Finally tracked down a Bird-of-Prey from the Hotwheels ship line. I know earlier I wasn't impressed with the refit Enterprise, the Enterprise D or the Reliant, but the BoP is awesome. The sculpt is practically spot on, the paint detailing is excellent. Most importantly the wings ARE adjustible, and what's more, they ratchet so they don't sag! Hotwheels really did their homework. Only real complaint is they needed one more ratchet position for the wings, but that's pretty minor. This is definitely the beat rendition of the BoP I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. If you can find one and are as much of a BoP fan as I am, the Hotwheels BoP is well worth the $13 they are asking. Vostok 7

Meh, little too expensive and I've never been impressed with their service. Rather buy from someone in the US on eBay with 100% positives for a potentially reasonable price. Vostok 7

Someday I hope someone makes a Stampede valk or the Armored Gerwalk. Either could be "upgrade packs" for the normal VF-1. I'd kill for either. Vostok 7

That, and it's the closest thing to a Stampede Valk we'll ever get in toy form. In many ways, it's much superior to the Stampede design. But, it doesn't have a nuclear bomb bigger than the valk itself so that loses it a few points to the Stampede for that Vostok 7

In the trailer I saw, it was a "Phoenix" Reseen Warhammer. Fortunately, they made it look actually good. Vostok 7

I had this feeling in the pit of my stomach that this was just too good to be true. Can we blame HG again? It just sucks because I care little about the other unseens, well, other than the BattleMaster and maybe the Shadow Hawk. I could also care less about the LAMs. I just want my Warhammer, Rifleman and Marauder! Vostok 7

It just sucks that they can't get their act together. They make some cool stuff, especially now with these HALO sets. If only they could figure out how to engineer sets so they don't fall apart and make pieces that actually fit together properly. I mean, for some sets their price per piece is almost as much as LEGO's, it couldn't be that hard to use a better plastic and tighten up the tolerances a little! The bad engineering wouldn't be so bad if the pieces weren't either too loose or too tight. Vostok 7

So, about those Unseens becoming Reseen again... (this time can we avoid the flamebaiting?) Pretty cool news! Definitely time for me to pick up the new 25th anniversary goodies coming out! Vostok 7

Les for the win. Bear is a showman, that's all. Most of the things he does are guaranteed to get you killed either a fast death or a slow death. Les actually attempts to, oh I don't know, SURVIVE. Did you know that Bear is flown out each night he "survives" to a posh hotel? He's also waited on hand and foot by a billion assistants during one of his shoots? Yeah, Les wins. Vostok 7

Wow, that's the single coolest thing I've heard in some time. The Reseens were total crap compared to the original designs (OK, some of them weren't bad, but most were lame ducks). I wonder if they are going to re-model the Unseens for Mechwarrior 3015 since they were using the Reseen Warhammer in the trailer. Vostok 7

Ahhh all this talk about IL-2. You guys who've played the PC version, anyone remember the Blitz Pigs Squadron? I'm a charter member, I guess we were pretty 'in'famous back in the day. My favorite plane was always the La-5FN. Though I spent some time flying the LaGG and Yak tank killers, the ones with the big cannon mounted in the nose. If flown right, they could be quite capable "snipers" The La-5FN is just the best dogfighter, though. Vostok 7

Considering how good the PC one was, it wouldn't surprise me it's pretty decent on the Xbox. Tempted to try it, I miss flying my La-5FN. Vostok 7
