Zoltek... Wasn't that one of the Dougram/Battletech style ones? I had the 1/144 triple changer that was exactly like Max's VF-1J. It was missing all the important parts (metal landing gear, clear canopy, polycaps) and I bought it for $5. Sold it on ebay for $15. I think they're worth a little since they're rare, but I wouldn't say they're worth a whole lot. Vostok 7 -

Yeah man but you didn't just go missing from MW, you were missing from MSN and VEX... I figured you were on your way back to Alaska, but you didn't tell me when you were traveling... I guess we just care about you... Maxie doesn't tell me anything NEmo'. I suck. Vostok 7 -
My first yammies were the full Mac+ set purchased late 2000, early 2001 from TSKOH (can't remember his name lol) in Singapore by my dad while he was over there on a visit. I had joined (a very early incarnation of) MW shortly before that and that's how I got hooked up with TSKOH. I barely remember those days. I didn't participate in MW much back then, but then when the new Ikonboards moved in I started posting a storm. Vostok 7

That sounds great.... except us foreigners have one heck of a time putting the billing address down.... that even when retailers take foreign credit cards. Ahh, that's why we have a "Comments" field during checkout so that you can put in the complete address to your heart's content lol. The only reason why I like hlj is because all they ask is for the shipping address.... no billing or anything. I never understood why they could do that while most other e-tailers had to ask for billing address. Umm, well, in the U.S., when you process a credit card, you verify the card by matching it with the billing address. The credit card processor will tell you if it's a match. And many people have different billing addresses (such as a P.O. Box) than their shipping address (such as their work address, etc.) Also, some customers purchase items as a gift and want it shipped to someone else. I have no idea why HLJ doesn't ask for a billing and shipping address. But hey, they're in Japan, I don't know how things work there. I see. Oh well.... by the time the Hikaru 1s comes out... I will give my card a try with one of MW e-tailers. I just had to keep this going..... Lol. It's like when you plug a camera into the TV and then point it at said TV. i play along, focus more....getting sharper I didn't know the new MW forums could do 3D!! Gawd!! That IS freaky!!!! can we have...more? This thread is so toast! Can't we stop this please? ... Vostok 7 Just testing the limits of the boards.... move along <_< Vostok 7

I have AC3 and I liked it because the graphics are great and the gameplay is nice, but I hated the control scheme. The clunky controlls got me killed many a time. If they made the controls different or at least fully customizeable, I'd be very happy. Vostok 7

Mine's obvious. It's not? Okay, well... One of my first internet nicknames was Vertigo 7, back when I played Descent almost every waking hour. I went by some other notable names, Dire Wolf, KGB-FSK, KGB, SVDragunov... I got into a game called Subspace and that spawned a few names, '69 Scout, A View to a Kill (Savage Dragon squadron represent!), and a few others. I also went by a couple names on Active Worlds (A 3D chat program). Foo Fighter, Kahn Foo Fighter and Ian Nottingham most notably. Finally, it was time to settle on one name and one name only. Delving deeply into Russian culture as I have always enjoyed, I becamed enamored with the Russian aerospace programs of the 60s and 70s, as many of you well know. My favorite subject happend upon the Vostok series of capsules. The Vostok capsules (Vostok translates to East in Russian, the direction the capsules were launched) were the first vehicles to take humans into space. Yuri Gagarin rode Vostok 1 into orbit. Vostok 6 was piloted by the first female in space, Valentina Tereshkova. Vostok 5 and Vostok 6 had the first space flyby, as well as the first space "family" (Vostok 5 was piloted by Valentina Terehskova's soon to be husband). And, since Vostok both sounds cool, and my favorite number is 7, I became Vostok 7. There's another side to this. Around this time I fell in love with Russian watches. Cheap, self winding and virtually indestructable, I stumbled across what I feel to date are the best watches I've owned. The company name? Vostok. So that's the history of my nickname. I'm sticking with Vostok 7 now for as long as possible. Agreed! Vostok 7

I've modded before. It's never easy, but fortunately the places I've modded were pretty small. Everyone got along alot better than they do here lol. There's been times I've had to lay the smackdown though. And I love it every time... *evil chortle into evil laugh* <_< Vostok 7

I know what you are saying. I've been on both sides of such a battle... All it takes is a decent player in a light mech and you can say byebye daishi/dire wolf! Playing against AI 'mechs is nothing. Play against a real, accomplished player and you'll be singing a different story. Vostok 7

...what was that? Oh... Yes, I agree!! <_< Vostok 7

Because Volition and Outrage were trading off duities. Parallax did Descent 1 and Descent 2, then they split into Outrage and Volition. Volition did Descent Freespace and Freespace 2 while Outrage worked on Descent 3. Then, it became Voliton's turn to do Descent 4, but they decided to basically kill the series and make RF. Outrage is now basically dead as far as I know. Last I heard, Volition was going to release what they had done with D4 to the public to let the Descent community develop their own D4. It's been awhile since I heard anything though. Vostok 7
