  1. As some of you have heard, Seth Rollins suffered a knee injury (a.k.a. "Unhappy Triad") at a house show in Dublin and will require surgery and at least nine months out of action. As a result, he's been stripped of the WWE Heavyweight Championship - meaning that the WWE's plan to break CM Punk's title reign record of 434 days has been thwarted, fortunately. A tournament will be held at this month's Survivor Series to determine the new WWE Champion. If WWE were so intent on having Rollins erase CM Punk from the record books, why didn't they recycle the angle where CM Punk kept the belt even with a torn MCL? Stripping the title from Rollins simply removes him of any relevance to the Authority. The only thing for him to do when he comes back is to turn babyface, but he still wouldn't recover the momentum he had as Champion. And since we're celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker, don't tell me he'll take the belt...
  2. I always thought Jackie Brown was the weakest of all of Tarantino's films. The dialogue wasn't as good as the other films, not to mention that Samuel L. Jackson's hairdo was the worst. People give a lot of good praise, but I just don't see it. As weak of an ending as Kill Bill Vol. 2 was, it still has a better replay value than Jackie Brown.
  3. And now for some Gunpla news: The HGIBO McGillis' Schwalbe Graze was just released in Japan, but Bandai once again pisses off most Gunpla collectors by making Gaelio's unit a P-Bandai exclusive. And it won't be out until February. P-Bandai Exclusive: HG 1/144 Gaelio's Schwalbe Graze The same deal with the space variant of Gjallarhorn's workhorse. P-Bandai Exclusive: HG 1/144 Graze Ares Color Standard Type / Commander Type Now this is simply genius. HG 1/144 Over Graze - Custom Build
  4. I'd like to see Barbatos in its completely original form (not what we have right now in Gunpla form). Hopefully, we'll see some flashbacks of the Calamity War, which explains the origins of the Gundam-frame suits. Here's a little warm-up before the next episode.
  5. An English version of the manga is available in Singapore.
  6. Since the mods refuse to update the title of the existing Gundam Show Thread, it's time that Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (機動戦士ガンダム 鉄血のオルフェンズ) had its own thread. Here, we'll cover the TV series, Gunpla, and other related merchandise. The episodes are available on YouTube every Sunday night at 17:30 Japan time (except in the U.S. and a few other territories); the series is also available via Daisuki.net, Crunchyroll, and Funimation online. For starters, here's the story so far. Episode 1: "Iron and Blood" (鉄と血と) Episode 2: "Barbatos" (バルバトス) Episode 3: "Glorious Demise" (散華) Episode 4: "The Price of Life" (命の値段) Episode 5: "Beyond the Red Sky" (赤い空の向こう) Official Site by Sunrise Official Site by MBS
  7. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 86% - "The Peanuts Movie offers a colorful gateway into the world of its classic characters and a sweetly nostalgic -- if relatively unambitious -- treat for the adults who grew up with them." Metacritic Score: 67 out of 100And here are The Piano Guys doing their rendition of the theme.
  8. Sadly, it's dropping within Quantum of Solace levels. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 65% - "Spectre nudges Daniel Craig's rebooted Bond closer to the glorious, action-driven spectacle of earlier entries, although it's admittedly reliant on established 007 formula." Metacritic Score: 65 out of 100
  9. Continuing with the celebration of the 40th anniversary of "Bohemian Rhapsody", here's the iconic scene that brought Queen back in the U.S. charts.
