  1. If only Spike TV aired the unedited, un-dubbed version of Takeshi's Castle...
  2. Trouble in the skies for the WWE. And everyone thought William Regal was every flight attendant's worst nightmare:
  3. Dude, the Batmobile ate a Hummer!
  4. Good thing I paid $0 for mine (my co-worker gave me his for Christmas).
  5. Yeah, it was bad, but at least it's better than Bubblegum Crisis: Grand Mal by Adam Warren.
  6. Same here. Gaiking is one of the ugliest robots in anime history.
  7. Okay, so whose turn is it to post a question? BTW, no bumping of threads allowed on the forums, just to let you know.
  8. Earlier tonight on RAW: - Triple-H made his return by clobbering Hurricane from behind. He then started jabbering about being the "franchise" (probably to mock Shane Douglas). - At the locker room, La Resistance and Garrison Cade told Tajiri to spit mist at the first person entering the room. Coachman got vicimized and told Bischoff on him. As a result, Bischoff issued a no-DQ match between Tajiri and Kane. Surprisingly, Tajiri won by count-out, but later on paid the price with a chokeslam before Edge ran in and speared Kane. - Rhyno squashed Lance Storm. Wow...is the WWE actually giving Rhyno a push? - Chris Benoit now hails from Atlanta, GA. What a load of crap. It's just the WWE's attempt at stealing the Edmonton crowd away from Benoit at Backlash. - HHH attacked Shelton Benjamin for disrespecting him. Austin told Shelton to challenge HHH. During the match, Flair and Benoit appear at ringside. And for the first time ever, HHH put someone over on RAW by jobbing to Shelton. - Unfortunately, that means one thing: HHH is regaining the title on the next PPV.
  9. Well, that's exactly where I left off.
  10. Hah! South Africa has one better: The most effective anti-carjacking device
  11. Well, what do you know? Yesterday, a friend of mine bought me Ninja Gaiden as a late birthday present. So far, I've completed the airship stage. The graphics and sound are awesome, but I have two major complaints: - The camera work need improvement. - This game is ridiculously hard. I can't wait to finish the game to unlock the original Ninja Gaiden.
  12. Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 patrol car! Hell yeah! Make that one Prowl.
  13. KingNor will definitely want this one as an Autobot.
  14. This would make a good Autobot. I wonder what name Hasbro will use, though. (Ironhide, maybe?) Dodge Ram SRT-10 - The result of dropping a Viper engine in a pickup ENGINE Type: V10 Displacement: 8300 cc Horsepower: 500 bhp @ 5600 rpm Torque: 525 lb-ft @ 4200 rpm Redline: 6000 rpm PERFORMANCE 0-60 mph: 5.2 sec 0-100 mph: 11.5 sec Quarter Mile: 13.8 sec @ 106 mph
  15. She also plays Nancy in the TV series. As a matter of fact, she becomes Miss Deep once more on the final episode.
  16. I know Capt_Bob and maxjenius81 beat me to the punch, but here are my answers: Tapp Oceano (Metal Armor Dragonar) Arthur (Mobile Suit Gundam F91) Dee Jay (Street Fighter II: The Movie) Balrog (Street Fighter II: The Movie) Axel Hawk (Fatal Fury II) Dark Eyes (Crying Freeman)
  17. Puni Puni Poemi ( ぷにぷに☆ぽえみぃ ) J.C. Staff/Victor Entertainment, 2001 ADV Films, 2004 Directed by Shinichi Watanabe (Excel Saga, Tenchi Muyo! GXP) Rated 17+ for graphic violence, gratuitous T&A, HLA, S&M, sex with a minor, and suggested drug use on the part of the production staff. Poemi Watanabe (a.k.a. Kobayashi) is a 10-year-old girl with aspirations of being a famous voice actress. Unfortunately, her school grades are bad and her voice acting is even worse. But when a mysterious alien kills her parents and wreaks havoc all over Tokyo, Poemi grabs a talking fish, skins it into a wand and becomes the magical girl Puni Puni Poemi to save the day. Story: B+ It's anime like this that can severely fry your brain. Puni Puni Poemi may not be as disgusting as Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, is more potent with nastier humor and suggestive child sex. Hell, I'm kind of surprised this actually made a domestic release, given all the violations it's committed. Animation: A- As it's an OAV, Puni Puni Poemi boasts better artwork and animation than Excel Saga. Character designs by Satoshi Ishino (Excel Saga, Triangle Heart). Soundtrack: B+ There's nothing like a trademark Shinichi Watanabe song to give you a good laugh. All the songs performed by Yumiko Kobayashi are a riot. Sub vs. Dub Puni Puni Poemi features Yumiko Kobayashi (Tetsunosuke in Peace Maker Kurogane, Sarah in Love Hina) as Poemi, Yuka Imai (Jinto in Crest of the Stars and Banner of the Stars) as Futaba, Aya Hisakawa (Haruka in RahXephon, Skuld in Ah! My Goddess) as Nanase, Tomoko Kawakami (A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, Revolutionary Girl Utena) as Mutsumi, Kotono Mitsuishi (Excel Saga, Misato in Neon Genesis Evangelion) as Itsue, Omi Minami (Hyatt in Excel Saga, Ruri in Martian Successor Nadesico) as Shii, Atsuko Enomoto (Steel Angel Kurumi, Yukino in His & Her Circumstances) as Mitsuki, Satomi Koorogi (Menchi in Excel Saga, Maho in Please Teacher!) as Hitomi, and Shinichi Watanabe reprising his role as Nabeshin. Given the fact that there is live-action footage of Yumiko Kobayashi and a two-second cameo by Kotono Mitsuishi, what's the whole point of dubbing Puni Puni Poemi in English? Featured voices include Cynthia Martinez (Lina in ADV's Slayers releases, Mikako in Voices of a Distant Star) as Poemy, Luci Christian (Kaname in Full Metal Panic!, Yukari in Azumanga Daioh ) as Futaba, Hilary Haag (Karinka in Steel Angel Kurumi, Megumi in RahXephon) as the Magic Fish, Kelly Manison (Naga in ADV's Slayers releases, the Great Will of the Macrocosm in Excel Saga) as Nanase, Yu Haul (Wow...what an original name.) as Mutsumi, Larissa Wolcott (the second half of Excel Saga) as Itsue and Kotono Mitsuishi, Monica Rial (Saki in Steel Angel Kurumi, Kirika in NOIR) as Shii, Jessica Boone (Chiyo in Azumanga Daioh , Misaki in Angelic Layer) as Mitsuki, Kira Vincent-Davis (Osaka in Azumanga Daioh , Quon in RahXephon) as Hitomi, and Brett Weaver (Gai in Martian Successor Nadesico, Toji in Neon Genesis Evangelion) reprising his role as Nabeshin. DVD Extras Under Construction The Bottom Line Outrageously offensive and downright dirty, Puni Puni Poemi may be hazardous to your brain. Unless you're an Excel Saga fan. 19. The Rose of Versailles is a masterpiece on its own. Great story, great animation and excellent music. Now on to the next question: In Urotsukidoji, when... Scratch that one. Name two anime titles featuring the voices of Shinichiro Miki, Satsuki Yukino and Michiko Neya.
  20. Why buy a Transformer named after a boy band?
  21. This brings me back to my old YF-19 vs. Ultra Jetstorm page.
  22. Hey you! Don't you be dissin' Wheeljack. He's one of the best G1 Autobots.
