  1. From my understanding, Dokusensha and the Library were rivals. For decades, they battled for supremacy over knowledge. John Woo was just a carrier pigeon owned by Lee Lin-ho, assigned to deliver messages to the Paper Sisters. After the Dokusensha Tower was destroyed and Lee died, Woo just decided to stick around with the sisters.
  2. Well, it was revealed that the British Library created the I-Jin. According to Wendy's transcripts, someone stole the DNA samples and created Ikkyu, Ginnai Hiraga, Genzo Sanjo, Otto Lillenthal, Ludwig Von Beethoven, Jean Fabre and Mata Hari. They became the terrorist group that you see in the OAV. Who was the mastermind behind the incidents that occured in the OAV?
  3. Nice catch, Six. I gotta get me one of those Tomahawks.
  4. But is it a match against the Dodge Tomahawk?
  5. I finished the series myself, and even though the story's come to a close, there are a few unanswered questions: 1. What really happened to Yomiko-chan's former mentor? 2. Who did steal the I-Jin DNA in the OAV series? 3. Why did the British Library abduct Nenene? Is her writing really that important?
  6. Za-za-za za-zan, Za-za-za za-zan Za-za-za za-zan, Za-za-za za-zan Zanbot-3! Zanbot-3! Zanbot-3! Ga! That's one sweet SOC. Can't wait to see that in stores.
  7. (Waiting for Max Jenius to post his thoughts on Naruto)
  8. I'm watching it tomorrow, along with Walking Tall.
  9. Looks nice and all, but is it operational?
  10. Hell no. He always claimed that if not for Robotech, there would be no Macross 7. What really pissed me off was that he made a racist post against me.
  11. Uhhh...what does this have to do with MPCs?

  13. Batman: Dead End Collora Studios/Level 7/Montauk Films, 2003 Not Authorized by Warner Bros. or 20th Century FOX Directed by Sandy Collora Batman created by Bob Kane (1915-1998) Predator created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas Alien created by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett Not Rated (Suggested PG-13). Contains graphic violence and mild language. Cast - Clark Bartram as Bruce Wayne/Batman - Andrew Koenig (Boner in Growing Pains) as The Joker - Kurt Carley (Werewolf in Underworld) as Predator #1 & #4 - Jake McKinnon as the Alien - Patrick Magee as the red Predator - Dragon Dronet as Predator #3 Synopsis The Dark Knight Detective once again confronts his arch-nemesis The Joker, but their reunion is rudely interrupted by some unexpected guests. Lowdown How long has it been since we had a decent Batman movie? After the 1997 big-budgeted bomb Batman & Robin, it seemed as if the Dark Knight's film franchise was no more. But with the announcement of an all-new film to be released next year, there is still hope for Batman on the big screen. In the meantime, we have Batman: Dead End - an 8-minute short film by Sandy Collora, who has worked as a concept artist for films like Guyver 2: Dark Hero, Men in Black and Dogma. Instead of using the ridiculously armored variants of the four Batman films, Collora patterned this Batman after Alex Ross' retro designs. Clark Bartram may have the build of Adam West, but he plays a much better Batman than Val Kilmer and George Clooney. Andrew Koenig, however, seems a bit too young to play Joker. And for those wishing for a live-action adaptation of the best-selling Batman vs. Predator comic, it doesn't get any closer than this. Hell, even people anticipating the upcoming Alien vs. Predator movie will want to check this out as well. The Alien looks decent, except that he's a bit overweight. The fact that he doesn't reveal his second mouth in the film is a major letdown. The Predator, on the other hand, is dead-on to the ones on the two Predator films (as Collora worked on Predator 2) - right down to the trademark claws, shoulder blaster and heat vision. Of course, the fight between Batman and Predator is too short and it doesn't cover much battleground. The Alien is in it for only 10 seconds. But then again, keep in mind that this is a $30,000 amateur film (nearly $10,000 more than The Blair Witch Project), even with its spectacular cinematography and outstanding special effects. The film even borrows musical scores from Danny Elfman and Alan Silvestri, who composed the music for Batman and Predator, respectively. Batman: Dead End is not perfect, but arguably the best amateur movie today. Someday, we might see an actual Batman vs. Aliens vs. Predator movie develop from this. 15. My thoughts exactly. Too bad he severed his ties with the WWE due to "racial discrimination" (there were reports of wrestlers using his turban as a trash bin and then calling him a taxi driver).
  16. WWE attempted that with Tiger Ali Singh and it failed.
  17. Not bad. I had my own concept for a super sentai show. It was called Mori Sentai Park Ranger (Forest Task Force Park Ranger).
  18. Ain't gonna happen. Cena will be cheated out of the tournament - either by Angle himself or Rene Dupree and his poodle Fifi. Booker T. might win, but all bets will be on John "Bradshaw" Layfield. Speaking of Bradshaw, is it me, or is his stockbrocker gimmick going nowhere? I remember first seeing this guy as Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw back in the mid-90s. Ever since then, Bradshaw's always been viewed by fans as a Redneck, whether he carried a branding iron (first gimmick mentioned above) or spent most of the show chugging beer (APA with Faarooq). The whole stockbroker gimmick may reflect his real-life persona, but it just doesn't work for a Texan like him (he'd be better off as an oil tycoon, but from what I know, the oil in Texas dried up a long time ago). The only way I see Bradshaw getting this gimmick over is bringing in Ted DiBiase or Irwin R. Schyster (Mike Rotundo) as his manager. Hell, why not even bring them both in and have the three reform Money, Inc.? As for RVD and Charlie Haas getting eliminated via double count-out...what a load of crap! RVD's taken heavier bumps than that, yet he's managed to get back in the ring before the 10-count.
  19. Could this be the end of the Spin-a-roony?
  20. SPOILER ALERT!!! Do not read further unless you've reached episode 25. As Mamoru reveals his true identity to Usagi-chan, his relationship with Hina goes downhill when she finds Usagi-chan's handkerchief in his room. Meanwhile, Kunzite and Jadeite instigate a Yoma attack to lure the Sailor Senshi. Sailor Moon arrives on the scene only to be confronted once again by Kunzite. Right when Kunzite is close to slicing her in half, he's blocked by Sailor Venus, who then commands Sailor Moon to run and save the people while she - along with Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter - fight Jadeite, Kunzite and the Yoma. Then, without warning, the doors in the room slam shut. Sailor Venus realizes that Sailor Moon is the one they're targeting. But before they can do anything, the Sailor Senshi are frozen by the Yoma. As Kunzite is about to finish off Sailor Moon, evil Sailor Mercury arrives and tells him she's her prey. He tells her to back off; she defies him, threatening to kill him. Kunzite then proceeds to slash Sailor Moon when Tuxedo Kamen runs in to take the damage. Once again, Sailor Moon's powers awaken to their full potential, only that she's finally revealed herself to be Princess Serenity and that she's held the Mystical Silver Crystal all along. The Sailor Senshi are thawed out, the Yoma is obliterated, and Jadeite, Kunzite and evil Sailor Mercury retreat. Sailor Venus resumes her position as the leader of the Sailor Senshi. So what's going to happen on the next episode? All I know is that it's not going to be a pretty sight.
  21. Let's hope Arc System Works keeps Guilty Gear in 2D.
  22. Three words: Samurai Shodown 64
  23. Kamen Rider Blade put me to sleep. The first episode has practically zero plot direction and the show has the most boring-ass henshin sequence (instead of the traditional poses, he forms a CG wall and runs through it to become Kamen Rider Blade).
