What?!? Who do they think they are? Putting only two 30-minute episodes per disc is a major travesty in the anime DVD market. If this is their way of making up for Anime Network losing the Comcast deal to Sony (which eventually paves the way for Animax to hit the US), ADV's going down big-time.

That's why my list says "Worst Anime Endings (or Non-Endings)." Like Candidate for Goddess, Ninja Resurrection and Sword for Truth had no ending; they just stopped with bad cliffhangers and no plot resolution. Of course, ADV announced they were co-producing a TV continuation of Ninja Resurrection, but just like their proposed Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2041 and Cutey Honey projects, it seems to be vaporware.

I got my Smokescreen, Tracks, Hound and Silverstreak from Target. Meister was ordered from Wal-Mart.com. I might get Dead End later this year. Side Swipe is last on my list, as every Target and TRU has him overstocked. As for Grimlock, I may have no choice but to get him after Christmas. -

With the exception of Megazone 23 all the titles you mentioned are not available on R1 DVD.

Apparently, Murphy will be known as "R.I.C." (Robotic Interactive Canine). The SP License goes for $9.99 while the D-Magnum goes for $17.99. Unfortunately, the US version of the SP License has only two modes instead of three. And yeah, Disney and Bandai suck for not bringing in the Dekavehicles.

It looks like the RHD Silverstreak is just as common as the LHD version. When I bought mine at Target in Burbank, they had six of them in stock; three of them RHD. Even other Target branches in North Hollywood, Northridge and Woodland Hills have equal or more amounts of RHD versions. -

Speaking of Silverstreak, a question to those who already have him: Left-hand drive or right-hand drive? Mine's RHD, as Smokescreen is already LHD. -
As of now, they're not yet on R1 DVD. The Australians are lucky, though. Madman Entertainment has released Voltron on R4 DVD.

Toys 'R' Us, Target and Wal-Mart now have Power Rangers SPD toys in stock, and they're going fast - even if the buyers haven't heard of Dekaranger. Here's what's available: - SPD Morpher (SP License) - SPD Delta Blaster (D-Magnum) - Deluxe 12" Action Figures - Deluxe Battlized Red Ranger - Light Patrol Action Figures - Battlized Action Figures - Delta Bikes The first two toys are based on the original Japanese ones released by Bandai. All others are exclusively made for the Power Rangers SPD series.

The Cobratwisters are also great. They did the opening theme for Dai-Guard. The Cobratwisters "Rojiura no Uchuu Shounen" by The Cobratwisters (RealAudio Format)

Anyone here listen to Loudness? They go all the way back to the hair-metal days of the '80s, but they still kick ass. As a matter of fact, you can hear some of their music on Geneshaft and the 1985 anime movie Odin.

Don't ask. I don't want to know what's in the box.

In my opinion, Animetal Marathon I and Animetal Marathon II are the best, though This is Animetal has a better version of "Uchuu Senkan Yamato." I reviewed Animetal Marathon V over a year ago. It's a good album, but even with "Pegasus Fantasy (Saint Seiya theme)" and "Zankoku na Tenshi no Te-ze (Neon Genesis Evangelion theme)," it's lacking in terms of content and overall feel (though it better than the Ultraman-oriented Animetal Marathon III). I'm hoping the band can do one better with Animetal Marathon VI: The Sentimetal, which seems to have a promising playlist: 01.Opening(Syu曲) 02. Ditto. That reminds me...I gotta dust off my Animetal collection, especially with a new CD just released. BTW, Jemstone, what's your favorite Animetal cover song?
-
Actually, TM Revolution is just one person, and he's moderately popular in Japan. As for favorite J-Rock bands, my all-time favorite is Animetal.
-
No. It's some unknown magazine called "Newstype." At least that's what it says on the headline of this thread.

Wait a minute - the title of this thread says, "Newstype top 25 Anime of ALL time." Maybe we're actually talking about the wrong magazine.

I'm actually surprised that The Big O didn't make the list, considering the impact it made on Cartoon Network's Toonami timeslot when it first aired.
-
Because ADV publishes Newtype USA. Besides, I was being sarcastic.
-
I wonder how much Harmony Gold paid ADV to have Robotech listed in the top 10?
