Fortunately, it doesn't. The only new car in the movie is Daisy Duke's Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
-
skullone was banned from the old forums along with Bankofkev and other RT trolls two years ago. And like I said, he's not interested in returning to MW.
-
Can't be as bad as this.
-
Over the past year, I've asked skullone if he'll ever return to MW. Last time around, he told me he was no longer interested. I still talk to him over at the Anime News Network.

Just watched The Dukes of Hazzard yesterday. I was expecting it to completely suck, but surprisingly, it was very entertaining. Yes, the storyline was awful, but the car chases were awesome. Here are some highlights (may contain spoilers): - Unlike Starsky and Hutch, which still takes place in the '70s, The Dukes of Hazzard takes place in the present day. General Lee is still a '69 Dodge Charger, while Daisy Duke drives a brand new white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. - In the original series, Uncle Jesse brings Bo and Luke in his home in hopes of preventing the cousins from doing his former business of moonshine running. In the film, Uncle Jesse still is a moonshine distiller and the Duke boys are doing the job of delivering the bottles around Hazzard County. - In the series, Bo's the one driving the General and picking up the chicks, while Luke really doesn't do much. In the film, Luke's the one getting the chicks while Bo is too busy talking to his car. He listens to either Air Supply or some audiobook cassette of Al Unser, Jr.'s career. - Even though the movie is about rednecks, there's hardly any NASCAR references. Instead, people from the open-wheel racing circuit show up, like Indy car racer A.J. Foyt IV. - Rosco P. Coltrane isn't the old, dumb sheriff we're used to in the series. Instead, he's just an uninteresting character. - Jessica Simpson may be hot, but she just isn't Daisy Duke compared to Catherine Bach. - For some reason, whenever Lynda Carter was around, I was expecting her to spin around... - The new General Lee looks similar to the original, only with a smaller steering wheel and a CD player. Of course, it still has the Confederate flag on the roof, which instigates a conflict between the Dukes and a black gang when they drive around Atlanta. - The Atlanta chase scene shows that a Charger can also do mad drifts. - All of the General Lee jumps are real, no matter how fake the freeway jump on the trailer looks. During the ending credits, there's footage of two Chargers losing control after the freeway jump and slamming on the center divider and the trees on the outside. During the rally jump, one Charger lands nose-first and lands upside down.

Last night on RAW: - WTF?!? Tatanka is still alive? - Vinnie Mac came in to announce that RAW has officially spawned more episodes than any TV show in history (the previous record holder was Gunsmoke). He also announced that after nearly a year of "You Screwed Matt!" and "We Want Matt!" chants, Matt Hardy has officially returned to the WWE. - Hardy made some very detailed comments on how Lita cheated on him and how their relationship nearly ended his career. He also announced that he'll be facing his former best friend Edge at SummerSlam. - This whole Diva Search is a complete waste of time. Other than to promote Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, adding Rob Schneider into the mix was completely pointless. - Anyone here tired of seeing John Cena as champ?

Small world we live in. I've been a frequent lurker at the Mustang Source for the past two years. I can't wait to see pics of your GT when it arrives.
-
The Mustang has the Interior Sport Appearance package (leather-wrapped steering wheel with silver spokes, silver-colored shifter). I also had the rear windows tinted (front window tints are illegal in California). As for other options, here's what I plan to add: 1. Ducktail spoiler 2. Mustang badges on the front fenders 3. Paint the brake calipers (either black or red)
-
Of course. There's no better way to drive a pony car.
-
Well, you guys are not gonna believe this. I traded in my Civic for a brand-new Mustang V6. And I'm lovin' it.
-
Not that I recall. Over at AP, we were talking about the Koenigsegg CCR.

Last night on RAW: - Another Masterlock Challenge by Chris Masters. Yawn. - Hogan accepted HBK's challenge for SummerSlam. - Matt Hardy once again did a run-in on Edge. Even though he's appeared on RAW twice, no one knows his current status, as he hasn't officially signed a contract with WWE. There were rumors of him appearing on TNA to convince everyone he's a free agent. And after over 20 years in the business, the WWE's most famous referee has been given the pink slip. The 2005 San Diego Comic Con Thread

Was that the giant Veritech at the con? I thought that was an Alpha fighter, but then again, I haven't watched New Generation in years. 311646[/snapback] It was yet another poorly sculpted statue from the folks at Toynami. I have a pic, but it'll be a while before I can post it. -
Same colors as the original release.

There was no mention about jets for the Alternators line. However, Hasbro wants to make Alternator SUVs, which means they'll be bigger and slightly more expensive.
-
At the Comic Con, I talked to a Hasbro representative and got some TF news: - Hasbro and Takara are still looking to acquire licenses from other car manufacturers, but there are many limitations. As much as many want to see a transforming Ferrari, it won't happen, as Mattel has exclusive rights to the Italian manufacturer. The execs at BMW do not see profitability from transforming toy replicas of their cars. - Decepticharge's release has been delayed because the final prototype's head failed safety specs. - Prowl (Acura RSX patrol car) and Autobot Skids (Scion xB) will be at stores later this year. - There's a chance that Hasbro will re-release Alternator Tracks later this year, due to the high demand and extremely low volume last year. - This September, Costco will sell an exclusive TF gift set featuring R.I.D Optimus Prime (Super Fire Convoy) and Ultra Magnus (God Magnus). Later this year, TRU will offer a Cybertron gift set which includes Vector Prime and a smaller version of Starscream.

The 2005 San Diego Comic Con Thread

And here are some people I met at the Con. Wrestling fans and people who enjoyed Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects flocked to the ReelMarks Studios booth to get their picture taken with DDP and hold the real World Heavyweight Championship belt. (When replying to this quote, please remove all That blue Jedi chick is still hotter in person than on screen. (When replying to this quote, please remove all This is actually the third time I met Tiffany (I saw her at last year's Con and the recent Wizard World Con). Still my favorite Playmate. If you read the disclaimers, the Ford Family Plan does NOT include the Mustang. And I'm trying to move away from FWD, so a Civic Si is completely out of the question. Speaking of disclaimers, did you even read the one below the Mustang pic I posted?

The Minnesota Vikings didn't want him, and neither did the NFL as a whole. He also tried to sue WWE because of the no-compete clause on his contract. Well, if he signed it, he should've already known about it.
-
Apparently, the WWE simply did not want to negotiate a deal with the Dudleyz. Besides, the company doesn't care about tag teams anymore. And unlike Batista, Lesnar actually has wrestling skills. That's why I'd rather have him as champ than Batista.
