  1. Okay, that was a tough one. The answer is Pink Lady. Next question: In Ranma 1/2: Big Trouble in Nekonron, China, what technique did Ranma use to defeat Kirin?
  2. This past Monday on RAW: - Ashley won the 2005 RAW Diva Search. And I was hoping for Elisabeth to win, but when she got eliminated early, that's when I thought this whole Diva Search should burn down in hell. - As predicted, HBK interfered in the Hogan vs. Angle match. HBK already knows that the Montreal crowd hates him to no end; so to further infuriate them, he locked Hogan in the Sharpshooter. Of course you know what this means - Hogan beats HBK this Sunday at SummerSlam. And some advice to WWE writers: Give Y2J the belt.
  3. All right. Next question - Jeopardy!-style: Long before PuffyAmiYumi had their own cartoon show, this '70s female pop duo had their own anime series.

  5. Mahou Tsukai Sally?
  6. Just a reminder that Sin City on DVD will hit stores tomorrow. The release will feature several different covers.
  7. Your turn, JELEINEN.
  8. Time to dust off this thread. New question: In episode 1 of School Rumble, what is written on the door of the white AE86 Trueno seen during the bike chase scene?
  9. While I'm considering adding a pair of fog lights, I'm happy with the current front end. The Mustang runs great, though I have to get used to spending more $$$ on gas (the Civic I used to drive averaged at 47 mpg). Still, 26 mpg is not bad for a V6. Another plus is the fact that insurance on my Mustang actually costs less than my old Civic. Right now, I'm only paying $137/mo. As for the Pirellis, at least they're cheap ($118/ea. at TireRack.com). Man, that sucks. I thought Subarus were more durable than that.
  10. I don't have the HK version, so I don't know the contents of that disc. As far as the R1 version goes, the movie can be played in Cantonese, English, French or with the commentary featuring Stephen Chow, et al. Here's a list of the extras: The Making of Kung-Fu Hustle Hosted by Chi Chung Lam (the fat guy, Weight Vest in Shaolin Soccer) and Kwok Kuen Chan (Brother Sum, Empty Hand in Shaolin Soccer), this mini-documentary shows a behind-the-scenes look at the film. The duo also show you how to wash off the old-fashioned hair gel everyone wore in the movie. Deleted Scenes The original cuts of the Pig Sty Alley meeting and Sing's induction to the Axe Gang. Outtakes & Bloopers Not as funny as the ones in Shaolin Soccer, though. Trailers More reasons to hate Americanized film trailers, especially with the overuse of "Ballroom Blitz." Interview with Stephen Chow A US exclusive featuring martial arts journalist Ric Meyers. Poster Gallery Unfortunately, this doesn't include the original HK posters.

  16. Mighty Orbots was good, but TMS did a better job on Bionic Six. Random Trivia: Mighty Orbots and Bionic Six were directed by Osamu Dezaki (Golgo 13: The Professional, Sword For Truth).
  17. Well, since no one's mentioned it, I recommend you check out Figure 17. Great mix of action, sci-fi and drama.
  18. Throw in some Spiral Zone while we're at it.
  19. I also remember that Tigersharks was part of Rankin-Bass' ill-fated cartoon show The Comic Strip, which also included Street Frogs, Karate Kat and Mini-Monsters.
  20. At least they weren't as bad as Tigersharks.
  21. VF-X1 from the old boards DOES indeed drive such a car. Not an Avalanche, though. 319285[/snapback] Actually, vf-1x drives a purple Nissan 240SX. The white Acura Integra with the UN Spacy decals belongs to someone else.
  22. Sweet ride, myk. Are you gonna slap on the Confederate flag and '01' decals?
  23. Old news. I posted about the Maybach Exelero around 2-3 pages ago. The Skyline GT-R R34 Z-Tune was talked about on the first 8 pages of this thread.
  24. Just read a lot of reviews on this film, and majority of people who watched it didn't like it. Is it really that bad?
