I think we already discussed on the Movies and TV Series forum that HG porting Macross Zero into the Robotech universe is highly illogical. Never mind the fact that Macross Zero contradicts the original Macross universe (like Enterprise did to Star Trek); it just doesn't fit anywhere in Robotech. In the Macross universe, the ASS-1 crash started the war between the U.N. and other countries; hence the story of Macross Zero. On the other hand, in the Robotech universe, the crash actually ended a war in progress. And AFOS has no place in Robotech (even if HG would claim it's a giant Invid scout ship).

Kerd ma Lui ( เà¸à¸´à¸”มาลุย ) Baa-Ram-Ewe/Sahamongkol Film, 2004 Dragon Dynasty/Genius Products, LLC., 2007 Directed by Panna Rittikrai Running Time: 96 minutes Rated R for graphic violence, mature situations and profanity. Cast (Brackets indicate style of sport or martial art) Dan Chupong as Daew Kessarin Ektawatkul as Nui [Tae-Kwon-Do] Santisuk Promsiri as Lowfei Piyapong Piew-on as Tun [soccer] Rattaporn Khemtong as Tunta [Gymnastics] Somrak Khamsing as Tug Amornthep Waewsang as Moo [Gymnastics] Suebsak Pansueb as Jo [sepak Takraw] Nantaway Wongwanichislip as Nye [Rugby] Chatthapong Pantanaunkul (Saming in Ong-Bak) as Foong Sasisa Jindamanee as Baetoey [junior Muay Thai] Nappon Gomarachun as General Yang Synopsis Police detective Daew has successfully apprehanded the notorious drug dealer General Yang, only to see his partner blown up during the operation. As a means to ease his pain, he joins his sister Nui and a group of olympic athletes on a goodwill trip to a small village. But all hell breaks loose when a terrorist group linked to General Yang wreaks havoc on the village and slaughters half of the population, demanding the release of Yang in exchange for the lives of everyone else still breathing. Daew and the athletes - along with the villagers - must use their strength in numbers to take down the terrorists and prevent them from firing a nuclear missile towards Bangkok. Lowdown Is there really a story in this movie? Not really. But then again, if you've seen Ong-Bak, then you know a movie such as Born to Fight needs no script... Just a bunch of rabid stuntmen breaking their bones in the name of high-caliber entertainment. Born to Fight puts some of Thailand's best athletes on the big screen, ranging from a female Tae-Kwon-Do champ to a couple of gymnasts and a rugby player. One guy even uses his skills in sepak takraw (a mix of soccer and volleyball) to kick wicker balls at terrorists. The numerous gymnastic stunts make this film succeed where Gymkata failed. And the stunts? How can you forget a baddie being thrown from one big-rig to another without being run over when he hits the ground? Or the other baddies falling off of the big rigs and bouncing on the roofs of other trucks passing by? It's a surprise that majority of the stuntmen merely walked out of those nasty bumps. But what about Dan Chupong, the star of the movie? Having learned from Tony Jaa, Chupong is just as insane with his array of martial arts and acrobatics. And with a wide usage of firearms to boot, he may be the next Chow Yun Fat. It's undoubtedly the most suicidal, homicidal, genocidal film to come out of South East Asia. If you crave mindless, non-stop action, pick up Born to Fight right now. Rating: A- Reference The Internet Movie Database

Address is fine. We just don't need to see the actual pic twice.

I have yet to see any of the éX-Driver titles, even though I'm a fan of Kousuke Fujishima's works. Maybe I should reopen my NetFlix account and rent them all. Given that a lot of people like Guile's Shelby GT 500, I'm a bit surprised no one mentioned Ken's Porsche 911 Targa Cabriolet. I'm even more surprised that no one voted for the Mach 5. EDIT: My bad - it was a cabriolet, not a targa.

Yes, indeed. The arcade game isn't too bad, either.

Yellow Submarine Yukikaze Models

Next time, post your questions on the Yukikaze Super Thread. -
That is one sweet ride, Axelay. Sonic Blue is good by itself, but those stripes make it completely stand out. I see you want to do the Max route with a "VF-1J" decal. I'll probably do either a "VF-19A" or "VF-0D" decal on mine.

Good choice. Here are my picks: 1. 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 (Riding Bean / Gunsmith Cats) 2. 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 350 (Street Fighter II: The Movie) 3. Not really. He didn't show up when I reviewed Macross Dynamite 7. Neither did Keith.
-
Yeah, that was a bit of a turn-off, but it sure as hell beats watching Macross Dynamite 7.

All right, time to shift gears. We've talked about cars in movies and TV. Here's a new survey question: What are the best cars in anime?
-
Hey Axelay, I noticed that you're also on The Mustang Source forums. Guess that makes four of us (including myself, bsu and Hurricane29). Got any pics of your GT?

Dude, you didn't have to post the same thread three times. -

Yeah, it doesn't work on my system, either. Must be something in the Japanese version of Windows.

Looks like the link's been taken down. It was simply the scene where Osaka greets Yukari-sensei in the morning, only with a light saber in place of a kitchen knife.

I miss my Dreamcast. Used to play Sega Bass Fishing all day, especially with the fishing rod controller.

Unfortunately, Miho doesn't really do much in the series, as she's a minor character. As for the series itself, fans of the manga and anime will be disappointed. Still, it's worth watching.

Wow...now I'm feeling old already. Just found out that the band Velvet Revolver consists of Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), Slash (Guns 'N' Roses), Duff McKagan (GNR), Matt Sorum (GNR) and Dave Kushner (Jane's Addiction). I'm debating on whether or not I should buy their debut CD Contraband, as I've only heard "Slither." For those who have the CD, is it worth buying if you're into old-school GNR and STP? Axl Rose really needs to admit that Guns 'N' Roses is dead.

Mark your calendars, folks. On October 18, Warner Bros. will release Batman Begins on DVD. In addition, 2-disc Special Edition versions of the first three Batman films will be released on the same day. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/store...2670952-3694518
