  2. Even though First Contact was a great film, I could never get into TNG. Insurrection never got my interest, so I skipped it. And I knew Nemesis was gonna suck the big one. IMO, Star Trek died when Roddenberry died.
  3. Nissan is planning for Infiniti to reach Europe by 2008.
  4. Actually, Lexus does exist in Europe and Japan. As a matter of fact, Toyota in Japan discontinued the Aristo, Altezza and Soarer names in place of their Lexus names (GS, IS and SC, respectively).
  5. Like they need stuff like GPS, etc. It's a good thing I didn't opt for the Interior Upgrade Package (IUP) when I got mine. The last thing I need is a trip computer that'll nag about my MPG.
  6. from what I know, no. Can you get Skylines in the UK? The G35 is just the American name for the Skyline. 404977[/snapback] According to the UK website, the Skyline is not available there.
  7. I stopped listening to hair metal for almost five years before I started working at RadioShack last year. Hair Nation 23 on the Sirius Satellite Radio demo unit convinced me to get into it again. Aside from The Best of Poison, I also purchased Def Leppard's latest CD Yeah!, and I'm in the process of reviewing it. As far as losing interest, it depends mostly on the band. Bon Jovi is a clear example. Anything after New Jersey or Blaze of Glory (especially Keep the Faith, These Days and This Left Feels Right) is pretty bland, though I'd probably give Crush, Bounce or Have a Nice Day a chance.
  8. Well, for one thing, I hope the actual model does not have that Compact Flash slot, as CF is the digital equivalent of 8-track in comparison to SD and MemoryStick Pro Duo. Nissan should've at least put in a USB port for flash drives instead.
  9. Same here. I'll wait to see who IGN picks next week.
  10. This week's ADV Babe: Christine Auten (Sakaki in Azumanga Daioh)
  11. What do you guys think of the new Infiniti G35?
  12. Actually, he's known as R, not Q.
  13. I'll be going to both AX2006 and SDCC for free.

Animetal Theme (Reprise) * Incorporates "Communication Breakdown" by Led Zeppelin ** Incorporates "Burn" by Deep Purple Lowdown What do you get when you mix old-school anime themes with heavy metal? A bunch of headbanging otaku! In 1996, veteran J-Metal vocalist Eizo Sakamoto formed Animetal, a tribute band that performs heavy metal covers of anime themes in a non-stop marathon format. An independent self-titled EP release prompted Sony Music Entertainment to sign the band for their first full-length marathon CD. From the moment you play Animetal Marathon, you'll be in for a non-stop adrenaline rush. Songs like "Gatchaman no Uta," "Tekkaman no Uta," and "Tatakae! Polymar" will have you banging your head all day. And how can you have Animetal without some Super Robot themes? You'll be playing air guitar to the tunes of "Com-Battler V no Theme," "Voltes V no Uta," "Tobe! Gundam," "Mazinger Z" and "Ore wa Great Mazinger." It gets better with classics like "Uchuu Senkan Yamato," "Macross," "Devilman no Uta" and the lone power ballad "Ginga Tetsudou 999." Animetal Marathon is one of those novelty anime CDs you just have to buy, even if you're not into heavy metal. It's also a blast to play on the road. 15. I started this thread mainly to talk about cars. Anything related to cars such as maintenance and car care is also part of the discussion.
  16. Like Super Robot themes? Here are some videos featuring Animetal:
  17. Wow, since when did Bumblebee become a badass? Does this mean Spike has to sport a mullet now?
  18. It's called procrastination. The album's done. Let me rephrase that - the album's been done for over a decade. Axl just wants to piss off GNR fans by not releasing it.
  19. Sorry, no videos on this one.
  20. Koenigsegg - Too much car for The Stig
  21. Too bad we'll never see GNR regroup ever again, as Axl Rose is busy suing his former band members (who are now part of Velvet Revolver). There's still GNR, but it's not the same. Once Chinese Democracy is finally released (IF it will ever be released), expect it to flop.
  22. Yeah, it is. Thanks. I've had it for nearly a year.
  23. Yeah, good point. Let's get back to talking about cars. Anyway, did anyone catch the season finale of Pinks last night? That late crash was unbelievable.
  24. If they happen to show up at AX2006, I'll be more than obliged to take some pics for you.
