  1. ECW One Night Stand Results Tazz put Jerry "The King" Lawler to sleep with the Tazmission. Kurt Angle made Randy Orton tap out. The FBI (Full-Blooded Italians) def. Super Crazy/Tajiri via double fisherman buster on Tajiri. World Heavyweight Championship Rey Mysterio and Sabu fought to a no-contest after Sabu landed a flying DDT on Mysterio through a table and both men couldn't get up. Edge/Mick Foley/Lita def. Tommy Dreamer/Terry Funk/Beulah McGillycutty after Edge speared Beulah. Balls Mahoney bashed Masato Tanaka with a steel chair for the win. WWE Heavyweight Championship Throughout the entire match, John Cena was on the offensive, trying as much to ignore the rabid fans while keeping Rob Van Dam on the ground. It looked like he had the advantage when he knocked out the ECW referee and brought in SmackDown! referee Nick Patrick to make the count. Then, out of nowhere, someone wearing a trenchcoat and a biker helmet ran in and speared Cena through a table before knocking out Patrick. He removed his helmet, revealing himself as Edge. The fans chanted, "Thank You Edge!" as he ran off. RVD finished off Cena with the Five-Star Frog Splash. As RVD tried to get an unconscious Patrick, Paul Heyman ran in and made the three-count. Winner and New WWE Champion: Rob Van Dam BTW, set your VCRs, because ECW premieres this Tuesday night at 9 (8 Central) on SciFi.
  2. +1 on that. Excellent articulation and awesome detail make Fire Convoy the best among the new-generation Primes (even better than Galaxy Convoy, IMO).
  3. House Foods' Cars Commercial Hmmm...the Japanese dubbing's not bad. The trailer gives too much away, though.
  4. Awesome pics, reddsun1. Thanks for sharing them with us.
  5. Here's this week's ADV Babe. I've never even heard of her: Alice Fulks (Countess Werdenberg in Gilgamesh)
  6. Yeah, I've seen at least three Z06s on the road. And I couldn't agree more that they're an awesome sight.
  7. Dude, are you still holding a personal grudge against me? If so, you should drop it right now. So I was wrong on some of my posts, but you didn't have to call me an idiot or tell me not to say dumb things. As for me calling you an apeface or cockfag, that was self-defense. If you want an apology, so be it. Things need to be patched up here, and your continuous personal attacks are not helping at all.
  8. Well, you have to be a major car nut to know the voices behind most of the supporting cast. I don't know those two guys, though. And why did Disney/Pixar put Bob Costas (Cutlass) in the movie if he's not even an auto racing announcer? They should've gotten a real racing announcer for that role instead.
  9. Anyway, going to the subject of the movie itself: What did you think of the random cameo appearances by racers like Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Mario Andretti and Michael Schumacher? Personally, I thought it really didn't do much to the movie other than the fact that they were there. Dale Jr. had some really bad lines, though. Also, it's good that Pixar dedicated the film in memory of Joe Ranft (Red and the Peterbilt in the movie), who also played Heimlich in A Bug's Life, Wheezy in Toy Story 2 and Jacques in Finding Nemo.
  10. Tell me about it. I used to work as an usher at AMC Theatres, and the worst time to clean up is after any kids' movie.
  11. Which one? And please stop quoting images.
  12. Just came back from the theaters. Cars is nothing short of an excellent animated film. Even if you hate NASCAR, you'll really get into the movie. Just make sure to keep watching during the ending credits. Also, as with Pixar's other works, there's an opener for this one. It's called One Man Band, and it's freakin' hilarious.
  13. Starscream for me. Everything else in that series looks like crap.
  14. Wrecked Exotics is testament to that.
  15. Well, I was just being sarcastic. Besides, they installed a turbo without a heat shield, so what were they thinking? A few things that come in mind: 1. Some of the firemen probably noticed the guy with the camera and were wondering WTF he was doing all this time. 2. There might have been a malfunction on the hose. 3. Pretty much what emajnthis mentioned.
  16. Well, his time was up, anyway... Anyway, last night on The Triple-H Show: - Perhaps the only good thing about last night's episode was ECW giving the fans what they wanted: John Cena beaten to a pulp. - Vinnie Mac should've already learned that the whole Kiss My Ass gimmick is dead. The crowd was dead throughout the entire segment. Even HHH received zero pop.
  17. V-Dub - It's so hot, it's on fire, ja!
  18. I'll be there on July 1 as part of the Anime News Network panel.
  19. Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles Charity Screening at Mechacon 2006
  20. News Flash: Witchblade Licensed by FUNimation, Possible Adult Swim Broadcast
  21. In celebration of Superman Returns, Pepsi is holding a sweepstakes. Find the code on specially-marked Pepsi products and enter it online at the URL below for a chance to win... "ONE MILLION DOLLARS!" Pepsi - Superman Returns
  22. What color will you get? And which trim will you opt for?
  23. Do you ever hang around the gymnasium? Do you like movies about gladiators? Have you ever been in a turkish prison?
  24. Here's a thought: If Central Park Media goes out of business, many of their titles will probably go to other anime distributors like ADV Films (they already picked up the Area 88 OAV), Media Blasters (a good chunk of CPM's old catalog went to them), Geneon Entertainment, and Bandai Visual USA (hopefully, the Patlabor TV and OAV series goes their way). In this case, who'll pick up M.D. Geist?
