  1. WWE Unforgiven Results WWE Intercontinental Championship Johnny Nitro def. Jeff Hardy after Melina hit Jeff with her boot. Kane and Umaga fought to a double count-out. WWE Tag Team Championship The Spirit Squad def. The Highlanders via facebuster on Rory. Hell in a Cell D-Generation X def. The McMahons & Big Show after Triple-H cracked Vinnie Mac's skull with his sledgehammer. WWE Women's Championship Trish Stratus, in her final match, made Lita tap out to the Sharpshooter to regain the Women's Title. Randy Orton landed the RKO on Carlito. WWE Championship - Tables, Ladders & Chairs John Cena def. Edge after landing the F-U on the Rated-R Superstar through a stack of tables.
  2. If there's one thing about the Chase for the Championship, it's the way one accident or false move can greatly change the standings. Jimmie Johnson, who was second last week, took a nose-dive to ninth after slamming the outside wall. Johnson's teammate Kyle Busch also had an encounter with the wall, sliding down six slots to 10th. Matt Kenseth, who was the points leader last week, slid to third after Kevin Harvick won today's race (making him the new leader) and rookie Denny Hamlin scored a top-3 finish (putting him in second). If Harvick stays consistent, he will be the first-ever driver to win both the NEXTEL Cup Championship and the Busch Series Championship within the same year. 1. Kevin Harvick (leader) 2. Denny Hamlin (-35) 3. Matt Kenseth (-41) 4. Jeff Gordon (-50) 5. Jeff Burton (-64) 6. Mark Martin (-75) 7. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (-81) 8. Kasey Kahne (-110) 9. Jimmie Johnson (-139) 10. Kyle Busch (-146)
  3. Sad to hear about a racer who was killed doing what he loved most - racing.
  4. They lied to you. If you bought the boxed set, you get nothing but the same DVDs issued back in 1999. You can tell by the KISS and Everclear anti-drug PSAs on the Extras section.
  5. Got a URL for MMA?
  6. It's a Jaguar, NOT a Cadillac.
  7. So, did anyone here pick up the DVDs today?
  8. Since Macross Plus runs through my blood, I gotta have it first time around. Besides, I never had a major issue with any of my Yamato Valks when I got them (despite the VF-11's weak hips, which have yet to break; and the 1/48 VF-1S's crooked right fin decal).
  9. Meanwhile, in NASCAR, the final 10 contenders for the NEXTEL Cup Championship have been named: 1. Matt Kenseth (Leader) 2. Jimmie Johnson (-5) 3. Kevin Harvick (-10) 4. Kyle Busch (-15) 5. Denny Hamlin (-20) 6. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (-25) 7. Mark Martin (-30) 8. Jeff Burton (-35) 9. Jeff Gordon (-40) 10. Kasey Kahne (-45) Last year's champion Tony Stewart failed to secure a top 10 spot on Saturday's race. At 11th place, this marks the first time he'll miss the Chase for the Championship. Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards and Kurt Busch, who were in last year's top 10, also missed the chase. They're ranked at 12, 13 and 14, respectively.
  10. This Sunday, WWE presents Unforgiven. I probably won't watch it, but here are my predictions: Kane vs. Umaga It's a known fact that Kane won't put newbies over and the WWE wants to keep Umaga's undefeated streak intact, so expect a no-contest between the two or otherwise a DQ from one of them. Carlito vs. Randy Orton Carlito spits in the face of the Legend-killer. WWE Tag Team Championship - Spirit Squad vs. The Highlanders Sorry, but the Bushwhackers in Kilts will not win the belts. That goes to show that WWE doesn't care about the Tag Titles anymore. WWE Women's Championship - Lita vs. Trish Stratus Trish announced her retirement, so don't be surprised if she loses to Lita. WWE Intercontinental Championship - Johnny Nitro vs. Jeff Hardy Expect Hardy to win. Hell in a Cell - D-Generation X vs. The McMahons & Big Show Like anyone actually cares about this feud. WWE Championship (Tables, Ladders & Chairs) - Edge vs. John Cena TLC is Edge's turf, so expect him to win. Besides, Cena's gonna jump to SmackDown!, anyway.
  11. Happy Birthday, Noriko! What a way to start an all-new Gunbuster thread.
  12. This was actually announced a few days ago, but I thought I'd share this with the resident F1 fans here: Michael Schumacher to Retire From F1
  13. Got too busy with MySpace, as my co-workers are there.

  15. Tom Yum Goong ( ต้มยำà¸à¸¸à¹‰à¸‡ ) Baa-Ram-Ewe/Sahamongkol Film, 2005 Golden Network Asia Limited/Dragon Dynasty/The Weinstein Company, 2006 Directed by Prachya Pinkaew (Ong-Bak) Running Time: 109 minutes Rated R for graphic martial arts violence, nudity, sexual situations and strong language. Cast Tony Jaa as Kham Petchtai Wongkamlao as Mark Xing Jing as Madame Rose Bongkoj Khongmalai as Pla Nathan Jones (ex-WWE Superstar) as T.K. Johnny Nguyen as Johnny Lateef Crowder as the Capoeira fighter John Foo (a League of Shadows thug in Batman Begins) as the Wushu fighter Synopsis Kham grew up helping his father raise the King of Thailand's elephants. But when his father is killed and two of his elephants are stolen, he travels to Sydney, Australia, in an attempt to recover them. There, he discovers that the elephant smuggling incident is just part of a wave of crimes orchestrated by a Chinese Triad group bent on taking over the streets of Australia. Lowdown Hot on the heels of the international hit Ong-Bak, martial arts superstar Tony Jaa returns to the big screen with another dose of nonstop Muay Thai action. But even with a bigger budget than Ong-Bak, does Tom Yum Goong deliver? Yes and no. The downside of this film is its cookie-cutter storyline. Never mind that most martial arts films have little or no plot. Tom Yum Goong's storyline is just a minor reworking of Ong-Bak, only with different characters and settings. Petchtai Wongkamlao, who co-starred with Jaa in Ong-Bak, plays a Thai-Australian cop. However, unlike in Ong-Bak, he brings no comic relief and really doesn't do much here. "So what's good about this movie?" you ask. The martial arts action, of course. As with what you've seen in Ong-Bak, Tom Yum Goong is filled with bone-crushing, tooth-knocking punches and kicks. In contrast to the agility displayed on Ong-Bak, Jaa focuses more on ground-based grapples and throws with his new-fangled twist on Muay Thai that he calls Muaykodchasarn. He uses this technique to dislocate arms and legs from dozens of thugs and put up fights against a Capoeira fighter, a Wushu fighter and 6'11", 360-lb. behemoth Nathan Jones. Despite being a rather serious martial arts film, there is one scene worth laughing at. When Jaa arrives at Sydney International Airport, he bumps into a Jackie Chan lookalike. Tom Yum Goong may not be Tony Jaa's best work, but it's still worth the price of admission and popcorn. Martial arts buffs should not miss this one. 17. So when's Bionic Six getting a DVD release?
  18. It seems that every year, for the past three years, SummerScam has been competing for the title of worst PPV of the year. Well, this year's event was no different, if not worse than the whole Goldberg screwjob of 2003. And to think I wasted a bottle of Bacardi 151 on this... WWE SummerScam Results Chavo Guerrero landed the frog splash on Rey Mysterio after Eddie's widow Vickie accidentally made Rey slip on the top ropes. ECW Championship Big Show chokeslammed Sabu through a table. Legend vs. Legend Killer Seriously, did you think Hulk Hogan would actually put Randy Orton over? "I Quit" Ric Flair made Mick Foley quit after Melina got herself involved in the match. World Heavyweight Championship Batista def. King Booker by DQ after Queen Sharmell interfered with the match. D-Generation X (Triple-H & Shawn Michaels) def. Vince & Shane McMahon via Pedigree on Vinnie Mac, despite early confrontations with the Spirit Squad, William Regal, Fit Finlay and Mr. Kennedy, as well as interference from Umaga (who ended up getting dragged to the locker room by Kane). WWE Championship - Edge can lose the title by DQ Edge used a set of brass knuckles on the back of John Cena's head to retain the title.
  19. WTF? Why does Prime look anorexic? And why does Starscream look like a freakin' Insecticon?
  20. Didn't WWE learn from See No Evil's reviews that they're in no position to make movies?
  21. The rent-a-racer will now be available at most Ford dealers. 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT
