  1. And for your viewing pleasure, here's the GT-R: 2008 Nissan GT-R
  2. Holy Crapola, Batman!
  3. For those who didn't get the Wal-Mart version... Transformers: Beginnings (Part 2) (Part 3)
  4. Smiley424, if you're still interested in a hatchback, you should test drive the Volvo C30. It's been getting numerous rave reviews from magazines here and in Europe.
  5. Another new supercar from the UK. The numbers are very impressive. And no, it's not named after that long-haired male model. 2008 Farbio GTS
  6. I did say, "sports car," not "sedan." Besides, isn't the Grand Prix available only in Auto?
  7. If you're gonna buy an RX-8, 6-Speed is the only way to go. Automatics on sports cars are as lame as people who don't know how to drive stick.
  8. For those who didn't know, director Panna Rittikrai made his film debut in the original Born to Fight. Even though that film is over two decades old, it's just as insane as the new one. Here are some sample clips: The Original Born to Fight Bar Room Brawl Ending Fight And for good measure, here's the truck scene from the new film:
  9. I'd go for the Mazda 3, as it has more bang for the buck (more standard features and a more robust engine) than any of the Hondas. Don't even touch the Lancer unless it's an EVO (or the upcoming Ralliart edition).
  10. Yeah, and seriously, WTF is with the TF bedsheets? I'd like to see the owner try to pick up chicks and bring them to the sleeper.
  11. "Bestest?" What kind of word is that, drkstr00?
  12. I'm surprised to hear that some Targets sold out of the transforming case. The one in Burbank still has dozens. It's Best Buy a few blocks away that's hurting, as they're completely sold out of the Robot Heroes gift pack and the metallic Voyager Class Ratchet & Megatron.
  13. Yesterday, my co-worker rented the DVD for his son's birthday party. And apparently, Brawl is still called "Devastator." Even on DVD, they couldn't get it right.
  14. Goddammit! And I just got a shipping confirmation from Wal-Mart today.
  15. I'm a bit skeptical about the use of Dinobots in the sequel. It would be great to see them as old-school mechanical dinosaurs, but something tells me the producers are taking the Beast Wars route by making them real dinosaurs and recycling Jurassic Park effects.
  16. The poll has been revised to add further exclusive versions; so if you voted for either of the last two, you may vote again.
  17. I got Fast Action Battlers Bumblebee a few days ago. For a toy suited for younger children, it's well-designed. It's the best looking among all the FAB figures released in the series. Unfortunately, the plasma missile didn't want to lock into the blaster, so I returned it. The store clerk at Toys "R" Us told me I wasn't the first one who had a problem with FAB Bumblebee. She mentioned that there was one with a missing front end and another with a head that wouldn't pop out. Sad to hear that the best looking FAB is the most problematic. Fast Action Battlers Plasma Punch Bumblebee Pros: Easy transformation, looks good in both modes. Cons: Faulty parts on some units.
  18. It's been announced on Variety that the sequel to Transformers will have a projected release date of June 26, 2009. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are expected to return as director and executive producer, respectively. Writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman will return as well, and will be joined by Ehren Kruger (The Ring) in writing the screenplay (Source: Los Angeles Times). In addition, Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Peter Cullen will reprise their roles as Sam Witwicky, Mikaela Banes and Optimus Prime, respectively (Source: MTV Movies Blog). What will we see in the sequel? Bay wants a transforming aircraft carrier. Orci and Kurtzman want Dinobots in as previous visitors to Earth. Producer Tom DeSanto wants Constructicons and Soundwave thrown in as well (Source: Wikipedia). Production will begin sometime next year, despite the planned Hollywood Film Strike happening next June. Now, to get the ball rolling, which Autobots/Decepticons do you want to see in the sequel?
  19. And now, a blast from the past... And file this under "Where Are They Now?"... Demolition in 2007
  20. It ain't WHAM! without the "Choose Life" T-shirts. BTW, mpchi, you're confusing WHAM! with Culture Club.
