  1. Yeah, that's a nice costume. BTW, Zinjo, if you're commenting on one picture, don't quote all three of them. It's inconvenient for others to have to scroll through the same pictures just for a single-line reply.
  2. I just finished watching the first two episodes. The storyline has a much darker tone than Initial D, and the characters are more mature. Character designs are somewhat on the ugly side, but less annoying than those of Initial D. As far as the animation goes, it's exactly like Initial D: 4th Stage (and it's not just because they're animated by the same company), with its extensive use of cel-shaded CG for the cars. The S30 Devil Z looks stunning. On the downside, Wangan Midnight's music is hard to define. Initial D stuck with Eurobeat, and it's worked over the years. Those who played the Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune arcade game series will be disappointed by the fact that the anime does not use rave music. Instead, it uses generic-sounding J-Pop and J-Rock BGM with some Eurobeat leftovers. Other than that, the opening theme by TRF is very catchy. Is Wangan Midnight better than Initial D? You can't really compare both, as they both have completely different styles of street racing. They're both worth watching, but if you're tired of seeing that white AE86 Trueno a billion times, try a blue S30 for a change.
  3. Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2 is a fun game, despite its flaws (namely its horrendous amount of Engrish). The highway races are a rush, but the Hakone course is a weak attempt at competing with Initial D. Another problem with the game (at least in the international version) is the Blackbird. Instead of a Porsche 911 Turbo, the Blackbird is a Nissan 350Z. Stupid copyright restrictions...
  4. I've had my YF-19 since May, and I've had no problems with it (other than the gun pod alignment problem in fighter mode). Haven't gotten a chance to buy the Booster set yet, though.
  5. Yes, it's the Saturn Sky, but with a better badge (and a flame paint job on the doors). 2008 Königseder Opel GT'Aime

  13. And here's one of my favorite songs from Guitar Hero III: Muse - "Knights of Cydonia"
  14. Well, that's their first taste of real rock music. My only problem with the playlist is that there's too much grunge crap in it. Oh yeah, and Rock Band doesn't have DragonForce. Of course, Guitar Hero III doesn't have Faith No More, so that makes it equal in my book.
  15. Speaking of Manga Entertainment dubs, here's another classic:

  18. Nobody likes you either, especially when you quote all those pics just to say that. Baka.
  19. Koenigsegg jumps on the limited edition bandwagon with their limited edition CCX and CCXR. And they're asking for somewhere between €1,330,000 & €1,500,000. That's almost the price of two Bugatti Veyrons! 2008 Koenigsegg Edition
  20. For those who picked up Rock Band, what are the best songs on the playlist to play on guitar or drums?
