As far as value goes, the Stealth Launcher Tumbler is already overpriced. The Tumbler released for the last film was $5 less, but was much more detailed, had better features and was more durable.

Stealth Launch Batmobile Toy Review

Yeah, it's called steroids.

See, I don't know why Mattel insists on throwing us crap vehicles that aren't even in the movie such as a Batcycle, Attack ATV or Batcopter. They should've just given us a simple Batpod. Not one that comes in a crappy Tumbler shell or an oversized launcher with a rip cord. And so, I'll just stick with my good ol' Tumbler from Batman Begins.
-
There is one out for around $30 at Target and Wal-Mart, but the Tumbler looks like crap. Don't know if the Batman figure can be detached from the Batpod, though.

GM put the Camaro SS around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and scored a lap time of 8 minutes 20 seconds. So what does that mean? Here are a few cars that scored lap times on that same track: 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 - 7:26.4 (manufacturer's claim; corrected time: 7:27.3) 2009 Nissan GT-R - 7:29.03 2005 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 - 7:40.0 2007 BMW M3 E93 - 8:05.0 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS - 8:20.0 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - 8:22.0 This means it's only two seconds faster than a turbocharged FWD 4-banger Chevy.

2010 Camaro Officially Unveiled

Last year, Harmonix, MTV Games and EA Games gave RedOctane, Neversoft and Activision a bloody nose with Rock Band, which has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide. Starting this September, both Rock Band and Guitar Hero franchises are gearing up for round 2. Here's a look at what's to come with both sequels: Rock Band 2 Gameplay remains the same, but Band Tour mode has been tweaked, so that a player's band doesn't require all four players. Also, a Freestyle mode will be available for those who want to play the drums with their favorite MP3 songs. And then, there are the songs: List of songs in Rock Band 2 Finally, after years of making requests, fans get to play an AC/DC song in the form of "Let There Be Rock." And if you want to really test the durability of your drum kit, try playing Judas Priest's "Painkiller." Guitar Hero World Tour "If you can't beat them, copy them." And that's what RedOctane, Neversoft and Activision are doing with the latest installment in the Guitar Hero series. The new game will feature 4-player gameplay with the addition of a microphone and drum kit. RedOctane's new guitar controller will feature a touchpad below the fret buttons so players can do sustains, staccato and tapping. The new wireless drum kit features velocity sensitivity sensors (which allows players to alter the drum sounds) and a MIDI port to give players the ability to play double bass. The final song list hasn't been released yet, but it will include Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher," Jimi Hendrix's "The Wind Cries Mary" and Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way." The developers have confirmed that all of the songs in the game will be master recordings. What will probably be Guitar Hero World Tour's ace in the hole is the "Advanced Studio" mode, where players can create their own songs and share them with friends online. There's also Konami's Rock Revolution, but quite frankly, they're no match for the other two, not to mention that the songs on that game are all covers. So which music game are you most excited about?

History of MacrossWorld...
areaseven replied to Sulendil Ang's topic in MW Site News & Member Feedback
Once upon a time, there was a place on the internet called a Usenet newsgroup, where Macross fans converged to talk about the series. Then, one day, a couple of pen pals named Shawn (from the San Diego, CA, area) and Graham (from Hong Kong) decided to take their love of Macross and put it on the World Wide Web. [Cue music: "The Wings" by Gustavo Santaolalla] Once Macross World went online, more fans showed up, sharing pictures of their collections. And then, on July 2001, the very first Macross World Convention was hosted in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. Since then, Macross fans have traveled great distances to show off their collections, buy & sell rare merchandise, watch Mari Iijima perform live, and play some poker. And they all lived happily ever after. -
Wow...he's got his own town, river and province? I wonder how The Dark Knight will do over there.

The Target near my place has about a dozen Deep Space Starscreams in stock. Anyone here interested in one?

I don't know - it's just that it's trying too hard to look like the Jaguar XF. But then again, the XF ended up looking like a mash-up between a Maxima and a Lexus sedan. Nice use of Infiniti parts for the interior, though.

Obviously, this car will not beat an Ariel Atom, but it's a lot cooler than the Caterham Seven. 2008 KTM X-Bow

I'm gonna have to agree with the staff over at Spill.com. The Dark Knight is Better Than Sex!

The trailer looks amazing. Definitely on my must-watch list for next year.

Why? Anything wrong with the GTO? I agree that it would be a tough decision. On one hand, the GTO is a rarity on the road. Of course, its design doesn't scream Muscle Car, but the performance is exceptional. On the other hand, the G8 GXP is faster and has four doors. So if it's a family thing, parting with the GTO may be painful, but the G8 would be the better choice.

The GT-R is supposed to cost $70,000, but given the amount of hype, expect a dealer markup by up to $10 grand. Speaking of the M3, Car and Driver actually rated it higher than the GT-R on their latest issue (on a 3-way comparison with the Porsche 911 Turbo, which finished third).
