  3. Yup, this is one movie that the critics got completely wrong. X-Men: Apocalypse may not be as good as the two previous installments, but it makes up for its shortcomings with its non-stop action and amazing visuals. Despite not being his best performance, Oscar Isaac plays a very intimidating Apocalypse. The new cast also does a great job, especially Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. And I couldn't agree more with Jubilee... Oh yeah, this seals the deal on Quicksilver's sequence... And here's how I rank the film: X-Men Cinematic Universe 1. Deadpool 2. X-Men: Days of Future Past 3. X-Men: First Class 4. The Wolverine 5. X2 6. X-Men 7. X-Men: Apocalypse 8. X-Men: The Last Stand 9. X-Men Origins: Wolverine All Marvel Films (Including Icon Comics) 1. 4. Just a few days ago, Michael Bradley, who played Yellow Dancer, posted this rant on his FB profile: "Yay! Another throwback Thursday! Harmony Gold released this in 2015... I have not received one single cent. At least 20 songs of mine on this latest release. I've received dozens of emails from fans (mostly from South America) saying they bought this and can't wait until the next time I tour, so I can autograph this for them. Love the fans... but I'm not autographing this CD. Or any CD for which HG has not paid me and Steve Wittmack our royalties. But I'll autograph anything else... just nothing from Harmony Gold. I hope you all understand."
  5. Finally got my first-ever PG kit. Will probably complete this before Christmas.
  6. From Shane Black (Hawkins in Predator) comes The Nice Guys, a love letter to '70s buddy action-comedy films starring Russell Crowe (Hando in Romper Stomper, SID 6.7 in Virtuosity) and Ryan Gosling (The Driver in Drive, Julian in Only God Forgives). The film opened this weekend in the U.S. and has garnered a lot of praise from critics, quickly rivaling Black's 2005 cult film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Official Site Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 90% - "The Nice Guys hearkens back to the buddy comedies of a bygone era while adding something extra courtesy of a knowing script and the irresistible chemistry of its leads." Metacritic Score: 70 out of 100
  7. Kinda disappointed that they went with the Bawoo, as it already has an HGUC kit. They should've stuck with the original trend of making Gunpla kits that are too obscure for mainstream.
  8. Movie Nation Review: Approaching the Unknown 2 out of 4 stars "I liked the practicality of the spaceship, and Strong’s performance. But 'Approaching the Unknown' feels incomplete. The drama comes from situations that are old hat — 'Approaching the Overfamiliar.' The third act is straight-up recycling which any classic sci-fi film fan will recognize. Rosenberg is nobody’s idea of a 'Star Child'." - Roger Moore, Movie Nation
