  1. Just wondering, where was Stan Lee throughout the entire film? No Marvel film (even the crappy ones like Daredevil and Fantastic Four) wouldn't be such without him.
  2. Old news. I read about this on Wizard magazine last Christmas. According to the article, Al Simmons is dead for good, as he realizes that no matter how many times he goes to hell and back, he'll never be with Wanda again. So instead, McFarlane is to introduce a new Spawn.
  3. Yes, it is. Unfortunately, it's still a weak movie. Too many plot loopholes to name, weak character development and awfully cheap CG effects make this one strictly a rental.
  4. Wow...I'm surprised no one mentioned this film when it came out in theaters on February. Just as Detroit Rock City was to KISS fandom, Fanboys is a satire on Star Wars fandom as well as a parody of the film franchise's elements. Fanboys is a film about a group of Star Wars fans in 1998 who make an attempt to break into Skywalker Ranch to obtain an early print of Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The film stars Sam Huntington (Jam in Detroit Rock City, Jimmy Olsen in Superman Returns), Chris Marquette (Alex in The Mummy: The Animated Series), Dan Fogler (Zeng in Kung-Fu Panda), Jay Baruchel (Kevin in Tropic Thunder), Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Christopher McDonald (Mansley in The Iron Giant, Shooter in Happy Gilmore). In addition, the film features cameo appearances by Carrie "Princess Leia" Fisher, Billy Dee "Lando Calrissian" Williams, Ray "Darth Maul" Park, Jason Mewes & Kevin Smith (a.k.a. Jay & Silent Bob), Seth Rogen (Master Mantis in Kung Fu Panda, B.O.B. in Monsters vs. Aliens) and Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner. Fanboys hits DVD shelves on May 19. Fanboys
  5. Do we really need another Yukikaze thread? http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=4489
  6. Not that I cared much for Nirvana, but this cover is revolting. Oh, how Tarja has fallen after Nightwish fired her four years ago... Tarja Turunen "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (Nirvana cover)
  7. Believe me, he's a real prick in person. Me and MilkManX had the misfortune of bumping into him when we met Tom Bateman at AX2003. I was 2 seconds away from punching his lights out, but I decided not to at the risk of being permanently banned from AX (like that Kamjin639 guy who pied Tommy Yune a couple of years ago).
  8. Oh, you don't know the half of it. On the old MW forums, he was constantly shooting his mouth about how RT was supposedly superior to everything else. Oftentimes, I bagged at his poor grammatical skills. Then one day, he posted a racist comment towards me, which infuriated the rest of MW and got him banned immediately.
  9. Simply because he's Kevin McKeever. Nobody posts racial comments and gets away with it like he does (except maybe on the old MW forums).

  11. As bad as Space Gandam V looks, it's still 100x better than Sentinels.
  12. This is hilarious... "Who thinks the originals are inferior to Robotech?"
  13. Actually, Jetfire was first released before Bandai acquired the 1/55 Valk molds from Matsushiro Toys (shortly after Takatoku went under), so associating Jetfire with DYRL is irrelevant.
  14. I don't know with you guys, but i'm craving for an In-N-Out Double Double right about now.
  15. I'd like to see Revoltech versions of Destroids, as well as the mecha and Vajra from Macross Frontier.
  16. Ferrari takes the 599 GTB Fiorano trackside. The 599XX is lighter and more aerodynamic than the street version. The naturally aspirated 6 liter V12 generates 700 bhp at 9,000 rpm. 2009 Ferrari 599XX
  17. True, but it's not meant to be a high-performance model like the F430 or 599 GTB Fiorano; it's more of a Grand Tourer. Still, it produces some impressive numbers, as Ferrari claims it does 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under 4 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. Ferrari California Specs
  18. This question was posted years ago, but for the newer members, here it is. We all know how defensive Harmony Gold is with the Macross name. But how are they with protecting the Robotech name?
