  1. You've heard about it. Now, watch it at your own risk! Transmorphers (with parody subtitles)
  2. If a new adaptation of The Saint (not that crappy 1997 film with Val Kilmer) is to be made in the near future, this is what Simon Templer should drive. 2009 VOX 1800 Renderings by Bo Zolland (Inspired by the Volvo P1800)
  3. If it's money the town wants, why don't they turn Batman (the hamlet) into a tourist spot dedicated to the Caped Crusader? After all, that's what the Trekkies did to Vulcan, Alberta, Canada. Oh yeah, and since the Turks love to make their own versions of American superhero and sci-fi movies, they should do their own Turkish Batman movie in - where else? - Batman.
  4. It's Johnny Mnemonic, NOT "Johnny Pnemonic", BTW. And it wasn't among Keanu's first films; Johnny Mnemonic was released years after Speed, so he was already within superstardom level. And yeah, movies involving computers tend to be outdated much sooner than expected. I get a good laugh out of GoldenEye when Natalya places an order on some computer units (was it 486 or Pentium? I forget.). Worse than Batman & Robin? I doubt it. And if you want a really bad Arnold movie, go rent an early VHS copy of Hercules in New York. Let's see if you can survive Arnold's dubbed voice... "A fine chariot, but where are the horses?"
  5. Do I have to bring up Resiklo again to prove you all wrong?
  6. That one is probably the only Tim Burton movie I regret watching. (Aside from that, I refuse to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).
  7. I had X-O Manowar #0 and Magnus Robot Fighter #25, as well as a random issue of Bloodshot, but the termites ate them. Unfortunately, they got half of my Marvel and Image collection as well.
  8. Now that this show is on the air, is anyone here actually watching it?
  9. Mayor of Batman, Turkey, Sues WB, Nolan As Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker used to say: "This town needs an enema!"
  10. As much as we like to rib Image Comics for being derivatives of Marvel characters, at least they didn't suffer the same fate as Valiant Comics. Back in 1992, Harbinger #1 was listed on Wizard at $150+ near-mint. Today, Valiant titles are no longer listed on Wizard, and Harbinger #1 isn't even worth a roll of Charmin. Now I'm hearing that Paramount has acquired the rights to adapt Harbinger to the big screen, with Brett Ratner (the guy who turned X-Men: The Last Stand into a train wreck) as director.
  11. R.I.P. Central Park Media (1990-2009) After years of financial turmoil (with a $1.2 million debt to creditors), CPM has filed for Chapter 7 and is now facing liquidation. Many of its titles such as Grave of the Fireflies and Now and Then, Here and There have found a new home in ADV Films. Unfortunately, ADV also decided to pick up M.D. Geist as well. God help us if they decide to use him as their logo and mascot...
  12. How much is it? Seeing that it's a NECA toy, I hope it doesn't have weak ankles like my 18" Cyborg Eddie (Iron Maiden) does.
  13. No need to worry anymore, as The Asylum has pulled The Terminators off their catalog. Looks like they've thankfully been legally threatened. Again.
  14. I agree. Sentinels has probably the worst animation drawn by man. It makes Space Gundam V look like Macross Zero.
  15. Any comments on the Universal Soldier sequels? Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms (1998, direct-to-video) Universal Soldier III: Unfinished Business (1998, direct-to-video) Universal Soldier: The Return (1999) BTW, there's a new one coming up called Universal Soldiers: The Next Generation. Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren will reprise their roles for this one. Also, this film disregards any of the sequels mentioned above.
  16. Wetworks was better, but not by much. As >EXO< mentioned, majority of Image's titles were clones of the artists' previous works with Marvel.
  17. Woohoo! Time to celebrate! Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na Hey hey, Goodbye!
  18. A new supercar emerges from Spain. The GTA Spano uses a supercharged version of the Dodge Viper's 8.3 liter V10, generating 780 bhp and 679 lb-ft torque. Weighing at 2,976 lbs, the Spano goes from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph. 2009 GTA Spano
  19. Maybe, but Omega Red was actually introduced after the Cold War (X-Men #4, January 1992).
  20. How about a 1/1 Ai-kun plush or bean doll? I'm surprised neither Bandai nor Banpresto have released such a thing.
  21. An update on Guitar Hero Smash Hits: Songs from Guitar Hero II have been announced. The best part is that Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird" and Mötley Crüe's "Shout at the Devil" made it on the list. Now to wait for the list of songs from Encore: Rocks the 80s.
  22. Yeah, why didn't they put Omega Red in this film? Makes more sense than Deadpool (who wasn't even a direct villain to Wolverine in the first place).
  23. Despite all the shortcomings, a sequel is said to be in the works. Who should be the next villain to face Logan? a. Silver Samurai b. Omega Red c. Sabretooth (again) d. The film's bastardization of Deadpool (again) e. Some other villain that's probably not related in Wolverine's storylines f. The Juggernaut (Why? Because he's The Juggernaut, b!tch!)
