Correct me if I'm wrong, but aside from the paint, Swerve has a different head sculpt. I was actually tempted to buy Swerve and a can of silver paint when I noticed that his head looked different.

The action was good for the most part, but the movie suffered from way too many plot loopholes you can jump your car through: 1. 2. 3. Why call this film The Rise of Cobra when 4. WTF is with the Night Raven being a Firefox ripoff? Overall, I thought Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a WAY better movie than this train wreck.

Grimlock is not bad, but the open space on his chest in T-Rex mode is an eyesore. And I keep him in T-Rex mode, as robot mode is traditionally not as popular. BTW, does anyone here have Shadow Blade Megatron?

In the midst of the massive closeout sale on all Animated toys, the toy store near my place actually had Leader Class Ultra Magnus in stock - and for $20! I was actually gonna pay full price for one at a hobby shop weeks ago. I must say that this is an awesome figure. Got great articulation and lots of hidden weapons. Of course, no figure is without its flaws. In the case of Magnus, he's unfinished. So I whipped out my paints and made him closer to the show version. I also experimented with a new metallic paint by Gunze Sangyo, and here are the results:

A toy store near my place has the Animated Voyager Class figures at under $15 each. Mostly Optimus Prime, Cybertron Mode Megatron, Bulkhead, Starscream and Lugnut, but they have Shockwave. Is he worth picking up? BTW, I noticed that there are two variants of Voyager Prime; one has a silver Autobot emblem on the left side. Is there a production difference? Also, can the same be said about those packaged in robot modes instead of vehicle modes?

Damn, just when I was about to buy an Animated Voyager Prime. Well, Wingblade Prime saved my wallet. And yeah - Bludgeon and Lockdown look awesome.

Picked up Animated Leader Class Megatron yesterday for under $20. Very show-accurate and surprisingly easy to transform. As usual, I'm drawing the panel lines, but I'm also painting the big Decepticon symbol purple over the clear red. Now all I need is a Voyager Optimus Prime (and a Deluxe Cybertron Mode version for his axe) to go duel with Megatron.
