Did anyone here bother to tune in to WWE or TNA on Monday night? Both shows dropped their own bombshells that night: TNA iMPACT! Hogan made his TNA debut, but at the same time, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean "X-Pac" Waltman made their return to the company as well. Hogan, however, will not join the group, as "it's a different time." WWE RAW After over 12 years, Bret "Hitman" Hart returned to the WWE ring to host the show. He also confronted Vinnie Mac and Shawn Michaels over the 1997 Montreal Screwjob. Apparently, both Hart and Michaels have buried the hatchet; Vinnie Mac, on the other hand, reminded fans he's Vinnie Mac by giving Hart a low blow.- 715 replies

Coming in 2010 is I Spit on Your Rave, yet another zombie comedy film following the runaway success of Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland. Set in 2018, six years after a virus brought upon the zombie apocalypse that wiped out the entire human population, the king of the zombies organizes a music festival to keep the bored flesh-eaters entertained. But the real story is the production of the film. With 4,026 actors and extras, the film has set a Guinness World Record of "Most Amount of Zombies Captured on Camera". I Spit on Your Rave

Worst Science Fiction Film of All Time
areaseven replied to JELEINEN's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
"And the moral of this story is this is not what to do if a bird sh*ts on you." - Bruce Dickinson Chemical Wedding (a.k.a. Crowley) Whoever said this was a good movie was either in complete denial or must have been on some bad drugs, because Chemical Wedding is simply one of the worst attempts at horror cinema ever. The acting is atrocious, the dialogue is pathetic, the special effects are laughable and the soundtrack is extremely random. Bruce Dickinson may be an excellent singer and songwriter, but just like Steve Harris on directing Iron Maiden videos, writing movie scripts is not for him. Even die-hard Iron Maiden fans should avoid this turkey. Rating: D- -
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Dead Man's Chest had its moments like introducing Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman crew, as well as the Kraken. It just wasn't as good as the first, as the cliffhanger ending seemed forced. And you're lucky not to have seen At World's End, as it was a huge pile of crap. Here's why:- 87 replies

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
areaseven replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That statement holds true for the Batman and Superman franchises, but on the contrary, more film franchises have had worse luck with the third installment - not necessarily in box office numbers, but in the story and critical reception. Aside from At World's End, here are other examples: Beverly Hills Cop III Shrek the Third Spider-Man 3 Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines X-Men: The Last Stand As for Rob Marshall directing this upcoming film, what credibility does he have outside of Memoirs of a Geisha and a few musicals (which I hope On Stranger Tides doesn't turn into)?- 87 replies

Shortly after the release of At World's End, the last (and weakest) of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, there have been talks of a possible fourth Pirates film. So far, here are the details gathered over the past year: * The new film will be a loose adaptation of the 1988 Tim Powers novel On Stranger Tides. Since the novel involves the Fountain of Youth, there should be no problem connecting it with the trilogy, as At World's End left off with Jack Sparrow and Barbossa venturing to search for the fabled fountain. * Geoffrey Rush will be reprising his role as Barbossa. * Keira Knightley is not interested in returning in the film as Elizabeth Swann-Turner. Same with Orlando Bloom, who played Will Turner in the trilogy. * Gore Verbinski was to have returned as the film's director, but he was busy planning out the film adaptation of the game Bioshock (which has been put on hold). Rob Marshall (Memoirs of a Geisha, Chicago) will take the director's chair instead. * Seeing that the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise is nothing without Jack Sparrow, Disney announced that Johnny Depp will be paid $55.5 million to reprise his role. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is currently in pre-production and is expected to be released before Disney's remake of The Lone Ranger (which also stars Depp). Hopefully, it will be much better than At World's End.

1314: "Pee" - The kids go to a water park, where Kyle realizes that people pee in the pool all the time and Cartman is distraught by the sight of so many minorities. Then suddenly, the amount of pee causes a tsunami that destroys the water park and renders the kids stranded while hundreds - including Kenny - drown. Cartman is separated from the other kids and is saved by the surviving minorities, making him believe he's the last of his species. As authorities outside struggle to find a means to rescue any survivors, Kyle must overcome his fear of pee in order to drain the park and return home. For the most part, this was a rather weak episode, considering that it focuses on three topics: 2012, racism and watersports. The scenes where the scientists piss on monkeys (and Randy) were just brain-dead stupid. Probably the only funny part was one reference to The Abyss. Otherwise, this episode will leave viewers pissed-off. "Eat your banana, or we'll have to put you down!"

At least in The Incredibles, the next villain introduced himself before the end. The ending of Astro Boy was just poorly executed,
