Ramirez: "The horse is yours." MacLeod: "What?" Ramirez: "You work for me now. You think I'd let you roll in a Hyundai?" MacLeod: "Nice sword. What's the retail value of it?" Random Immortal: "More than you can afford, pal. Claymore." Ramirez: "Smoke 'em."

Well, what do you know? I've had the exact same hinges fail on me (at least on the left). I managed to save it with minute quantities of super glue.

It's been announced that the Highlander franchise will be rebooted with a new film titled Highlander: The Reckoning. But this time, it will be produced by Neal H. Moritz (The Fast and the Furious series) and directed by Justin Lin (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Fast & Furious). Here's an excerpt from an interview with Moritz on the reboot: Exclusive - Producer Neal H. Moritz on Highlander Reboot The film is currently in development hell

I forgot to mention that the Cygnet will be offered only to existing Aston Martin owners. Not too long ago, me and a group of friends talked about this and one of them said that maybe an AM owner will buy one for his wife. Yeah right! A self-respecting DBS owner would simply give his wife a V8 Vantage. To give her a Cygnet would probably result in a divorce. -
Dude, does Hollywood pay attention at all?

I noticed something - historically, the third installment of a film series has almost always been the worst of the bunch, or otherwise has led the whole series to a painful demise. Here are a few examples: Alien 3 Austin Powers in Goldmember Batman Forever Beverly Hills Cop III Blade: Trinity Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles Death Wish 3 Die Hard with a Vengeance The Godfather Part III Home Alone 3 The Karate Kid, Part III Jaws 3-D Jurassic Park III Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome The Matrix Revolutions The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor The NeverEnding Story III Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Rambo III Resident Evil: Extinction Rush Hour 3 Shrek the Third Spider-Man 3 Superman III Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines X-Men: The Last Stand Of course, there have been a few exceptions such as: Back to the Future Part III The Enforcer Goldfinger Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban The Good, The Bad and the Ugly Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors Rocky III Star Trek III: The Search for Spock Will Transformers 3 suffer from the "third movie syndrome"? -
Close, but no cigar. "Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent." - Cary Elwes

Seriously, would James Bond drive such a thing? It's the Cygnet, Aston Martin's answer to Europe's demand for companies to comply with stricter emissions regulations. In reality, it's a Toyota iQ with a new front end and leather interior. And since it wears the Aston Martin badge, it's not cheap. Prices will start at £30,000 - roughly the price of four Toyota iQs. 2009 Aston Martin Cygnet Concept -

Though the Tab B broke on mine, I have no regrets on buying the 1/72 YF-19 v1.0. If anything Macross-related, my buyer's remorse was on the flimsy Banpresto transforming VF-1. I'd also mention the 1/65 Fire Valkyrie, but mine's a $10 bootleg, so no big loss there.

Like I said earlier, no one can compare to Cary Elwes. Sure, Russell Crowe is too old to be Robin Hood, but would you rather have Kevin Costner?
-
Meh. Cary Elwes will always be the best Robin Hood.

Speaking of Perfect Grade, how come Bandai hasn't made any non-Gundam PGs as of late? After all, the model kit line did not start with Gundam (EVA-01 was the first).

Here's some retro J-Pop for you all. This is Mari Hamada, who was a sort of J-Metal goddess back in the '80s. In 1993, she released an album with nearly all the songs in English. Here are a couple of songs from Introducing...Mari Hamada. "I Have a Story to Tell" "Hold On (One More Time)"

It's called the Gran Coupe because BMW is attempting to jump into the 4-door coupe bandwagon already occupied by the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class, the Aston Martin Rapide and the fugly Porsche Panamera.
