The more reason why it's perfect for RT.com's store catalog.

Just came back from watching this on IMAX and I must say it's much, much better than the third film. Granted, it's not as memorable as the first two, but it brought a fitting end to the franchise with its take on the "reset button" subplot. Probably the weakest aspect of the film is the Pied Piper, who just looks like he was added at the last minute, as he really doesn't so anything worth mentioning. Also, a lot of key characters such as Gingy and the Three Blind Mice have significantly smaller roles. Though initially rumored to appear during production, Lord Farquaad is not in this film. King Harold (played by John Cleese) croaked on the third film, but as flashbacks play a huge factor in this film, he's in this one. Arthur, thankfully, is not here, given that he was one of the reasons the third film sucked badly. As far as the animation goes, it's much better than the third, but there isn't anything new about it. The effects are very good in 3D, though. So if you were pissed off by Shrek the Third, this film will make up for the lost time.

This is to remove any oily residue on the parts, which will potentially ruin a paint job. When parts are molded, the casting molds are coated with a thin, greasy layer for the parts to slide off of them, much like how pots and pans are coated with Teflon [tm] to keep food from sticking.

You forget, this is HG we're talking about. Since when did they ever have a sense of taste?

So far, this film has been getting higher reviews than the third one, but the critics still don't like it. 55%

Well, that didn't take long: Revoltech Transforming VF-1 @ RT.com

If you don't mind parts-formers, then go for it. However, the VF100's line has received mixed reviews over here due to loose joints and the cumbersome need to swap parts between transformation. For the price, it's just not worth it. The VF100's line began with the VF-25 and ended with it, as the line is pretty much a failure.

I see. Well, here's some info: Carly Witwicky In G1, Carly was Spike's girlfriend. They eventually got married after season 2, and by season 3, they had a son named Daniel. -

You've never watched G1, have you? -
Maybe because implants are mandatory in that era.

And so, by popular demand (and for those who haven't seen them yet)...

Just got the HG Gundam 00 1/144 0 Gundam and Gundam Exia Repair II and I must say that I'm very impressed. The 0 Gundam may have very minimal accessories, but its level of articulation is insane and its simple design is a perfect homage to the old RX-78-2. I have to say that it's easily the best 1/144 kit I've assembled. On the other hand, I'm a little disappointed by the Gundam Exia Repair II. Lots of very loose parts and one of the clear lenses will not fasten into the left leg. It's also a drag to see that half of the box contents remain unused, as they're of the regular Exia model. Now to get a couple of Action Bases to replicate the final episode...

Holy crap! That redhead from Quantum of Solace is replacing Megan? That's actually good news. -
I know how you feel, but if you look at Hollywood's box office numbers, you'll see that screaming teenage girls pretty much run the film industry's economy. So if HG/WB makes the RT LAM a vampire chick flick (okay, not necessarily vampire, but you get the point), they can lure all the screaming teenage girls into the theaters and make bank big-time. Well, it's either that or make the LAM a porno flick. Those are the only two ways it will make money.

Dude, HG should hire you as one of their script writers.

Forgot to mention that I have detailed pics of the YF-10 toy at the Astro Plan thread.

zephon, care to comment on the picture you quoted?

But that's not the point, as The O is a MG kit, and it's the price of 3-5 MG kits.

The hinge on mine actually failed before I even attached the armor. So it's not a weight issue; just poor-quality plastic.

It looks like he doesn't post on RT.com, at least within the past month. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he posted here more often than there.

Maybe because he dropped the soap in a shower full of guys he thought were Macross fans.
