  1. 2011 Ford Mustang GT vs. 2011 BMW M3 On paper, it's a very unlikely matchup. But in the end, it just proves that the Mustang can go head-to-head with the M3 at nearly half the price.
  2. Sideshow Collectibles Optimus Prime Exclusive Limited Version and Price Announced - $1,199, you say?
  3. Wait - aren't we forgetting something? If I remember right, Small Wonder was Wanzerfan's favorite show of all-time.
  4. Very sad to hear of his passing. I never saw Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers or Paprika, but I really enjoyed Perfect Blue. R.I.P. Satoshi Kon.
  5. So we have a unanimous vote, then? Even this mock E! True Hollywood Story is funnier than that show. DISCLAIMER: Not the real Tiffany Brissette, who disappeared off the face of the Earth after the show was canceled.
  6. No Mary Jane in Reboot - Looks like they're focusing more on Gwen Stacy on this one.
  7. You know what the worst part about this film is? It's the ending. WTF was that all about?!?
  8. Sad part is that the show actually ran for four years.
  9. I think what Tony Jaa and the crew were trying to do was produce a historical epic to go head-on with Chinese martial arts films such as Three Kingdoms and Red Cliff. The concept was good on paper, but simply executed poorly. It would've probably worked as a stand-alone film series, but to have OB2 and OB3 as prequels to the first Ong Bak just doesn't make sense. Aside from Tony Jaa, the only relation between the three films is the statue of Ong Bak, which isn't even covered much in the prequel films.
  10. Ong Bak 3 ( องค์บาก3 ) Sahamongkol Film Co. Ltd., 2010 Magnet Films/Magnolia Home Entertainment, 2011 Directed by Panna Rittikrai (Born to Fight) and Tony Jaa Running Time: 100 minutes Rated R for graphic martial arts violence. Cast Tony Jaa (Ting in Ong Bak, Kham in Tom Yum Goong) as Tien Sihadecho Dan Chupong (Deaw in Born to Fight) as the Crow Ghost Sarunyoo Wongkrachang as Lord Rajasena Primrata Dejudom as Pim Petchtai Wongkamlao (Humlae in Ong Bak) as Mhen Nirut Sirichanya as Master Bua Synopsis After being captured by the evil Lord Rajasena, Tien is brutally tortured, bloodied and broken. However, Rajasena senses that a curse put upon him years ago will seal his fate very soon. Tien is spared from execution by order from a higher court, but his body is severely battered and only his soul can bring him back to the living. Lowdown Ong Bak 2 was a major letdown with its numerous plot loopholes and an anti-climactic cliffhanger. So does Ong Bak 3 solve all of the last movie's inconsistencies? Not really. The first hour may put you to sleep, as it deals mostly on Buddhism and karma, with little emphasis on martial arts. Then, after the first hour, Tony Jaa goes back to what he does best: breaking bones and throwing bodies everywhere. But still, all of the high-flying Muay Thai action doesn't save this film from complete obscurity. This movie could've done completely without all this supernatural crap happening between Jaa and lead villain Dan Chupong. Even worse is that Wire-Fu - a major no-no in Jaa's earlier films - is actually employed in the final battle. Despite being one of the most expensive productions in Thailand, Ong Bak 3 is a major letdown. And so, the "Third Movie Curse" continues. 11. The other day, I saw the Japanese Jetfire & Jetstorm at a hobby shop. Takara Tomy gave Jetstorm the Transmetals treatment (blue chrome). What were they thinking?!?
  12. Coming this November is an MMORPG based on the DC Universe. The official trailer was unveiled at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. DC, WB Games and Sony Online Entertainment appear to have thrown everything and the kitchen sink into this, with veteran artist Jim Lee serving as Executive Creative Director and some staff of EverQuest working with him. The voice cast is very extensive, with many voice talents reprising their roles from various DC animated titles: Kevin Conroy as Batman Mark Hamill as The Joker Adam Baldwin as Superman James Marsters as Lex Luthor and Brainiac Robert Patrick as Hawkman Jennifer Hale as Zatanna Summer Glau as Supergirl The setting of the game is present-day Earth, where a future version of Lex Luthor travels to warn all of the superheroes of his timeline, where all of the heroes and villains fell prey to Brainiac because they were too busy beating each other up. I'm not sure if it's worth playing, but this trailer is highly impressive.
  13. See, I don't even want to go there. I don't even know why Takara Tomy decided to give all of the figures a chrome/metallic finish. The matte finish on the original figures was perfect, as it matched the cartoonish designs; giving them metallic repaints just doesn't make sense.
  14. Didn't these guys learn the first time? Nobody is gonna spend $80K on a car with a VW badge. Volkswagen Phaeton Coming Back to the U.S.
  15. There's only been two versions of the original G1 Prowl: the 1984 release and the 2002 reissue. The newer 350Z Prowl you got is from the Transformers Universe Classics line.
  16. Well mate, if you want a BB that's show-accurate, the Hydrodrive is the way to go. Let's just hope that Hasbro will release it, even if it means it's a TRU exclusive. As far as Cliffjumper goes, I don't remember ever seeing him in a U.S. package. I've only seen the Japanese version.
  17. Peg is an excellent figure, but this is what Hasbro/Takara Tomy should have used as a basis.
  18. Now this is the Animated Bumblebee we should have gotten in the first place. Too bad it's most likely a Japan-only release, as the metallic paint clashes with the rest of my collection. Jet Pack/Hydrodive Bumblebee
  19. Yeah, the SPCA and PETA will hound you down if you do.
  20. Or worse, it would look like Kevin McKeever.
