I've been on the fence over both figures since they were first announced. Yes, the orange color on Terradive is annoying, but I really like the plane design. Eventually, I'll pick him up along with Jetblade when they're on sale. If there's one thing my Classics/Universe/Henkei collection is missing, it's a Decepticon - and one to display against Peg. Darkmount looks menacing, but I'm kinda not sure he's on equal footing with Peg. Also, reading the history of Straxus (a Marvel-exclusive Decepticon, who ruled a fortress called Darkmount) makes me wish Hasbro made a new Deluxe Blaster figure. Well I'll be damned. Now I'll need to buy one.

Does he have to approve the car? Did you have to quote all of those images for your one question? And BTW, it's spelled Carroll Shelby. EDIT: Since Wanzerfan has declined to explain himself on this thread, we can easily conclude that he is a complete douchebag. You can best believe that He's a Wanzerfan You always have to wonder Why he's not yet banned Hey! Hey! Hey hey hey! Managed to score a major haul today: Classics Bumblebee (used) Universe 2.0 Sunstreaker (used) Henkei Convoy (new) Henkei Convoy is definitely one of the best Optimus Prime figures ever made. Excellent detail and articulation while retaining his G1 design cues. Perhaps the only design flaws on this figure are the forearm kibble, but they're kinda cool as shields. If you find him at your hobby shop, get him for sure.

You know, it doesn't hurt to go back a couple of pages to find your answer. Now how does that size 13 taste?

How do you make the quickest thing on four wheels quicker? Drop in a V8 - that's what Ariel has done with the latest version of the Atom. That's right - this Atom is powered by a naturally aspirated 3 liter V8 that generates 475 bhp and 268 lb-ft torque. At the same time, it only weighs 1,213 lbs. As a result, it can do 0-60 in "under" 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 170 mph. Only 25 of these will be built at US$193,506 each. It's not as bad as Acura's new front-end designs. -
Sad news for Wanzerfan (as this was one of his favorite bands), though he probably won't cry as much as when one of the members of Boyzone died. Rich Cronin (LFO) Dies of Cancer at 35

Just got a second-hand Universe Prowl last night. Excellent articulation, but the door/front fender transformation is very fiddly; I almost consider this a parts-former because of those pieces. Also not impressed with the paint job, as the white paint is sticky and already fading out. Will eventually do a complete repaint and apply new dry transfer labels on the doors. BTW, I found a few more figures at my shop: Henkei/Gentei Astrotrain Cheetus (Cheetor) Dirge Grimlock Hound Inferno Skywarp Thrust I know Astrotrain is a must-buy, but what else on this list is worth picking up?

There's one other thing that bothers me about G1, and it's the amount of hits Optimus Prime takes to actually kill him. Here are some examples: Episode 6 "Divide and Conquer" - The seekers shoot the hell out of Prime, and right on the operating table, Laserbeak does further damage on him. Yet all Prime needs is a component part from Wheeljack's old laboratory, and he's good as new. Episode 16 "Heavy Metal War" - Megatron uses the combined abilities of all the Decepticons to defeat Prime in a one-on-one fight. That would have completely destroyed Prime, but according to Ratchet, he actually isn't hurt badly. And then we go to Transformers: The Movie. Optimus Prime gets impaled in the abdomen by a shard of debris thrown by Megatron, who then does further damage in the same spot with an energy sword. And then he shoots a laser pistol right on the damaged abdomen, and in a matter of several minutes, Prime is gone. What's wrong with this picture?

I never said that season 3 was incompatible/inconsistent with the movie. All I said was that Japan aired season 3 without the movie; thus causing a rift in the continuity of the franchise there.

Season 3 by itself is a complete mess, and I'm not just talking about the crappy animation. Perhaps the biggest inconsistency throughout the whole season is Optimus Prime. In episode 73 "Dark Awakening", Optimus Prime returned from the dead, but was actually a zombie controlled by the Quintessons as part of their plan to destroy the Autobots. However, in the end of the episode, a piece of Prime's conscience took over and he got himself killed again In episode 94 "The Return of Optimus Prime (Part 1)", a group of human scientists found the wreckage of Prime's ship and his body. What doesn't make sense is that Prime did a kamikaze run in the end of episode 73 and his ship was completely destroyed. Also, when the Quintessons shot at the ship, Prime lost an arm and parts of his head. Yet in this episode, Prime's body is intact. Has there been an explanation to the inconsistencies between the two episodes?

I recently picked up a second-hand Universe Sideswipe, and I am very impressed with the design, transformation and articulation. I should have focused on this line last year instead of Animated, but oh well. Anyway, my local hobby shop has a handful of Universe and Henkei Deluxe figures. Which ones are worth picking up? BTW, I'm currently on the fence over the Challenge at Cybertron gift set. It has Rodimus and Cyclonus, but at the same time, it has yet another crappy Galvatron figure. Should I still get it without thinking of how bad the Galvatron figure is?
