  1. Since majority of fighting game adaptations are sci-fi, I nominate the following (with #1 being the absolute worst of the bunch): Worst Live-Action Adaptations of Fighting Games 1. The King of Fighters (2010) 2. Double Dragon (1994) 3. Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) 4. DOA: Dead or Alive (2008) 5. Tekken (2010) 6. Street Fighter: The Movie (1994) 7. Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997) Worst Anime Adaptations of Fighting Games 1. Art of Fighting (1993) 2. Samurai Shodown (1993) 3. Tekken (1997) 4. Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer (1996) 5. Battle Arena Toshinden (1996)
  2. Yeah, you tell me. I think the whole "fans' choice" thing was fixed to prevent the Beast Wars fans from crying foul. Whatever.
  3. At this year's BotCon, Hasbro introduced the Transformers Hall of Fame. The inaugural inductees are as follows: Robots Optimus Prime Megatron Starscream Bumblebee Dinobot Dinobot was inducted as a "fans' choice", beating Soundwave, Grimlock, Jazz and Shockwave. Humans Peter Cullen Bob Budiansky Hideaki Yoke - Takara Tomy toy designer; created Megatron, Soundwave and Ravage. Kohjin Ohno - Takara Tomy toy designer; created the first transforming car toy (which eventually became Sunstreaker). Who would you like to see inducted at next year's TF Hall of Fame?
  4. Jaguar's latest concept vehicle, the C-X75, is a hybrid supercar powered by two mini-turbines and four electric motors that generate a total of 778 bhp and 1180 lb-ft torque. Theoretically, it can go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 205 mph. Pretty disappointing numbers, considering the technology it uses. (Quote-protected because Wanzerfan is still a dumbass.) 2010 Jaguar C-X75 Concept
  5. Wanzerfan listens to that? What a sick fruit that guy is.
  6. I just finished watching this movie and I must say that it makes Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li look like Inception. It makes Tekken and DOA: Dead or Alive look like The Godfather Parts I-II. It's so godawful, I can't give it an F, a bomb or a turkey. So I have devised the lowest possible rating. Rating:
  7. Just downloaded this movie. I haven't even gone past 40 minutes, and this has the biggest WTFs of all fighting game adaptations. More BS to come... WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!
  8. You should know. Besides, it was rumored that you starred in that movie, which doesn't surprise me at all..
  9. More like the whole planet and everybody on it.... Agreed.
  10. That's because Hasbro has a licensing deal with Lockheed Martin.
  11. Where's Megas XLR on that list? J/K
  12. This was already posted on the general TF super thread, but I thought I'd post it here, as it is related to this series. HubWorld Official Launch - Transformers: Prime Character Renders, Games and More
  13. Take your pick, then: Sora Aoi Jun Kusanagi Maria Ozawa Rio Hamasaki Mai Ly
  14. Here's a rundown of the cast: Sean Faris (Jake in Never Back Down) as Kyo Kusanagi Maggie Q (Nikita, Cao Ying in Three Kingdoms) as Mai Shiranui Will Yun Lee (Major Lo in Red Dawn) as Iori Yagami Ray Park (Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I, Snake Eyes in G.I. 15. Yes, it obviously sucks, but at least it gets points for Maggie Q. But is it better or worse than Tekken?
  16. No. Milly was voiced by Lia Sargent, who also did the voices of Dorothy in The Big O, all the variants of May in Hand Maid May, Claire in Planetes and Miyabi in Ai Yori Aoshi.
  17. Don't be such a hater because you're the only one on the boards that listens to boy bands while everyone else is into real music.

  19. After several years of being out of print, Trigun is back on DVD through Funimation Entertainment on November 16. Official Site
