  1. Of all the C&C babes, Jenny McCarthy is out of place - easily the worst version of Tanya. Dasha gets my vote. And here's the best Tanya ever.
  2. In 1995, Westwood Studios released Command & Conquer, which became one of the most popular real-time strategy game franchises of all-time. Taking elements from the game Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty, C&C popularized the concept of harvesting for resources, building structures and upgrading units. Since then, there have been numerous sequels and spin-offs, including the not-so-memorable Renegade first-shooter and the ever-popular time-traveling Red Alert series. During the mid-2000s, EA Games shut down Westwood Studios, casting doubt upon the C&C franchise. But all of that was put aside with the 2007 release of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars, as well as 2008's Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. While RA3 was notorious for luring in players using hot babes, C&C3 received critical acclaim and won numerous awards. Unfortunately, EA Games has killed the franchise this year with Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight. The final chapter of the Tiberian saga is marred mainly by two issues: 1) the requirement of an Internet connection to play the game at all; and 2) the elimination of Tiberium harvesting. As a result, C&C4 has been panned by both critics and long-time fans. And so, in memory of this RTS franchise, let's talk about Command & Conquer. First off, which is your favorite C&C game? Also, who's your favorite C&C babe?
  3. I miss the old days when MEMO cooked Carne Asada for the MW Cons...
  4. RT fans are probably gonna bitch about this coming out before their almighty LAM.
  5. Why not just call it Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots: The Movie instead?
  6. Definitely picking this one up. (Quote-protected to prevent Snail00 from cluttering up this thread further.)
  7. Back from the dead. Again. So who in here is watching The Voyage of the Dawn Treader?
  8. For your viewing pleasure, the New Stratos. 2010 New Stratos
  9. Sweet-N-Low, though there are other brands out there that also come in pink packets.
  10. Artificial sweeteners such as aspartame, Sweet-N-Low and Splenda. Stick to sugar. If you're concerned with your diabetes, then too bad.
  11. I just finished the first three episodes and thought I'd give my $0.02 on the series: - The pacing is rather slow compared to other TF shows. I know the emphasis is mostly on character development, but just like the live-action movies, Prime seems to put the spotlight too much on the kids. - I was expecting modern CGI animation after seeing tidbits of it on the trailers, but instead, the character animation looks no different from Beast Wars mixed with Re-Boot. - Why does Optimus' look young on this? His unmasked face doesn't mix well with Peter Cullen's voice. - I can actually get used to Steven Blum's version of Starscream. At least it shows that he can make his voice completely different from all of his anime roles (i.e. Cowboy Bebop, The Big O). - The Rock as Cliffjumper? I just don't see it. Who's the jabroni that came up with this idea?
  12. I liked it better when telephones still used cranks.
  13. Internet Explorer (especially - Undoubtedly the worst browser that's not AOL. Version 8 is supposed to be their fastest and "most secure", but while some websites I designed look fine on Firefox and Chrome, they are completely off-alignment and embedded videos don't appear on IE8. And this sucks, as majority of my company's clients use IE and my boss refuses to switch to Firefox or Chrome for that reason.
  14. The TRU and Toy Kingdom branches here have a massive closeout sale on the ROTF and HFTD figures, with not one, but two shelf-warmer superstructures on display: The Great Wall of Battle Hooks Optimus Prime (priced at Voyager level) and the Hanging Garden of Voyager Decepticon Bludgeon (priced at Deluxe level). Scouts are also priced at Legends level, but I'm still on the fence with buying either Ransack or Divebomb.
  15. It's not out yet, but the reviews are already positive (even higher than the first!). Rotten Tomatoes: 73%
  16. Unfortunately, they're still around, as there are still a bunch of idiots out there that check their mail and insert that CD of doom in their computer. But here's an interesting development. AOL Considering Merger with Yahoo!
  17. AOL - the single worst internet provider in the world. Also one of the biggest environmental threats (unless you like collecting coasters).
  18. Yes, iPod is The Devil. That's why I swear by SanDisk Sansa (proud owner of a 4GB e260 and an 8GB Fuze).
  19. Automatic parking systems. It seems that nowadays, people want cars, but don't want to learn how to drive.
  20. If you didn't go quote every singe image on your replies like you do on the Gundam Plamodel thread, you wouldn't have this problem.
  21. Uhhh... 1. It's no longer DaimlerChrysler, as Daimler AG abandoned Chrysler a couple of years ago. Chrysler is now mostly owned by Fiat. 2. Did you read the link? It's about the 300 sedan, not the Town & Country van.
  22. Chrysler takes its best-selling car (or otherwise the only car that made money for them) and gives it a makeover. The result is a design as exciting as a refrigerator. 2011 Chrysler 300 Preview
