  1. Wrong. Just about every Gunpla kit released over the past decade has been KO'd. You just need to look hard for that certain kit you need for spare parts.
  2. Well, it seems that this film's attempt at Chinese propaganda backfired in China, where it was heavily panned for Angelababy's lackluster performance, as well as shameless plugs of QQ and Mengniu milk. Seriously, didn't these guys learn from Transformers: Age of Extinction that Americans don't really drink that stuff? China Box Office: Summit Heist Pic Tops Sox Sci-Fi Flick
  3. I'm actually disappointed... that they didn't get the New Kids on the Block in that film.
  4. For those wondering about the HGUC Gyan Revive's compatibility with the HGBC Valuable Pod, it will work, but it's not 100% compatible. For the shoulder armor, you will need to do the following steps: 1. Disassemble the two main halves of each Valuable Pod shoulder armor and turn the inner round parts around so the peg holes will be in the same direction as the beam saber holders. 2. Remove the side caps of the Gyan's shoulders. 3. Fit the shoulder armor over the shoulders. They will be held only by friction, but it will be a snug fit. Also, as the shoulder armor is in purple, you may want to paint them to match the Gyan. Here are some pics, along with a cheap re-enactment of episode 23 of Gundam Build Fighters.
  5. Not at all. Looking at the list of SOCs released, that dubious honor would probably go to The Big O.
  6. Does Japan even care about Golion anymore? Or is this SOC mainly for American and international fans?
  7. I'm surprised no one's brought up the 1998 Lost in Space film with William Hurt and Gary Oldman. The TV reboot just needs to be slightly better than that film (and have someone as hot as Heather Graham) to be somewhat watchable.
  8. Amidst the numerous talks about yet the WWE's brand split, word out on the street is that the Hulkster is now in good terms with the company and he'll be back soon.
  9. What surprises me is the rather weak marketing of this film compared to the first. Back in 1996, FOX went all out into getting people to see ID4 - toys, video games, not to mention one of the first films to have its own website. Because of this, ID4 easily shattered box office records with US$50.2 million on opening weekend and a total earning of US$817 million. Resurgence hardly got much support aside from a few viral videos - no toys, no apps, and poor media-wide coverage. As a result, it's floundering at the box office, earning only US$41 million on opening weekend and getting a black eye by Finding Dory (and The Secret Life of Pets in the UK and Now You See Me 2 in China). Hell, we're already on its second weekend, and it still hasn't broken even on its US$165 million (plus marketing costs) budget. In fact, the film's already been pulled out of most theaters in my town to make room for The Legend of Tarzan. Maybe it broke sales records on IMAX markets and it will continue to premiere on other countries, but Independence Day: Resurgence is bleeding cash, and FOX is largely to blame for the weak marketing.
