  1. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E Type, an anonymous Swiss businessman has commissioned Vizualtech and freelance designer Robert Palm to create a one-off inspired by the iconic sports car. The Growler E 2011 Concept is built on a Jaguar XKR platform with a supercharged 5.0 liter V8 that generates 600 bhp. Estimated 0-60 acceleration is less than 4 seconds. It may be a one-off, but if there is enough demand, Vizualtech will build a limited number of the Growler. Growler E 2011 by Vizualtech

  3. On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 2: "This Planet's Worth" (この星の価値) Legends of the Week: Tohru Furuya (Ribbons in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Daisuke in Space Battleship Yamato) as Aka Red (voice) and Atsushi Hashimoto as Kai Ozu Villain of the Week: Action Commander Bongan Gokai Color of the Week: Red Past Sentai of the Week: Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger (Power Rangers SPD) and Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger (Power Rangers Ninja Storm) On their neverending search for the greatest treasure in the universe, the Gokaigers are told by Navi to look for someone dressed in black. They meet a middle-school student who steals Marvelous' Shinken Red Ranger Key. Marvelous puts the kid to the test by having him transform into Shinken Red and fight the Zangyack thugs all by himself. This series is really picking up now. We get some backstory on why Captain Marvelous is a space pirate. Plus, the Gokaigers slowly understand the value of Earth after a long argument with the kid. For this episode, the Gokaigers change into Dekaranger (Power Rangers SPD) and Hurricaneger (Power Rangers Ninja Storm). In an interesting twist, the Gokaigers also change into the Red Rangers of Shinkenger, Gaoranger (Power Rangers Wild Force), Magiranger, Goseiger (Power Rangers Megaforce) and Gekiranger (Power Rangers Jungle Fury). And finally, the mighty Gokaioh comes out to play in full form! My wallet's really gonna hurt this year... Easter Eggs 1. In the scene where the Gokaigers look for someone dressed in black, a Kuroko from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger can be seen in the background sweeping the ground. Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 3: "Changing Courage into Magic ~ Maagi Magi Go Gokai ~" (勇気を魔法に変えて~マージ・マジ・ゴー・ゴーカイ~) The Gokaigers encounter the former Magi Red.
  4. New DOTM Toy Images - The NASCAR Wreckers are looking good so far, despite having the stereotypical Redneck head sculpts.
  5. Good luck looking for Grimstone. I managed to get him as a Christmas gift from a co-worker.
  6. Unknown Studio Babelsberg/Dark Castle Entertainment/Warner Bros. Pictures, 2011 Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, House of Wax) Based on the novel Out of My Head by Didier Van Cauwelaert Running Time: 113 minutes Rated PG-13 for violence, suggestive sexual situations and strong language Cast Liam Neeson (Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia, tattoo artist in The Hangover: Part II) as Dr. Martin Harris Diane Kruger (Bridget in Inglorious Basterds, Abigail in National Treasure) as Gina January Jones (Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class, Betty in Mad Men) as Elizabeth Harris Frank Langella (Skeletor in Masters of the Universe, Perry White in Superman Returns) as Prof. Rodney Cole Aidan Quinn (President Grant in Jonah Hex, Benny in Benny & Joon) as Martin B Bruno Ganz (Hitler in Downfall and its countless parody videos online) as Ernst Jürgen Sebastian Koch as Prof. Bressler Mido Hamada as Prince Shada Synopsis Dr. Martin Harris and his wife Elizabeth arrive in Berlin, Germany, to attend a biotechnology summit. Then, when he realizes he forgot his briefcase at the airport, he takes a taxicab to go back and retrieve it - only to be involved in an accident that puts him in a coma for four days. When he wakes up, he discovers that he is not who he says he is, as somebody else has taken his name and identity while his wife does not know him. Lowdown It's Taken meets The Bourne Identity, as Liam Neeson proves he can deliver a powerful action/suspense performance in his late-50s. Unknown is a tale of mistaken identity, with Neeson as Martin Harris, a man struggling to prove to everyone who he is after surviving a horrific car crash. There are lots of unpredictable twists in the plot, right to the end. Despite being derivative of The Bourne Identity, the storyline is very well thought-of. Just like Taken, Neeson takes the Charles Bronson approach in no-nonsense action, despite some stunts that may seem implausible. Of course, January Jones is there mostly as eye candy. Diane Kruger delivers a remarkable performance as Gina, a Bosnian cabbie who tries to help Martin while avoiding possible risks of deportation. Also landing a solid role is Downfall Hitler himself, Bruno Ganz, as a private investigator who unravels the secrets behind Martin's stolen identity. If there are any flaws in this movie, one would be the pacing. Some parts of the middle of the film can seem bogged down by too much dialogue. Another general fault is the blatant product placement by Mercedes-Benz - from the older E-Class taxicabs to Prince Shada's SLS AMG. But that's just for nitpicking purposes, so don't mind it at all. In short, If you enjoyed Neeson's performance in Taken, you won't be disappointed with Unknown. Even though it gives you the feeling that you've seen this movie before, it's still an enjoyable thriller. Rating: B Links Official Unknown Homepage References The Internet Movie Database Wikipedia
  7. So what else is new with that racist jackass?
  8. What an intense race yesterday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHNy-30TESI
  9. Yeah, I was gonna buy the Longstrike, but I realized that it uses the same Recon mechanism and the firing distance is lousy, especially since it's supposed to be a sniper rifle.
  10. USAF? I didn't know the Air Force operated on aircraft carriers. I don't get it. RT aired on TV in 1985 while Top Gun hit theaters in 1986. Oh, that explains it.

  13. Now this is how to make a Captain America trailer.
  14. Back from the dead! Here's a classic clip from the Magiranger vs. Dekaranger movie:
  15. In that case, why did they have Jollibee sell RT toys in kids' meals last year?
  16. Lawler is still doing color commentary for RAW. Jim Ross retired from commentating and is now more active behind the scenes with talent scouting, development and payroll.
  17. I got a chance to see this entire segment. Great to see The Rock behind the mic again. And Michael Cole as a heel announcer? I just don't see it. Not as convincing as Jonathan Coachman. Speaking of which, Coachman should quit ESPN and return to WWE. And while we're at it, WWE should bring back Kevin Kelly. That way, The Rock can call Kevin Kelly an ugly hermaphrodite and make Coachman admit to making out with farm animals on a weekly basis, just like the old days.
  18. Looking at these old trailers, I can see why Robotech: The Movie was a failure. Really lame presentation and editing.
  19. Regardless of which, both the BMW X6 and Acura ZDX are hideous and do not serve their purposes at all. Just watch this Top Gear segment.
  20. Wrong. If we're talking about all-time records, Voltes V was the one that made the biggest impact in the Philippines. If we're talking about the '90s, it's probably a tie between DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho (known in the Philippines as Ghost Fighter). Star TV had RT back in the 1990s. Star Plus (the predecessor of Star World) aired RT in its entirety, while the Star Chinese Channel aired Macross and Mospeada dubbed in Mandarin. EDIT: On a side note, a travel show on the Star Chinese Channel used an instrumental version of "Sunset Beach" for their opening and ending theme.
  21. Here's one of the best Rock moments (not for Sacramento residents!).
  22. Meanwhile, WWE Films is premiering their latest movie this Friday, which stars Triple H. Expect it to get Pedigreed on opening weekend. The Chaperone
