  1. That video was what got me onto youtube. Cool!
  2. I'm surprised that someone actually came up with this.
  3. I'm hoping the badass Ro-Bear Berbils make an appearance later on in the series.
  4. You know, I've completely underestimated this new version. I'm not gonna say it's better than the original, but unlike other recent remakes/reboots/sequels, this new ThunderCats series holds its own.
  5. Back from the dead. If you haven't seen the FX TV edit, you missed out on the best line ever.
  6. It must be so awesome that there's two threads for it. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=33977&view=findpost&p=876100&hl=redline&fromsearch=1
  7. Does anyone here have this DVD? The Very best of WCW Monday Nitro - Hosted by Diamond Dallas Page
  8. That's a general mecha forum, not a dedicated Gundam forum.
  9. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 52% - Obviously, not enough critics saw it. Maybe by next week, it will go down further.
  10. - What two Transformers could possibly be worse?
  11. That doesn't look bad at all, but who'd be mad enough to buy it?
  12. That's actually really good. Take some pics of them at the show.
  13. Last year, my brother almost bought that, but when the sales guy demoed it out of the box, the cocking mechanism jammed even without the magazine inserted. It's not even useful as a flashlight. In the end, my brother got the Alpha Trooper instead. And the only way you can make the Facepalm CS-6 is to spend extra time and money on modding it.
  14. Golgo 13: Kuron no Kubi (ゴルゴ13 九竜の首) Toei Company, Ltd., 1977 BCI Eclipse, 2006 (Bundled with The Bullet Train and Virus in the Sonny Chiba Action Pack) Directed by Yukio Noda Based on the manga character by Takao Saito Running Time: 93 minutes Rated R for graphic violence, nudity, sexual situations and profanity. Cast Sonny Chiba (Takuma Tsurugi in The Street Fighter series, Hattori Hanzo in Kill Bill Vol. 1) as Duke Togo/Golgo 13 Callan Leung as Detective Smith Jerry Ito as Polansky Etsuko Shihomi (Li Koryu in Sister Street Fighter) as Lin Li Synopsis Golgo 13 is hired by an American crime syndicate to take down Chou Lei Fang, the leader of the syndicate's Hong Kong branch who has gone rogue by selling their drugs through his own channels. He also has to keep an eye out for Detective Smith, a hard-boiled Hong Kong detective who will stop at nothing to put Chou behind bars before Golgo 13 completes his mission. However, when someone else puts the hit on Chou before Golgo 13 pulls the trigger, the assassin must find the mastermind behind the incident. Lowdown For years, I had skipped this movie because I thought there was no way Golgo 13 could be properly adapted into live-action. Putting the character into anime was a hit-or-miss deal: Golgo 13: The Professional (1983) was so-so, Golgo 13: Queen Bee (1998) was absolute crap, and the 2008 TV series had its moments. So I got bored one night and decided to check out this movie. Damn, was I wrong. Sonny Chiba as Golgo 13 is like Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man - he fits the role like a glove. He already had that glassy stare made famous in The Street Fighter, so all he needed were the sideburns and bushy eyebrows to complete the look. And as a character with very few words, Chiba's performance will have you convinced he is Golgo 13. As for the storyline itself, it's much better than the anime storylines, but that's not saying much. Just about everything in a Golgo 13 story is here - sex, guns and Golgo 13 doing impossible shots from just about anywhere. Callan Leung as Detective Smith provides a good counterbalance as the other lead character. And though her role is very short, female martial artist Etsuko Shihomi delivers an excellent fight scene after the film's beginning. The music is also pretty good, especially the epic opening theme. Overall, until someone actually comes up with a better movie, this is the way a Golgo 13 movie should be. Rating: B+ References The Internet Movie Database
  15. But kids don't like toys anymore. They like video games, Facebook and iPods. Toys don't satisfy them anymore when it comes to lights and sounds.
  16. Wiesmann - quite possibly the most gorgeous roadster ever created by man. And the new Roadster MF5 is no exception. Powered by a 4.4 liter twin turbo BMW V8 that generates 555 bhp and 502 lb-ft torque, it's heavier than the standard Roadster MF3 (at 3,109 lbs.), but it can do 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 193 mph. Now that is sexy. 2011 Wiesmann Roadster MF5
  17. On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 25: "Pirates and Ninjas" (海賊とニンジャ) Legends of the Week: Shun Shioya as Yosuke Shiina, Nao Nagasawa as Nanami Nono, and Kohei Yamamoto as Kouta Bitou Villains of the Week: Space Ninjas Sandaaru Jr. and Satarakura Jr. Gokai Color of the Week: None Past Sentai of the Week: Chjoujuu Sentai Liveman (too '80s for Power Rangers fans), Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger (Power Rangers Dino Thunder) Sandaaru Jr. and Satarakura Jr. - the sons of two fallen villains in Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger (Power Rangers Ninja Storm) - are sent by the Zangyack Empire to turn people into chestnuts and use them to launch a missile that spells certain chaos. When the Gokaigers cannot handle the two space ninjas, and Captain Marvelous, Joe and Luka are trapped inside a pocket dimension, the Hurricanegers come out of retirement. However, they won't help Don, Ahim and Gai save their comrades unless they get their Ranger Keys back. Finally, after weeks of fillers, we get another awesome tribute episode. And what better way to answer the age-long Pirates vs. Ninjas debate than this one. Sure, the villains' plot is a tad hokey, but that's compensated with non-stop action that hasn't been seen since the Shinkenger tribute episodes. And Nanami-chan is as gorgeous as ever! But it doesn't end here, as this episode ends in a cliffhanger. Anime fans will definitely recognize the voices of this week's baddies. Sandaaru Jr. is voiced by Shuuichi Ikeda (Char Aznable in Mobile Suit Gundam, Captain Napolipolita in Project A-Ko), while Satarakura Jr. is voiced by Bin Shimada (Stick Bernard in Mospeada, Paptimus Scirocco in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam). Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 26: "Shushutto The Special" (シュシュッとTHE SPECIAL) Captain Marvelous, Joe and Luka fight to survive in Satarakura Jr.'s pocket dimension while the other Gokaigers and the Hurricangers team up in a race to save them.
  18. Long ago, there were Gundam.com and Gundamwatch, but they're now gone and there are no more dedicated Gundam message boards.
  19. I'm not surprised that Steve himself violated the TOU to ban somebody for pointing out that name-calling is a violation of the TOU. Steve Yun (Posted on: August 12, 2011 - 5:07:34 PM): SMS Ozma Lee's account was closed for being a jerk and also because it was a previously banned member returning with a new account. If he returns again, please report him. Also, King of Pain will take a 1 week probation for calling another member a douchebag.
