  1. Before he was The Game, he was a jobber to a German dancing kid.
  2. Here are some new pics of Hennessey's souped-up Lotus. The Venom GT is powered by a 6.2 liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 1,200 bhp and 1,155 lb-ft torque. With a curb weight of 2,685 lbs., it theoretically goes from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 272 mph. 2011 Hennessey Venom GT
  3. Of all the TF figures I have, the only one with a QC issue is the DOTM Deluxe Bumblebee. It took me a while to discover that mine has two left shoulder plates.
  4. I'm sure this will be part of a series of Tintin movies. But one must wonder if Spielberg and Jackson will adapt Tintin in the Congo at all.
  5. Well, he can simply return or exchange it at the toy store he bought it from.
  6. Here's a pic for Wanzerfan: Randy Orton's New Tag Team Partner
  7. Can somebody please translate this in English? I have no idea what he's talking about.
  8. One of Europe's most beloved comic books gets the big-budget Hollywood treatment. The Adventures of Tintin stars Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, Griffin in Jumper) as Tintin, Andy Serkis (King Kong, Gollum in The Lord of the Rings) as Captain Haddock, Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Nicholas in Hot Fuzz) and Nick Frost (Ed in Shaun of the Dead, Danny in Hot Fuzz) as Thompson & Thompson, Daniel Craig (the current James Bond 007) as Red Rackham, and Toby Jones (Arnim Zola in Captain America: The First Avenger) as Aristides Silk. Normally, one would think this movie will flop in the U.S., as practically nobody in America reads Tintin, but it is produced by Peter Jackson (with Weta Digital doing the special effects, of course) and directed by Steven Spielberg - which theoretically guarantees a box-office hit stateside. The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn premieres on October 26 in the UK and December 23 in the U.S. Official Site
  9. On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 27: "A More Than Usual Gokai Change" (いつもより豪快なチェンジ) Legend of the Week: None Villain of the Week: Action Commander Regaeru Gokai Color of the Week: None Past Sentai of the Week: Choushinsei Flashman (too '80s for Power Rangers fans) While the Gokaigers intervene with the Zangyack's latest plot to conquer Earth, Action Commander Regaeru uses his powers to switch the minds of Don and Luka. We're back to another filler episode - this time, dealing with personality switches. not much really happens here, but it's good to see how Doc and Luka-chan's personalities clash with each other. Otherwise, it's great to see the Flashman suits back in action. Easter Eggs In the scene where Luka-chan chases off a group of boys harassing two school girls, all of the signs on the street are references to past Super Sentai female villains. Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 28: "Wings Forever" (翼は永遠に) Gai Yuki from Choujin Sentai Jetman returns from the dead to give the Gokaigers an old-school lesson.
  10. The drama never stops outside the ring. Marlena Sues New Jack
  11. But all them rabbits are sooo cute. Still, they're no match for the Rabbit of Carbannog.
  12. This could quite possibly be the worst henshin belt ever. You can save yourself a lot of money by buying switches and other parts at RadioShack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBNbTYDUFtU&hd=1
  13. To commemorate the end of Lotus Exige production, a special edition model will be released exclusively in North America. This Matte Black Final Edition will have its 1.8 liter supercharged I-4 engine boosted to 257 bhp. Only 25 units will be produced - each with their own numbered plate. 2012 Lotus Exige Matte Black Final Edition
  14. I don't hate Sky Captain, but I was pretty much underwhelmed by its presentation. It tried too hard to pay homage to the classic 1930s serials, but it just didn't work. For starters, they could've cast a better actor than Jude Law as Sky Captain. I just can't picture Jude Law being anyone other than that robot hooker in A.I.: Artificial Intelligence. Angelina Jolie always has been and always will be overrated on any role she lands. And bringing Sir Laurence Olivier back from the dead really didn't do much to enhance the viewing quality. And the whole idea of doing the movie completely in a digital backlot was supposed to save money, not cost $70 million. For that kind of money, you expect the movie to not look like a PS2 video game, which it does. So much for the directorial career of Kerry Conran. I wonder how bad Casshern (another early digital backlot movie) has aged since then...
  15. Already brought up last year (go back to the first 3 or so pages).
  16. Just rented Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow on Blu-ray and sadly, it hasn't aged well - especially for a movie that just came out seven years ago. It looked okay in theaters back then, but on Blu-ray, it looks like someone's fanfilm on YouTube.
  17. As bad as that looks, it's nothing compared to Thunder in Paradise. But then again, nothing can ever top Small Wonder as the worst sci-fi TV series of all-time.
  18. Motor Trend tested several performance cars to determine which is the best driver's car. Here's the GT-R doing a lap at Laguna Seca.
  19. What'cha gonna do when Hulkamania and his high-tech speedboat run wild on you?!
  20. Time to slow things down. You may remember this song from a movie.
