    On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 30: "Just a Lone Friend's Soul" (友の魂だけでも) Legend of the Week: Kazuhiko Nishimura as Joh Ohara Villain of the Week: Action Commander Zaien Gokai Color of the Week: None Past Sentai of the Week: Choujuu Sentai Liveman (too '80s for Power Rangers fans) and Denshi Sentai Denjiman (too old-school for Power Rangers fans) The latest clue to the treasure leads the Gokaigers to search for Choujuu Sentai Liveman. After Joe and Ahim meet Joh Ohara - the former Yellow Lion, they uncover Action Commander Zaien's plot to kidnap male athletes and convert them into mass-produced versions of Barizorg. The third consecutive Super Sentai legends episode goes to one of the most acclaimed titles of the '80s: Choujuu Sentai Liveman. Despite his rather limited participation, Kazuhiko Nishimura still has a lot of fight in him in this episode. Liveman's dark and serious storytelling becomes evident here, as Joe once again has to deal with the loss of his comrade Sid, and Joh mentions that he himself had friends who lost their humanity. And just as with Jetman, Hurricaneger and Magiranger, it's pretty disorienting to see Joe change into a blue warrior that was originally female. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the episode is the greater power of Liveman, which is Gokaioh changing into Super Live Robo. Too bad Bandai won't be reissuing that DX toy any time soon. Easter Eggs 1. Joh's introduction is a remake of a scene from episode 18 of Liveman, where he raced to save a runaway stroller. 2. The scene where the female scientist releases a couple of butterflies is a reference to the introduction of the Liveman opening sequence. 3. A skateboard in Joh's laboratory has various stickers that reference Yellow Lion and other members of Liveman. Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 31: "Crash! Secret Operations" (衝撃!!秘密作戦) The Chouriki Sentai Ohranger (Power Rangers Zeo) tribute, and Basco is back!

    At the Frankfurt Motor Show, Lamborghini unveiled its new Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale. Based on the Gallardo race car, the LP 570-4 is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 that generates 570 bhp. Then, as the years passed, you forgot most of them. And when you saw them on DVD, you thought to yourself, "I actually enjoyed that movie when I was younger?" Take Condorman, for example. It flopped at the box office and was heavily panned by critics. Kids back then thought it was cool because Condorman could fly and had a badass supercar. Today, one can't help but laugh at the film - not because it is mostly a comedy, but because its production values are laughable. The storyline is ridiculously hokey, the acting is unbearably cheesy and the wiring is clearly visible in the scenes where Woody uses his Condorman suit. And a lot of Porsche fans are still pissed off by the car chase scene. But who cares?! This falls under the category of "it's so bad, it's good." It's that one toy in your prized collection that everyone hates. Despite all the bad parts mentioned above, Condorman has an equal amount of great parts in it. The cinematography is excellent - especially with the use of Paris, Monte Carlo and Switzerland as the film's settings. And the music by the late, great Henry Mancini (1924-1994) (The Pink Panther, Peter Gunn) gives the film a sense of epicness. Also, you gotta admit that Barbara Carrera was hot in this movie. Of course, this movie could use a little bit of remastering TLC, as the DVD shows it hasn't aged well. Hopefully, Disney will give more attention to this underrated classic. In short, Condorman is an acquired taste, but it's still one of the greatest guilty pleasure films of the 20th century.     Jaguar's all-new C-X16 is the company's first hybrid. Under the hood is a supercharged 3-liter V6 that generates 375 bhp and 332 lb-ft torque, which is mated to a 94 bhp, 173 lb-ft torque electric motor. This equals to an output of 469 bhp and 505 lb-ft torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is 4.4 seconds and the top speed is 186 mph.     On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 29: "The Abare Quick-Changing New Combination" (アバレ七変化で新合体) Legends of the Week: Sho Tomita as Yukito Sanjyo and Michi Nishijima as Emiri Sanjyo Villain of the Week: Action Commander Dial Gokai Color of the Week: None Past Sentai of the Week: Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger (Power Rangers Dino Thunder) When Walz Gil is stricken with a cold, he sends Action Commander Dial to Earth to fetch the cure, which is the happiness of women. After Dial uses his size-changing belt to wreak havoc all over Gokaioh, Ahim devises an ingenious plan to stop the Action Commander's activities. Meanwhile, Yukito Sanjyo - the former Abare Blue, and his wife Emiri look on, knowing that the Gokaigers have yet to unlock the greater power of the Abarangers. If you've watched Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger, you'll most likely enjoy the comedic presentation of this episode; otherwise, you'll probably hate it if you haven't. The episode puts Ahim-chan back on the spotlight, as she's had the least character development in the series so far. It also addresses the issue of her not having an Abaranger to change into. For those unfamiliar with Abaranger, the core team is only a quartet with Abare Killer as the "sixth" member. Emiri, who was unable to become an Abaranger due to her incompatibility with the Dino Brace, appeared as a mascot of sorts called "Abare Pink" in one episode. And so, in this episode, Emi-pon gives Ahim-chan a custom Abare Pink Ranger Key. In addition, the episode introduces Gozyu Gokaioh, which is simply Gokaioh using Gozyujin's arms. Not exactly the best Gokaioh combination, but it sure beats seeing Shinken Gokaioh and Hurricane Gokaioh every time. Easter Eggs 1. The Yukito & Emiri eyecatch is an homage to the cliffhanger endings of Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger. 2. One of Ahim's disguises is a school girl from Saitama looking for directions. Yui Koike is from Saitama. Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 30: "Just a Lone Friend's Soul" (友の魂だけでも) Joh Ohara, the former Yellow Lion of Choujuu Sentai Liveman, unravels the secret of Barizorg.
