The Aventador may as well be the fastest and best-handling Lamborghini ever, but in terms of looks, it will never beat this: the Miura.

Jason Statham is back with another testosterone-filled action movie. Safe is about a former elite cop who protects a 12-year-old girl from the Triads, the Russian Mafia, and even the New York Police.

On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 48: "The Fated Showdown" (宿命の対決) Legend of the Week: None Villain of the Week: Basco ta Jolokia Gokai Color of the Week: Red Past Super Sentai of the Week: None Basco now has possession of the Gokai Galleon, Navi and all 35 Super Sentai greater powers. But the now-powerless Gokaigers prove that they're not going down without a fight. What a fitting climax to one of the greatest feuds in tokusatsu history. These guys really know how to put on a show with amazing fight choreography for the Gokai Red vs. Basco deathmatch. And with Basco finally meeting his fate, it will be interesting to see how this show will come to a close within the next two or so episodes. Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 49: "The Greatest Treasure in the Universe" (宇宙最大の宝) The Gokaigers are just one step away from their lifelong goal, but the Zangyack Empire still stands in their way.

If you ask me, RahXephon is much better than Evangelion. Whereas it took GAINAX X number of times to redo the Evangelion storyline, RahXephon got the ending right in just one try. The characters a considerably less angsty, the artwork is completely breathtaking and the music really gives the show life. The movie Pluralitas Concentio has excellent visuals itself, but it simply cannot be appreciated without watching the series first. If there's only one weakness RahXephon has compared to Evangelion, it's the marketing. While Evangelion floods the market with countless toys, food and other merchandise, RahXephon only had one model kit. I just wish Bandai would re-visit this show and give it either a Robot Damashii or Super Robot Chogokin figure. Thanks. I actually picked up and assembled the kit back in 2003 when ADV released the series on DVD. I just took it out of storage after nearly a decade. As you can see on the slideshow, the left wing is bent backwards. It's gonna be a while before I get it back into shape. And what do you know... it's the 10th anniversary of RahXephon!

After 10 years in storage, my RahXephon model kit finally gets some touch-ups and a slideshow.

This must be fun to drive. The Donkervoort D8 GTO from the Netherlands weighs 1,654 lbs. and is powered by a turbocharged 2.5 liter 5-cylinder that makes 340 bhp and 332 lb-ft torque. This results in a 0-62 acceleration of 3 seconds and a top speed of 158 mph. 2012 Donkervoort D8 GTO

From Timo Vuorensola, director of the Star Wreck parody film series, comes his first-ever major motion picture. Iron Sky is a sci-fi comedy set in the year 2018, where Nazis who colonized the dark side of the moon after World War II set a full-scale invasion of Earth. The film is set to premiere at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival between February 9 and 19 before its international release on April 4. Official Site

On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 47: "The Results of Treason" (裏切りの果て) Legend of the Week: Tohru Furuya (Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen in Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon, Pegasus Seiya in Saint Seiya) as Aka Red (voice) Villain of the Week: Basco ta Jolokia Gokai Color of the Week: None Past Super Sentai of the Week: Gosei Sentai Dairanger (season 2 of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers), Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger (Power Rangers Ninja Storm) and Seijuu Sentai Gingaman (Power Rangers Lost Galaxy) As the Gokaigers begin their final confrontation with Basco ta Jolokia to claim all of the Super Sentai greater powers, the privateer betrays his own pet Sally - leaving the space pirates no choice but to bring her aboard the Gokai Galleon and tend to her wounds. In reality, this is yet another scheme by Basco to steal the Ranger Keys from the Gokaigers, but Sally suddenly becomes indecisive over who to trust: her master or those who helped her. Basco has officially become the most despicable villain in Super Sentai history, as he blows up his own pet to put Captain Marvelous out of commission and take everything away from the Gokaigers. And even while using the full potential of three Super Sentai powers, the Gokaigers are still no match for the privateer. Now that Basco has claimed the Gokai Galleon, Navi and all of the Ranger Keys, how will this end for the space pirates? Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 48: "The Fated Showdown" (宿命の対決) With their powers taken away from them, the Gokaigers must face all odds to reclaim everything they've worked hard for from Basco.

S.H. Figuarts Gokai Yellow (ゴーカイイエロー) Bandai, 2011 Made in China Contents Gokai Yellow figure Extra hands (x 11) Henshin Cell Phone Mobirates Gokai Yellow Ranger Key (open) Gokai Yellow Ranger Key (closed) Gokai Gun Gokai Sabre Gokai Cylinder with Ranger Key for Gokai Gun Gokai Cylinder with Ranger Key for Gokai Sabre Gokai Sabre with Cord Gokai Sabre Naginata Skirt parts (x3) Gokai Darin wheel Gokai Darin seat The fourth Gokaiger in Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line, Gokai Yellow is a Tamashii Web exclusive - mainly because female tokusatsu figures are still untested waters for Bandai. Unlike the male counterparts, Gokai Yellow comes in a bigger box, which includes her Gokai Darin unit (the male characters only have theirs through pre-orders). Just like the other Gokaigers, the figure comes with extra hands, a Mobirates phone, two Ranger Keys, a Gokai Gun, a Gokai Sabre and a set of gimmick parts. Gokai Yellow's gimmick parts consist of two different Gokai Sabres. One is a naginata formed out of two units, which she uses in a few episodes. The other is connected to a bendable wire to replicate the unorthodox sword-throwing style she displays in every episode. Unfortunately, you only get one of those; Gokai Pink will supposedly come with another corded unit to complete the effect. Because the default skirt may limit leg poseability, the figure comes with a three-piece skirt for more extreme poses. Swapping the parts only requires separating the upper and lower torso parts from the waist; just don't lose the belt. As a Tamashii Web exclusive, this figure is actually a little disappointing. The hands do not grip the swords very well compared to the male figures. This becomes more frustrating with the corded Gokai Sabre, as the wire will support the sword in only a few angles; any other pose requires support from a Tamashii Stage display stand. The three-piece skirt somewhat works, but looks awkward overall; plus, the skirt parts are required for the figure to sit on the Gokai Darin seat. What probably kills this figure in the end is its price. It costs almost the same as two standard S.H. Figuarts figures. So unless you're a completely hardcore Gokaiger or Mao Ichimichi fan like myself and must complete the lineup, don't bother with this figure. Otherwise, if you don't mind the price, pick up Gokai Yellow. Detail: B Features: B+ Articulation: B+

The computer and electronics super geek thread

Exactly. If the repair bill is more than 1/4 the price of a new unit, it's not worth it. You can go ahead and have it fixed, but what if you run into the same problem? Best thing to do is to salvage what you can from that laptop. The hard drive can still be used as a backup unit if it still works - just buy a USB external casing for it. If the RAM is DDR3, then you can still use it on a new laptop. Simple economics.
