    Yup, another old thread brought back from the dead. After watching this review, I'm glad I never watched the anime. So yeah, the reviewer is not a fan of Tomino's works, but that's not the whole point of the review. Listen to the dub at your own risk.

    On this week's episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 50: "The Day of the Deciding Battle" (決戦の日) Legends of the Week: Seiju Umon as Goushi, Louis Yamada LIII as Prof. Shuichiro Amachi, and Kaoru Hirata as Yuka Yamazaki Villain of the Week: Imperial Guard Dyrandoh Gokai Color of the Week: None Past Super Sentai of the Week: None The Gokaigers are overwhelmed by the sheer might of the Zangyack Empire's invasion fleet as all of the Gokai Machines are destroyed in battle. As Emperor Akudos Gill broadcasts an ultimatum for mankind's extinction come sunrise, the pirates must decide on whether to use the Greatest Treasure in the Universe to wipe out the Zangyack Empire once and for all, at the cost of all of the Super Sentai powers. What an explosive way to start the final battle, with the Gokaigers going all-out on unleashing just about every Super Sentai greater power on the first wave of the invasion fleet. In addition, we see the return appearances of Goushi (formerly Mammoth Ranger) of Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger, Prof. Amachi of Tensou Sentai Goseiger and Yuka Yamazaki of Mahou Sentai Magiranger. In addition, guest characters from previous episodes of Gokaiger appear as well - namely the mother and her children from episode 23 and the school kid from episode 2. But what will really have Power Rangers fans mark out is Gokai Red as Tyranno Ranger in Dragon Armor. It's just too bad the rest of the Gokaigers didn't change into the full Zyuranger team, though. Still, this episode is a great warmup to a much-anticipated finale. Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Final Episode: "Sayonara Space Pirates" (さよなら宇宙海賊) It's now a do-or-die situation for the Gokaigers, as they decide to face the Zangyack Empire using only their own powers.

Figuarts Gokai Silver (ゴーカイシルバー) Bandai, 2012 Made in China Contents Gokai Silver figure Extra hands (x 11) Henshin Cell Phone Gokai Cellular Gokai Silver Ranger Key (open) Gokai Spear Gokai Spear Gun Mode Gokai Silver is the fifth Gokaiger in Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line and the fourth to be sold on a retail level in Japan. Unlike the other Gokaigers, Gokai Silver's body is in a metallic finish and the wrist collar and boot lip parts have no articulation. The figure is also very minimal on accessories as well. Aside from the extra hands, Gokai Silver comes with his Gokai Cellular phone, one Ranger Key and two Gokai Spears - one in spear mode and the other in gun mode. While the weapons are very well detailed, they lack the key holes to insert folded Ranger Keys (especially since Gokai Silver doesn't come with one); thus any Final Wave pose you do with the figure will lose one point in accuracy. Even pre-orders don't get any benefits such as the Gokai Darin that came with Gokai Red, Gokai Blue and Gokai Green. What's more disappointing is that the Gold Mode armor is not included. Perhaps it will be available as a separate release. At least the Gokai Spear has the ability to change into Anchor Mode, so there is hope for a Gold Mode anytime soon. Overall, Gokai Silver is the most lacking among the Gokaigers in terms of features, but if you love the character, then the figure is a must-have. Detail: A- Features: B- Articulation: A-

However, they are warned by the treasure itself that all of the Super Sentai powers will vanish forever once it is used. Meanwhile, Akudos Gil sends Insarn to get rid of the space pirates before the Zangyack Empire can proceed on their conquest of Earth. Well, the Greatest Treasure in the Universe is not what we had expected, as it's a talking Triforce. So yeah, in appearance, it's a bit of a disappointment, but how it will play out in the end is still worth the wait. And while we're treated to some old-school Super Sentai action, it's just too bad that Insarn jobbed to the Gokaigers like that. Next week on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Episode 50: "The Day of the Deciding Battle" (決戦の日) With Earth once again the subject of a full-blown invasion by the Zangyack Empire, the Gokaigers must decide on whether or not they should use the Greatest Treasure in the Universe to end the empire's reign for good.
