  1. Koenigsegg's latest incarnation of their supercar is the Agera R. Its supercharged 5-liter V8 generates 1,140 bhp and 738 lb-ft torque. Weighing in at 3,163 lbs., the Agera R is claimed to achieve a top speed of 273 mph. One highlight of this car is its use of hollow, all-carbon fiber wheels made from Koenigsegg's proprietary Aircore™ Technology, saving approximately 20 kg in unsprung mass on each wheel. 2013 Koenigsegg Agera R
  2. This week, on Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters: Mission 4: "Special Ops and Determination" (特命と決意) Enter activates a Metaroid in front of the Go-Busters. What could he be up to? Yeah, this show is beginning to get repetitive, with no real story development going on and the action slowing down a considerable amount. I'll stick around until Go-Buster-oh shows up. If that doesn't peak my interest, I'll just watch more Super Sentai reruns, then.
  3. There's not much to say about this, so I'll let this trailer do the talking.
  4. Is it necessary for you to quote every single image on your reply?
  5. My current (and possibly permanent) wallpaper on my Acer Ubuntu unit.
  6. Any Ubuntu users here? I've been running 11.10 on my Acer Aspire One ZG5 for over a week now. As the netbook is four years old, it is obviously slower than newer computers, but it runs considerably faster than it did when it had Windows XP on it. Too bad Ubuntu is a battery guzzler, though.
  7. Since the Schwarzenegger thread has been nuked, I might as well park this here.
  8. And now for the 100th episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvCCgPDcnvQ
  9. Early this month, Saban struck a deal with Shout! Factory, giving the latter exclusive DVD, Blu-ray and digital rights to over 700 Power Rangers episodes, as well as VR Troopers, Big Bad Beetleborgs and Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. This agreement does not include the Power Rangers movies. Look for these titles to hit video stores this Summer. Meanwhile, here's an excellent idea on adapting Goseiger as the next Power Rangers title:

  11. This week, on Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters: Mission 3: "GT-02 Animal, Deploy!" (GT-02アニマル、出撃!) When Enter takes over a hospital to drain its Enetron supply, the Go-Busters must race against time to replenish the power source and save all of the patients and medical staff. Despite being a rather flat episode, the mecha action makes up for it. We get to see GT-02 Gorilla in combat, as it fires banana missiles that cause the enemy robot to slip on peels. Still, this show could improve on pacing and character interaction.
  12. Coming to Japanese theaters on April 21 is the largest tokusatsu spectacle in film history. Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen is the ultimate crossover between the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai franchises, featuring cast members of Kamen Rider Fourze, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, Kamen Rider Decade and Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, as well as cast members from other series. Moreover, this movie will attempt to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records. With a total of 485 combatants (50 Kamen Riders, 173 Super Sentai warriors, 97 monsters and 165 foot soldiers), Toei is gunning for the "Guinness Record for Most Suit Actors in One Place". 13. S.H. Figuarts Gokai Pink (ゴーカイピンク) Bandai, 2012 Made in China Contents Gokai Pink figure Extra hands (x 11) Henshin Cell Phone Mobirates Gokai Pink Ranger Key (open) Gokai Pink Ranger Key (closed) Gokai Gun Gokai Sabre Gokai Cylinder with Ranger Key for Gokai Gun Gokai Cylinder with Ranger Key for Gokai Sabre Double Gokai Gun Gokai Sabre with Cord Skirt parts (x3) Gokai Darin wheel Gokai Darin seat Gokai Pink is the final release of the core lineup of the Gokaigers in Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line. Like Gokai Yellow, she is a Tamashii Web exclusive, as female characters are still untested waters in this toy line. And being in the same format as Gokai Yellow, Gokai Pink comes packaged in a bigger box with her Gokai Darin unit. Content-wise, Gokai Pink has the same amount of parts as Gokai Yellow. Her main gimmick part is the Double Gokai Gun, which is two guns fused into one. It's a nifty gadget, even though it was only used once in the series. Also included is a Gokai Sabre with Cord, which completes Gokai Yellow's arsenal. Too bad that's about all that's included in the package. Maybe on some later web exclusive release, we'll get the Gokai Galleon Buster. Just like Gokai Yellow, Gokai Pink has some quality control issues due to the low production volume. Some joints are significantly tighter and the right wrist cuff is glued while the left cuff moves freely as it should. Hopefully, Gokai Pink's build quality is not inherently catastrophic like Shinken Pink was. In short, the steep price does not justify the quality of the figure. You are paying merely to be a hardcore fan of Gokaiger or Yui Koike. But then again, if you did get the other Gokaigers, you have no choice but to add Gokai Pink to complete your collection. 14. I have an Acer Aspire One ZG5 that's in the shop right now for the following upgrades: Conversion from 8GB SSD to 160GB SATA RAM upgrade from 1GB to 1.5GB (since the motherboard can't go beyond 2GB, especially with 512MB built in) Replace faulty 3-cell battery with new 6-cell battery Once the upgrades are done, it will be my Ubuntu unit.
  15. This week, on Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters: Mission 2: "A Promise Made 13 Years Ago" (13年前の約束) After years of being suppressed by his sister, Hiromu finally joins the Go-Busters full-time. But Yoko shows some resentment toward him. Goddamn, what a cold b!tch that Yoko is. Aside from that, we get to know how all of this started: the accident that created the Vaglass and gave three children their abilities. Again, there are small comedic bits, but much of the episode shows more of the series' departure from the Super Sentai formula. We get real-time transformation scenes instead of recycled footage. We even have the main villain interrupting a transformation sequence in the beginning. The mecha action scene is part Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive and part Tokusou Exceedraft, as there's more emphasis on disaster relief than the fight itself. Yeah, there's a lot more to cover in this series, but it's been an interesting ride so far.
