Yup, first time ever. Also just to give you an idea of how big Itashar Robo will be, an S.H. Figuarts male figure is 5.5" in height.

Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow Marvel/Lionsgate Home Video, 2008 Directed by Jay Oliva and Gary Hartle Written by Christopher Yost (New X-Men, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes) Based upon characters from The Avengers created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby (1917-1994), Joe Simon (1913-2011) and Marvel Comics. Running Time: 78 minutes Rated PG for sci-fi violence. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30ZUFitHXD8 "And there came the day, unlike any other. When Earth's mightiest heroes were united against a common threat. The Soldier, the God, the Knight, the Spy, the Giant, the King, the Pixie, the Ghost, and the Archer. On that day, the Avengers were born. To fight foes that no single hero could withstand: time-traveling conquerors, alien invaders and masters of evil. The Avengers vanquished them all. And finally, when the world was at peace, the heroes built lives of their own. The Soldier and Spy fell in love, as did the Giant and Pixie. The King found his Queen. And the Thunder God returned to his kingdom far away from the world of man. And one by one, the children of the Avengers came to be. Children who would one day become a new generation of heroes. "But in time, evil returned. An evil called Ultron. Ultron wanted nothing less than total dominion over the world. But the Avengers stood in its way. Sadly, their defeat was inevitable. "But before they fell, the Avengers hid their children in a faraway place, where they would grow up safe from Ultron's grasp. Because the Avengers knew that as long as their children were alive, there was hope. Hope for the future." - Tony Stark Cast Noah Crawford (young Earl in My Name Is Earl) as James Rogers (son of Captain America and Black Widow) Brenna O'Brien (Rin in InuYasha) as Torunn (daughter of Thor and Sif) Dempsey M. Pappion as Azari (son of Black Panther and Storm) Aidan Drummond as Henry Pym, Jr. (son of Giant Man and Wasp) Adrian Petriw (Iron Boy: Armored Adventures, Naoki in Nana) as Francis Barton (son of Hawkeye and Mockingbird) Tom Kane (Professor Utonium in The Powerpuff Girls, Magneto in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds) as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Ultron Shawn MacDonald as The Vision Michael Adamthwaite (Yzak in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Justin Hammer in Iron Boy: Armored Adventures) as Thor Ken Kramer as Bruce Banner Fred Tatasciore (Beast in Marvel Anime: X-Men, Juzo in Afro Samurai) as The Hulk Nicole Oliver (Key: The Metal Idol, Hsien-ko in Darkstalkers) as Betty Ross and Jocasta Synopsis Twelve years have passed since Ultron destroyed the Avengers and conquered the Earth. Deep in the Arctic Circle, Tony Stark - formerly Iron Man - has kept the children of the Avengers under his guidance. But now, Ultron has sensed their presence and they must fight to survive and learn the truth about their parents. Story: C- What a way to rape someone's childhood. Surely, you wouldn't leave the fate of Earth at the hands of these brats, would you? Yes, this movie is not for hardcore Avengers fans, as it dumps a huge one on the comic franchise's legacy. And even though the main characters are kids, this movie is too dark for children to understand. As a result, Next Avengers has no audience to appreciate. Animation: C+ For something produced by famed Japanese studio Madhouse, the animation is disappointingly cheap. It looks no different from an average episode of Ben 10. Soundtrack: B The musical score by Guy Michelmore - who has done the soundtracks of other Marvel animated features - is not bad, but not within the same level as his works in Ultimate Avengers 1-2. The Bottom Line The next generation of the Avengers are just a bunch of Teen Titans knockoffs. Aircraft Super Thread Mk.VII

Since this TV series is aircraft related (though pretty loosely), I'll post my review here. Pan Am Jack Orman Productions/ABC Television/Sony Pictures Television, 2011-2012 Created by Jack Orman (ER, JAG) Running Time: 43 minutes per episode Rated TV-PG for mild language and mature situations. Cast Christina Ricci (Wednesday in The Addams Family, Katrina in Sleepy Hollow) as Maggie Ryan Margot Robbie (Donna in Neighbours) as Laura Cameron Michael Mosley as Ted Vanderway Karine Vanasse as Colette Valois Mike Vogel (Jason in Cloverfield, Johnny in The Help) as Dean Lowrey Kelli Garner (Faith in The Aviator, Barb in Man of the House) as Kate Cameron Annabelle Wallis (that blonde chick Charles was flirting with in X-Men: First Class) as Bridget Pierce Jeremy Davidson as Richard Parks Kal Parekh as Sanjeev David Harbour (Gregg Beam in Quantum of Solace) as Roger Anderson Goran Visnjic (Dragan in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Mark Miller in Elektra) as Niko Lonza Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga) as Amanda Mason Lowdown Normally, I don't watch TV dramas because they're just not interesting, but one day, I wanted to read a little about the fabled airline known as Pan Am. And in the middle of my searches on Google and Wikipedia, I stumbled upon this TV series. Set in 1963 during the Jet Age boom, Pan Am chronicles the adventures of the crew of Pan Am's Boeing 707 Jet Clipper Majestic. The main focus is on four stewardesses: Maggie (who will always be Wednesday, even in a sexy Pan Am uniform), Kate (who is also working for the CIA as a low-level courier), Laura (Kate's younger sister who struggles to grow up after having run away from her wedding) and Colette (a French girl who survived World War II, but still hates the Germans). There's also some emphasis on flight captain Dean (who's still coping with the mysterious disappearance of his fiance Bridget) and first officer Ted (a former naval test pilot whose hopes for entering the Space Program were diminished by an accident). Storywise, it's a lot of things crammed up in a 43-minute episode - a soap opera, a spy thriller and a historical re-enactment on what commercial flight was like in the old days. Some viewers may have trouble keeping up with the multiple subplots, as each character has their own share of issues. The production crew spared no expense on recreating the 1960s atmosphere and depicting Pan Am in its former glory. The uniforms have been meticulously replicated to give viewers an idea of what real stewardesses looked like. As for the cast, viewers will have their favorites, but there's no doubt that most guys who watch this show have easily fallen in love with Colette. To call her gorgeous is an understatement. She has that look reminiscent of Sophie Marceau. In short, Pan Am is not a perfect series, but it's worth checking out, whether you're an airline afficionado or you just want to see more of Colette. The big question is whether or not ABC will renew the series for a second season. Rating: B Links ABC's Official Pan Am Homepage Sony Pictures' Official Pan Am Homepage References TV.com Wikipedia -
The Machine Itashar toy will be huge, given that it will accommodate the S.H. Figuarts Akibarangers. It will definitely not cost US$30-something; expect it to be over US$150, as it will most likely be a Tamashii Web exclusive.

Saw it three times already and I'm looking to watch it on IMAX this week. Meanwhile, the film continues to rake in record millions at the box-office. The Avengers domestic gross is at US$200,300,000 - making it the biggest opening weekend of all-time and the fastest to reach the US$200 million mark. It won't be long before it joins The Dark Knight at the US$1 billion club. US$641,800,000 (as of 7 May)

As much as I want one myself, it may never happen. From a marketing standpoint, Bandai does not see any of the Showa era (1975-1988) Super Sentai titles as profitable compared to the Heisei era titles (1989-present). This was somewhat evident in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, as Choudenshi Bioman was among the titles with the least amount of coverage in the series. Bandai did unveil a SRC prototype of Sun Vulcan Robo last year, but it's been sent to the backburner at the moment. Also, it seems that Battle Fever Robo was among the lowest-selling robots in the Soul of Chogokin series.

It would be perfect if WB got John Carpenter to direct it, as Arkham City's atmosphere is right up his alley.

On this week's episode of Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger: Episode 4: "Forbidden Delusion Is the Pain of Immortality Blue" (禁じられた妄想は青い背徳の痛み) Special Guest: None Mitsuki takes three days off to participate in a martial arts camp in Izu, and she asks Akagi and Yumeria not to enter any delusions while she's out. But while the duo are living their normal lives in Akihabara, another Chief Clerk suddenly appears, and they are forced to fight him without Mitsuki. While this is more of a filler episode than anything, it's so moe to see the girls cosplay as past Super Sentai female characters. Next week on Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger: Episode 5: "Our Pain ☆ Yellow Mama" (イタイタ☆イエローママ) You think Yumeria-chan has it bad when it comes to cosplaying? You should see her mother! Good boys and girls shouldn't watch.

Once again, we have another company attempting to revive the Pan Am name. However, no one's sure if this one will actually fly. But with Pan Am regaining interest after ABC recently aired a TV drama about a group of 1960s stewardesses, who knows? Pan American Airways -

Personally, I was never used to the last CO livery. I always thought the old "meatball" livery (1968-1991) was the definitive Continental Airlines. As for UA, I prefer the 1993 "battleship" livery. -

Going back to the subject of airliners, how many of you are disoriented by United's current logo? I know that it's a result of the merger between United and Continental, but it's just not United. How long before they actually revert to the old "tulip" logo? -

Last year, Cars 2 scored big at the box-office, but was hated by critics - making it the worst-reviewed movie in Pixar history. This June 22, Pixar is out to win back the critics with their upcoming film Brave, a fantasy adventure film set in medieval Scotland. Directed by Mark Andrews (One Man Band) and Brenda Chapman (The Prince of Egypt), Brave features the voices of Kelly Macdonald (Diane in Trainspotting, Helena Ravenclaw in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2), Julie Walters (Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter series), Billy Connolly (Il Duce in The Boondock Saints series), Emma Thompson (Agent O in Men in Black III, Professor Trelawney in the Harry Potter series), Kevin McKidd (Capt. McTavish in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, Tommy in Trainspotting), Robbie Coltrane (Zukovsky in GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough, Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter series) and John Ratzenberger (various characters in every Pixar film). On this week's episode of Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger: Episode 3: "It Hurts! Drunken Hero Adventure!!" (痛タッ!酔いどれヒーロー大冒険!!) Special Guest: Mitsuomi Takahashi (Mitsuomi in the 2007 Hana-Kimi series) as Bouken Red (voice) Akagi's hopes of dating his long-time crush Sayaka causes him to go on a drinking binge, which surprisingly amplifies his delusion power with him summoning Bouken Red of GoGo Sentai Boukenger. To further test this theory, Akagi and Yumeria get drunk to prepare for the Akibarangers' next battle, much to Mitsuki's dismay. This episode was obviously tailor-made for drinking games. as it's absolutely wrong on so many levels. I don't even want to get into the details of this week's main villain. Still, it's an extremely hilarious episode you need to see. Next week on Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger: Episode 4: "Forbidden Delusion Is the Pain of Immortality Blue" (禁じられた妄想は青い背徳の痛み) Akiba Blue betrays the Akibarangers? Good boys and girls shouldn't watch.
