  1. Lord Matsudaira Naritsugu (13 Assassins) "Ruling is convenient, but only for rulers. The people must live to serve." Cruel, sadistic samurai lord who rapes and kills as he pleases because he can and nobody can do anything about it. When a samurai commits harakiri in protest of his rule, Naritsugu uses that samurai's entire family for target practice. Because of his destructive nature, daimyo Doi Toshitsura has veteran samurai Shimada Shinzaemon assemble a band of warriors to assassinate Naritsugu before he assumes the position of shogun. Despite facing an army of over 200 guards and losing his life along with majority of the 13 assassins, Shinzaemon succeeds in making Naritsugu feel pain for the first time before decapitating him.
  2. Here's the buzz from It Ain't Cool News: Update: What the Hell Happened with G.I. Joe: Retaliation?!
  3. The (a red Dart Tag Furyfire with an added targeting sight) is out now. Other than that, I haven't seen any other toys for this film.Anyone here want to make bets that someone's gonna do an X-Men Origins: Wolverine and leak an unfinished workprint of this movie online?
  4. Another movie, another product placement. The Men in Black have traded in their Mercedes-Benz E-Class with the new Ford Taurus.
  5. No, he should play a character similar to Stansfield in Leon: The Professional. That would be the perfect Clarence Boddicker in the reboot.
  6. So far, the movie is doing okay on the reviews. In comparison, MIB2 has a rating of 39%. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 67% Also, I forgot to mention the bad news: Frank isn't in it.
  7. I think that much like the character Jinx, this movie has some bad luck. Back in November, a production member was killed while taking down a stage set. G.I. Joe 2 Crew Member Dies at New Orleans Set
  8. I just came back from watching this film, and I must say that it's a huge improvement over MIB2. Josh Brolin does an amazing job impersonating Tommy Lee Jones. And the actual time travel premise works well in the storyline.
  9. "Pain Is Power." And that's exactly what your bank account will be feeling if you pre-order the 1/1 DX MMZ-01 Moe Moe Z-Cune. According to this magazine ad, the henshin device will cost ¥12,600 (roughly US$160!). New Moe Moe Z-Cune Images Revealed
  10. GTO, the popular manga that broke viewership records in Japan with its live-action adaptation from 1999 to 2000, will be getting a reboot this July. Akira of the band Exile will play Eikichi Onizuka, a role immortalized by Takashi Soramachi over a decade ago. The new GTO series premieres on July on Fuji TV and will run on Tuesday nights at 10:00 p.m. Live-Action GTO Remake Actors Revealed
  11. And while you're at it, swear (not "sware", BTW) never to quote multiple images again.
  12. I'm surprised no one here is talking about this. Premiering today in most theaters worldwide (and on May 25 in the U.S.) is Men in Black 3, the follow-up to the 1997 masterpiece Men in Black and its disappointing 2002 sequel Men in Black II. Barry Sonnenfeld (The Addams Family, Get Shorty) returns to the director's chair while Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their roles as Agent J and Agent K, respectively. With the film's theme being time-travel, Josh Brolin (Jonah Hex, Dr. Block in Planet Terror) plays young Agent K in 1969. Also starring are Emma Thompson (Nanny McPhee, Queen Elinor in Brave) and Alice Eve (Molly in She's Out of My League) as Agent O, Nicole Scherzinger (of the Pussycat Dolls) as Lily, Jemaine Clement (of the musical duo Flight of the Conchords) as Boris the Animal, and David Rasche (Sledge Hammer!) as Agent X. Lady Gaga (the second most overrated pop singer today) makes a cameo appearance as well; to no surprise, she's being monitored by the MIB. Official Site
  13. At least that gives me enough time to build a new gaming rig for it.
  14. Now for some more sexy supercar wallpapers. Here's the Lamborghini Aventador Rabbioso LP777-4 by Wheelsandmore. The 6.5 liter V12 engine has been tuned to generate 777 bhp and 553 lb-ft torque, resulting in a top speed of 217 mph. And that mocha brown color looks delicious. 2012 Wheelsandmore Lamborghini Aventador Rabbioso Wheelsandmore Official Site
  15. This July, many Power Rangers fans will dent their bank accounts with this: Power Rangers 40-Disc DVD Box Set Coming - From Shout! Factory and Time Life Home Video. Covers the first seven seasons from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (not including the theatrical releases MMPR: The Movie and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, which you can get for $5 at Walmart, anyway).
  16. On this week's episode of Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger: Episode 7: "Delirious Runaway Itashar, Break Through the Limit!" (妄走イタッシャー限界突破せよ!) Special Guest: None After entering the real world, ©Na makes her move by instigating a diversion tactic on the Akibarangers while abducting Hiroyo, who seems to know something about the villainess that no one else does. This show is getting more interesting on its own with ©Na-sama now becoming a threat outside the delusional world. Aside from that, we get to see Mitsuki-chan and Yumeria-chan cosplaying as Z-Cune Aoi characters. And finally, after a four-episode hiatus, we get to see Itashar Robo in action. Sure, it's all CG, but for a comedy series, this is rather intense. Next week, on Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger: Episode 8: "The Bonds of Painful Special Training Are the Authorization Road's Conspiracy Intersection" (痛き特訓の絆は公認ロードの陰謀交差点) The first step to becoming an official Super Sentai begins. Good boys and girls shouldn't watch.
  17. Last week, we lost Donna Summer. Yesterday, we lost another member of the Bee Gees. R.I.P. Robin Gibb (1949-2012) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeHZ5rJfnh4
  18. Time to empty your bank accounts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=945ejlg5-A0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azLdVxPc9Dg
  19. Kinda weird seeing Dragonar looking like that. It reminds me of Masami Obari's skinny mecha designs with a little bit of Gundam SEED and Gundam OO influence thrown in. Still, excellent score you got there, DarrinG.
  20. To all those who didn't like the movie or say it doesn't live up to their expectations: What exactly is your benchmark for a superhero movie?
  21. You know, when I read the thread title, I was expecting some Voltron stuff, as World Events owns the Voltron franchise.
