  1. The original graphic novel has the ambiguous ending of Bats and Joker laughing at the joke while the panels fade to the background. However, it fades to just Bats laughing, which implies that he strangled Joker to death.
  2. Damn, it's been over a decade since Otaku-Smeghead passed away. He was fun to hang out with during the early years of MWCon. R.I.P.

  4. Yeah, this feels like a double-feature. I know that the film wants to give more emphasis on Batgirl, but they put way too much info on her - especially the really awkward relationship between her and Batman. As a result, Batman himself ends up being a background character of his own story. As for the animation... they released this theatrically? The choppy framerates and lack of detail make this film made-for-TV material at most. In the end, Batman: The Killing Joke is nowhere near the level of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman: Sub-Zero, and Batman: Under the Red Hood. It's just another animated Batman movie. And considering the source material it's based on, this is a disappointment.

  8. Well, they are within S.H. Figuarts and Figma price points, so that's good. I'm just a bit concerned that they haven't done a lot of female figures in their line. Granted, S.H. Figuarts had the same issue, but they've stepped it up a lot over the past couple of years. At least we can now forget about those horrid, overpriced figures McFarlane Toys released.
  9. In 2002, when WWE Champion Brock Lesnar was drafted to SmackDown, RAW GM Eric Bischoff brought back WCW's old Big Gold Belt and rechristened it the World Heavyweight Championship before awarding it to Triple H. As expected, history has repeated itself. With WWE Champion Dean Ambrose drafted to SmackDown Live, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and GM Mick Foley made a not-so-surprising announcement: As for what the belt will look like? God forbid them resurrecting the Spinner Belt.

  12. I never really thought of Mark Zuckerberg's portrayal of Luthor as being inspired by Heath Ledger's version of The Joker; instead, it's more like channeling Jon Cryer's character Lenny Luthor in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
