  1. The trailer posted on May already gave away most of the series so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwfCRAtkYEI
  2. Whatever you read from the critics is spot-on. The Bourne Legacy is a disappointment. The film somewhat gains interest throughout the first two acts, but once it goes to Manila, it just goes downhill. Why they decided to use Manila is beyond me (other than cheap labor), as it doesn't really factor out on the overall plot. You got a motorcycle chase scene that even makes Hollywood logic pointless (as the traffic in the film is an incorrect depiction of Manila rush hour traffic). Aside from that, there's no chemistry between Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz, and Edward Norton doesn't really do much here. The film also relies heavily on recycling footage from The Bourne Ultimatum to piece it together with the whole series. And the ending? There's none, which would lead you to believe that there will be another Bourne movie. Good luck with that.
  3. I saw it three times, including once on IMAX.
  4. Frank Miller's critically acclaimed graphic novel hits the small screen for the first time on September 25. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 features the voices of Peter Weller (RoboCop) as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Ariel Winter (Queen Perdita in Young Justice, Mog in Final Fantasy XIII-2) as Carrie Kelley/Robin, Wade Williams (Blackgate warden in The Dark Knight Rises, Mantis in Batman: The Brave and the Bold) as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, David Selby as Commissioner Gordon, Michael McKean (Perry White in Smallville, Vultaire in Thundercats) as Dr. Wolper, and Gary Anthony Williams (Riff in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Thunderball in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes) as the Mutant Leader.
  5. Not looking good with the critics. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 31%
  6. Good News: Toei and Bandai Hong Kong have the series available on YouTube with English or Chinese subtitles. You can watch them on this thread (starting on page 1) or on the link below. Bad News: Asian countries only. Akibaranger Official YouTube Channel
  7. Back from the dead! Time to bring some fans of the film up to speed: First off, for those who didn't know, Battle Royale is finally available in the U.S. on DVD and Blu-ray, courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment. The official trailer can be viewed on the first post of this thread. And now for the latest news. For years, there have been rumors of Hollywood adapting Battle Royale for western audiences. Now it's been reported that the CW network is in talks to acquire the rights to the novel for a TV adaptation. This can be seen as the CW's attempt to ride on the popularity of The Hunger Games - a film that many have compared to Battle Royale. L.A. Times: CW Discusses Battle Royale TV Remake in the U.S.
  8. I forgot to mention that Terry Bogard is just the first of a series of SNK-Playmore characters to get the D-Arts treatment. Kyo Kusanagi, Kim Kaphwan and Mai Shiranui were on display alongside Terry at a toy convention in Tokyo last year. Sadly, no one's posted a pic of Mai. 9. "OKAY!" Bandai has unveiled official pics of the D-Arts Terry Bogard, which is set for release on November for 4,200 yen.
