  1. The Wachowski Brother & Sister return with Jupiter Ascending, starring Mila Kunis (Lori in Ted, Mona Sax in Max Payne), Channing Tatum (himself in This Is the End, Duke in G.I. Joe), Sean Bean (Alec Trevelyan in GoldenEye, Boromir in The Lord of the Rings), and Korean actress Bae Doona (Sonmi/Tilda/Mexican woman in Cloud Atlas). Jupiter Ascending was originally scheduled for a July 25, 2014 release, but it's been pushed back to February 6, 2015 to finish the special effects. Official Site
  2. The Pirate Fairy is Disney's next animated film, set for release on April 1, 2014. It is the fifth installment in DisneyToons Studios Tinker Bell series, with Mae Whitman (Katara in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Roxy Richter in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) reprising her role as Tinker Bell. Also featured are the voices of Christina Hendricks (Blanche in Drive, Lois Lane in All-Star Superman) as Zarina and Tom Hiddleston (Loki in Thor and The Avengers) as a young Captain Hook. So yeah, Loki's in it, which probably means it's gonna be really good. Official Site
  3. I picked up my HG Build Gundam Mk-II a couple of weeks ago, and it reminds me of how frustrating it is to paint yellow over blue plastic. Nevertheless, it's a fun kit. Still halfway done with painting it, and once that's finished, it's off to the decal shop.
  4. Don't know about the airdate, but The Asylum will have it on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on January 28, 2014.
  5. Spielberg must be banging his head on the wall, wondering why he never came up with this.
  6. In other news, a Japanese film company will release their Kaiju film next year. The twist is that the most effective way to defeat a Kaiju isn't by Jaegers or coastal walls; all you need is Mitsu Dan. Earth Defense Widow (地球防衛未亡人)
  7. It's got an Oscar nomination for Best Visual Effects, but will it beat Gravity? Pacific Rim Nominated for Oscars' Best Visual Effects
  8. Well, it looks like Fast & Furious 7 is shelved until further notice. Fast & Furious 7 Halts Production Following the Death of Paul Walker “Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended ‘Fast & Furious’ family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on ‘Fast & Furious 7′ for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. “We are committed to keeping ‘Fast & Furious’ fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker.”
  9. 1. CCA doesn't have one. 2. The second Gundam Wing OP was used on eps. 41-49. 3. Some weird chronological order that the uploader thought of with the alternate timelines. 4. That's because Sunrise/Bandai decided to use SEED/SEED Destiny, 00 and AGE as platforms to promote music artists.
  10. Okay, I'll admit it's not as bad as the concept pics posted online over the past year. It's just that it's got a big front end and the headlights look like the SVT Cobra's - just upside down. Anyway, here are some pics. 2015 Ford Mustang
  11. This shouldn't count as a guilty pleasure, as it's too awesome. But on the subject of favorite musicals, mine's gotta be Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
