  1. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 66% - It doesn't reinvent the action-thriller wheel, but Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit offers a sleek, reasonably diverting reboot for a long-dormant franchise. Metacritic Score: 58 out of 100 A couple of reviews:
  2. The Blu-ray release will include yet another Marvel One-Shot - this time, it focuses on not-Mandarin himself, Trevor Slattery.

  5. Sounds like they'll never have a break in Seoul, which is full of rude drivers. At least they're not in Russia, which appears to be the bad driver capital of the world.
  6. Latino Review reports that Marvel is planning to bring Doctor Strange to the big screen and is in talks with Johnny Depp to play the neurosurgeon-turned-sorcerer. EXCLUSIVE: Marvel Eyeing Johnny Depp for Doctor Strange
  7. Tobot has a sister series called Hello Carbot (헬로 카봇), which uses Hyundai cars.
  8. Say what you want about the guy, but this is long overdue.
  9. Just unveiled at the North American International Auto Show is the Toyota FT-1 Concept, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of Toyota's Calty Design Research. The concept draws influence from Toyota's sports car heritage from the 2000GT to the Celica, Supra, MR2 and GT 86, as well as the 2007 FT-HS and 2012 Lexus LF-LC concepts. Calty also collaborated with Polyphony Digital to bring the car into the virtual world through Gran Turismo 6. 2014 Toyota FT-1 Concept
  10. Penguin, Catwoman, Bruce Wayne and More to Appear on Gotham TV Series
  11. Tell me about it. I've never seen such price gouging on TF toys ever. Quadrant (Ray + Morning/Picanto + Forte/Cerato + Fire Engine) = US$194.45 Tritan-3 (Sportage + Forte/Cerato Koup + Soul) = US$112.45 Tobot-C (Forte/Cerato Police Car) = US$132.45 Tobot-D (Morning/Picanto) = US$96.45 Tobot-X (Soul) = US$99.45 Tobot-Y (Forte/Cerato Koup) = US$78.45 Tobot-Z (Sportage) = US$72.45
  12. Tobot (변신자동차 또봇) is a South Korean 3D animated series about transforming cars, and it's pretty bad. Not as nauseating as China's Astro Plan, but ghastly enough to make SD Gundam Force actually watchable. It also appears to be sponsored and/or co-produced by Kia Motors, as the good guy robots consist of the Soul, the Sportage, the Forte/Cerato and the Morning/Picanto. The toys look pretty cool, though. Tobot YouTube Channel Tobot @ Cartoon Network South Korea
  13. Just added the 0 Raiser to my 00 Gundam project. Also decided to swap the arms to balance the weight of the asymmetrical design, so now the left arm is standard 00 for the GN Sword Blaster and the right arm is 00 Qan[T] for the GN Sword V. The 2-piece GN Shield is now on the left side to counter the weight of the GN Buster Sword.
  14. One of Jackie's most underrated films is Thunderbolt. Sure, the plot is extremely shallow and it's probably the biggest Mitsubishi product placement in a Jackie Chan film, and the fights are short due to Jackie's ankle injury from Rumble in the Bronx, but it's still an enjoyable film - especially if you're a car guy. Thunderbolt was directed by Gordon Chan, who went on to stain his reputation with The Medallion before committing career suicide with The King of Fighters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KtZaFKgVjc Cut to the fight scenes:
  15. Following the critical and commercial success of Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino announced another Western, titled The Hateful Eight. The title is a play on The Magnificent Seven (the American remake of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai). As usual with every Tarantino film, this will have Samuel L. Jackson in it. What will make this completely different from every Tarantino film is a dedicated soundtrack score. In the past, Tarantino would create a playlist of songs for a film instead of hiring a film score composer. For The Hateful Eight, legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone (The Man with No Name Trilogy, The Untouchables) will provide the orchestral score. The Hateful Eight premieres in 70mm format theaters in Christmas 2015 and in regular theaters on January 6, 2016. 16. 71st Golden Globe Awards Bad News: "Let It Go" lost to U2 & Danger Mouse's "Ordinary Love" (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom) for Best Original Song. Good News: Frozen beat The Croods and Despicable Me 2 for Best Animated Feature Film.
  17. I think Bandai should have a crack at doing the Jaegers in Super Robot Chogokin form. After all, they've started doing Hollywood franchises with the S.H. Figuarts Iron Man Mk. VI and War Machine.
  18. Here's something close to what I'm aiming for on my 00 project. CAUTION: Turn your volume down before playing.
