  1. Arch Enemy figures are roughly MG-size. Possibility is very good for a toy made a decade ago. BTW, does anyone here remember the giant "transforming" GP01Fb and GP02A figures from 2001? They were both designed after the MG kits.
  2. Time for a little flashback: Between 2004 and 2005, Bandai America released the Arch Enemy Aile Strike Gundam, which was among the last Gundam toys sold in U.S. stores before the American toy franchise went belly-up. I had the opportunity to hook up a few MWers with one, as it was going for an unbelievable US$6.99 (down from the MSRP of US$19.99) at K-B Toys, and L.A. had the few remaining K-B branches during its liquidation. So how much does it go for these days? Makes me wish I kept mine. Amazon.com = US$52.49 eBay = US$149.99 Go Figure = US$99.99 Want to know batshit insane? Someone wants US$300.75 for an Arch Enemy Wing Gundam Zero.
  3. Here's a preview of the upcoming Gunpla: HGCE 1/144 Aile Strike Gundam (Release Date: Feb 2014, Price: 1,365 Yen) - Mold based on Build Strike Gundam. HGCE 1/144 Strike Rouge Gundam (Release Date: Mar 2014, Price: 1,300 Yen) HGAC 1/144 Wing Gundam Zero (Release Date: Mar 2014, Price: 1,600 Yen)
  4. Even more pics of the two upcoming Gunpla. It seems that some of the original Sazabi's parts will be used on Miss Sazabi, such as the shoulder armor being the backpack. And Exia Dark Matter's Booster will be sold as a separate kit for other Gunpla.
  5. Gal Gadot just signed a three-film deal with Warner Bros., meaning that aside from Batman/Superman, she will star in the Justice League movie and her own Wonder Woman film. Wonder Woman Standalone Film Will Star Gal Gadot Oh yeah, this thread needs more Gal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BYFh8Vg5eA
  6. The Royal Rumble is coming this Sunday. Here's the card, along with my predictions: The Royal Rumble - As of today, 20 participants have been confirmed. CM Punk has been given the #1 spot by the Authority. So far, the only ones most likely to win are Punk and Batista. WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Pinfall or Submission: Randy Orton © vs. John Cena - No one cares about these two anymore. Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar - Unless they destroy the ring again like over a decade ago on , no one cares.Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt - Get it over with and put Bryan back into the Championship chase. Pre-Show Kickoff: WWE Tag Team Championship - Cody Rhodes & Goldust © vs. The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James & "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) - Why is this the kickoff match? This is far more interesting than the main event.
  7. Here's a closer look at Exia Dark Matter and Miss Sazabi, plus MG Build Gundam Mk-II, Build Strike Gundam, Sengoku Astray Gundam, and Universe Booster.
  8. BREAKING NEWS: NEW GUNPLA REVEALED! Gundam Exia will be colored red and maroon (or is it black?), similar to the Gundam Astraea Type F's livery. It also has a little bit of Reborns in its design. Miss Sazabi will be molded in gray. In addition, there will be a new HG Build Custom set called the Gunpla Battle Arm Arms. And BB Senshi versions of Build Strike Gundam and Sengoku Astray Gundam will be arriving soon.
  9. I think it's because MSM did not sell very well. Neither beginners or experienced modelers agreed with the retail price, as it was asking between MG & PG money for an oversized HG kit.
  10. I'm sure a RG Nu Gundam is in the foreseeable future. Not sure if Bandai will ever get back to doing Mega Size Models, despite using the Zaku II in episodes 11-12 of Gundam Build Fighters.
  11. Knights of Badassdom will have a limited release today in the U.S. Rotten Tomatoes Page
  12. Who's gonna pick up this bad boy? Exclusive: Destroy Your Friends and Coworkers with Nerf N-Strike Elite Demolisher 2-in-1 Blaster
  13. One thing's for sure: Tomino's live-action project will hit theaters before Robotech ever goes live-action.
  14. Just got back from watching this film. Sure, it's obviously tailored for the current generation of moviegoers, as it sacrifices much of Tom Clancy's style of suspense in favor of fast-paced action. Also, Keira Knightley's American accent is somehow not convincing, and it seems like Chris Pine is being typecast as the rookie who always gets his ass kicked. Plus, the final act feels too much like Die Hard with a Vengeance. Nevertheless, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is an entertaining watch - nowhere near the same level as The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger, but it makes you forget that The Sum of All Fears exists.
