  1. Since Rush just hit Blu-ray over a week ago, here's an excellent tribute to Formula One. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7x2YDgXzss
  2. Why does Emmet sound like a kid in the Japanese version? Japanese Cast Toshiyuki Morikawa (Kurosaki in Bleach, Gallant in Buddy Complex) as Emmet Miyuki Sawashiro (Petit Charat in Di Gi Charat) as Wyld Girl (Wyldstyle) Koichi Yamadera (Spike in Cowboy Bebop, Togusa in Ghost in the Shell) as Oshigoto Shacho/Oshigoto Daioh (President Business/Lord Business) Tessho Genda (Optimus Prime in Transformers, Dan Dastun in The Big O) as Batman Akiko Yajima (Dorothy in The Big O, Relena in Gundam Wing) Michio Hazama (Gloval in Macross) Hiroshi Iwasaki (dub actor for Rowan Atkinson, Paul Giamatti and Stanley Tucci) Yasuhiro Mamiya Japanese Cast (Trailer) Miina Tominaga (Sazae-san, Noa in Mobile Police Patlabor) as Emmet Hiroki Tochi (Daguza in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, Lasse in Mobile Suit Gundam 00) as Batman Ichiro Nagai (1931-2014) (Degwin Zabi in Mobile Suit Gundam, Dr. Sado in Uchuu Senkan Yamato) as Vitruvius (one of his final dubbing roles)

  4. Mega Shark Versus Mecha Shark The Asylum, 2014 Directed by Emile Edwin Smith Running Time: 90 minutes Not Rated (suggested R). Contains graphic violence and strong language. Cast Christopher Judge (Teal'c in Stargate SG-1, Bane henchman in The Dark Knight Rises) as Jack Turner Elisabeth Röhm (Serena Somerlyn in Law and Order, Kate Lockley in Angel) as Rosie Gray Debbie Gibson (former '80s teen pop idol) as Dr. Emma McNeil Matt Lagan as Admiral Engleberg Synopsis When another megalodon breaks free from its suspended animation and wreaks havoc in the seas, the U.S. Navy comes up with a solution: a giant mechanical shark. Lowdown Well, it was inevitable. The Asylum has cashed in on the hype of last year's Sharknado with yet another Mega Shark movie. Mega Shark Versus Mecha Shark is your typical schlock you expect from The Asylum: an inane script, low-rent special effects, laughable acting and a cast of has-been actors. In the case of the latter, you have Stargate SG-1 alumnus Christopher Judge and Angel star Elisabeth Röhm, who both look confused throughout the film as they've apparently never worked with such low-quality material. Debbie Gibson fans will probably be disappointed, as she only has five minutes of screen time and all she does is talk over the phone in her office. As for the rest of the film, it's a lot better than Mega Shark Versus Crocosaurus, but that's not saying much. The trailers advertise the Mecha Shark as the only solution to combat the megalodon, but aside from the mid-air tackle, it's actually very useless. The Mecha Shark uses an A.I. named "Nero", whose voice vaguely resembles William "K.I.T.T." Daniels, but its role is never solidly determined because it's frequently offline. There are other characters in this film such as a female Australian news reporter and a six-year-old girl, but despite their prominent screen time, their importance to the story is non-existent. And given the outcome of the battle itself, it's a huge disappointment compared to Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus. In short, Mega Shark Versus Mecha Shark is not the worst of the Mega Shark trilogy, but still a considerable disappointment. As a matter of fact, there's a scene where Judge rides a motorcycle and jumps over the Mecha Shark; that about sums up the whole film. 5. "SPACESHIP!" Quite possibly the best family movie this year. The CGI works very seamlessly to give the illusion of actual Lego bricks and figures in motion - right down to ocean ripples and transparent flame bits for the explosions. And the plot twist in the middle of the film is priceless. Ironically... It's just too bad...
  6. Power Rangers Super Megaforce isn't out yet, but Saban just announced next year's title. Apparently, they are skipping Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters and proceeding with Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger instead. Exclusive: Power Rangers Dino Charge Coming in 2015

  8. Finally got around to watching the first two episodes. Damn, this show's high on meth. It's nowhere near the same level as Cowboy Bebop, but Space Dandy makes a name of its own by flooding the screen with psychedelic effects mixed with '70s jazz music. And the cheesy dub actually works with this medium. Off to continue the marathon...
