  1. Okay, so there is hope for the movie toys. Leader Class Optimus Prime still sucks balls, though. Toy Fair 2014 Age of Extinction Generations Deluxe Class Images Toy Fair 2014 Age of Extinction Generations Voyager Class Images Toy Fair 2014 Age of Extinction Generations Leader Class Images
  2. That new Guardians of the Galaxy trailer makes me want to watch Reservoir Dogs tonight.
  3. Just picked up the new sparring partner over the weekend. I'm very impressed with the design of the 1.5 Gundam, despite the purple not photographing well. Gonna see what other parts I can add to it before the next photo shoot.

  5. Good News: RWBY figures are coming this year. Bad News: They're by McFarlane Toys. And they're overpriced (US$34.95!). RWBY Ruby Figure - Presale
  6. Sweet paint job, dude. The dark blue really makes a better contrast than the stock purple, which doesn't photograph well. I couldn't agree more, though I'm more inclined to the 1 ("Eye") and 1.5 ("Eyes"). The transformation gimmick of Reborns is a bit overboard, as the 1.5 Gundam proves you only need one form to have badass cannons.
  7. Here's another Lego masterpiece.
  8. Some new action shots of my 00 Gundam project, with the GN Sword V in Buster Rifle mode.
  9. For a while, I've been thinking about getting a sparring partner for my custom 00 Gundam project from a few pages back. Unfortunately, despite being mass-production units, the GN-X III and Ahead are hard to come by in my area. The Arche Gundam is not really that appealing, and there's something not right about the Garazzo and Gadessa flying solo. After much debate, the 1.5 ("Eyes") Gundam has become my top candidate. Is there anything I have to watch out for before I pick it up at my hobby shop?
  10. Well that's what made RoboCop what he is. Weller's months of training with a mime artist gave the character the intended robotic look and feel, as he was a dead person in a robot body slowly rediscovering his humanity. This new version, on the other hand, is just a guy in a suit, which kinda defeats the whole point of calling him RoboCop.
  11. That is disappointing to hear. In the 1987 version, Old Detroit's state of decay due to crime and economic ruin was the perfect background, with such chaos on the streets and even in the OCP board room. Because Old Detroit is a run-down slum, we get all these brilliant and memorable characters such as Murphy, Lewis, and of course, Clarence Boddicker. Telling the story in a generic-looking city just defeats the whole purpose of RoboCop.
  12. A question for those who have seen this film: Compared to the 1987 version, does the city of Detroit play a major factor in the storyline?
