  1. I used to have this kit. For a Gunpla that's almost 30 years old, it's still impressive. Shame that the joints on this example don't hold well anymore.
  2. Thanks, bro. This is probably the last time I'll transform Tryon 3, as parts-forming is very cumbersome.
  3. The film isn't out yet, but the critics are already raving about it. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 99% - " Inventive, gorgeously animated, and powerfully moving, Inside Out is another outstanding addition to the Pixar library of modern animated classics." Metacritic Score: 93 out of 100
  4. For once, I didn't mind the product placement, as it takes place at a theme park (which always thrives on product placement). And let's not forget Margaritaville, with CEO Jimmy Buffett making a cameo appearance as one of the guests running away from the Pterosaur swarm. Not in the mood for margaritas? On a tight dining budget? There's Yoshihoya and Jamba Juice at the park. Jurassic World Dining
  5. When an aristocrat dying of cancer has his mind transferred to the body of a younger man, he gets more than he bargains for when he discovers that his new body is not the "empty vessel" he was promised. Self/less is directed by Tarsem Singh (Immortals, Mirror Mirror) and stars Ben Kingsley (Gandhi, Mandarin in Iron Man 3), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool, Green Lantern), Matthew Goode (Ozymandias in Watchmen), and Michelle Dockery (Nancy in Non-Stop). The film premieres on July 10. Self/less @ IMDb
  6. Just watched this film in 3D, and it is a worthy successor to the first film. Jurassic World knows very well that it's not as good as Jurassic Park, but it brings back the original film's level of dinosaur terror - only with more dinosaurs and a larger playground. Sure, the idea of training Velociraptors is far-fetched, but it actually works well with the storyline. Oh yeah, the most implausible thing throughout the film is not any of the dinosaur action, but Bryce Dallas Howard running around the entire island on high heels. That being said, Jurassic World is a much better sequel than The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III.
  7. Two years used to be the norm for Bond film releases. Only the first four Bond films, as well as Moore's first two films, were released at a one-year interval. The longest delay between Bond films are as follows: Six years - Licence to Kill (1989) to GoldenEye (1995) Four years - Die Another Day (2002) to Casino Royale (2006); Quantum of Solace (2008) to Skyfall (2012) Three Years - The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) to The Spy Who Loved Me (1977); The World Is Not Enough (1999) to Die Another Day (2002); Skyfall (2012) to SPECTRE (2015)

  11. Wait - was he even considered in the first place? Chandler Riggs Out of the Running for Spider-Man And in other news... I Can't Believe It's Not Butterfield! Tom Holland and Charlie Rowe Remaining Spider-Man: Marvel and Sony at Odds Over Casting?

  14. This Sunday's PPV will probably end in a Dusty finish in his honor. R.I.P. Dusty Rhodes, the "American Dream".
  15. Time to fire up the EVA Jukebox. Old vs. New.
  16. R.I.P. Francisco Scaramanga. The Man with the Golden Gun was a horrible Bond film, but you were one of the most formidable Bond villains.
