Okay so Graham i am an aspiring film maker. My job in the Air Force is videographer, and i intend to go to film school when my enlistment is up. Now i know how the film industry works, and i know how everything changes, but lets say i do become a direct who has made enough quality films that a studio in hollywood would bank roll a dream project of mine with me having complete and total control over said project. You mean to tell me that if i put out a Macross film, probably a live action version of DYRL or something real close to it you wouldn't watch it? I feel that the problem with hollywood and their adaptations is that they don't let fans make the movie. Sam Raimi is a Spiderman fan and it shows, Michael Bay has probably never once seen an episode of Transformers and it shows too. I am a die hard fan and always have been. i know what belongs in a Macross film and what doesn't and if it wasnt just a CGI orgy of trash and it was actually what it's supposed to be you wouldnt watch my film? Hopefully one day i will be able to tackle a dream project and if it is something like Macross, god help me i will show the world what a real adaptation of an anime should be.

I am sure this has been stated somewhere before but if not i will say it now. Venom from what i heard is a huge part of this film. Like the whole second half or so of it will feature him. I say this because the actors are not committed to a 4th film. What is the point of setting up something when most of the key players are not committed to the project? they have all stated that as long as there is a good script and raimi comes back that they wouldn't mind a 4th or more but as of now there isn't one. Sam never wanted venom in this movie but the studio convinced him and he went ahead and added him. I feel the movie will go as follows, now mind you this is just what i have piece together from previews and other info not an actual script or anything. Spidey gets the suit, from space most likely, and battles the new villian sandman (there have been hints as to a fourth villian, possibly the lizard) During the course of the battles he comes accros Harry in his own goblin desgin suit. He nearly kills harry and realizes the suit is making him evil and more aggressive (this comes from the fact that we see harry in the hospital) He goes and removes the suit and it falls on Eddie who has was in the chapel at the same time. After he becomes Venom he torments and haunts spidey, i do believe sandman will still be around too. Then spidey and harry make up and team up against the villians cause it has been stated a million times that harry isn't necesarily a bad guy the entire movie and has been hinted about a team up between the two. There that is my two scents, granted i am still missing a lot of stuff, like the gwen stacy mary jane stuff but that is how i see the movie going. I am sure they will leave it a little open for possible sequels but for the most part the films will be over until they renew contracts

Okay okay here is my two cents. I would have to say Mospeda because most, MOST of the macrossworlders know about it, have seen it and liked it and would appreciate those more than most anything else. I have never really seen BGC or Dorvak or some of the others mentioned. Most of us have seen Mospeda due to Robotech seeing how most of us learned of Macross from Robotech. It just seems to makes the most sense to me, but then i could be wrong because of the whole HG rights and what not. But i would much rather have an alpha/beta and rider armour than anything else right now.

Except for one issue i had with mhy VF-1s Hikaru i can safely say that i haven't had a lot of problems or issues with mine. I one a good amount of stuff too. The few issues i have had i can honestly say were my fault for being a beast of a man. I am not the most delicate of people, but for as rough as i have been at times my yammies come through over and over again for the most part. Then again i don't have a VF-0 yet and i was never a big fan of whatever show the Garland comes from, the name escapes me right now for reason.

i saw it, but i don't know i expected a bigger pay off at the end. it was an okay film, definitely a rental but not really worth seeing in theaters. But don't get me wrong it was a good film with a strong cast i just felt as though the plot seemed to be building to something a little bigger in the end.

i am not that gentle with mine and other than a week left wing joint i haven't had many issues with mine. Hell even the gunpod wasnt that crooked. I am sure some of you would be worried about the way i handle mine but after seeing graham handle his i figure i was good. I am not the most delicate person when it comes to toys and i dont seem to have a lot of problems with them. Maybe that is the key in order to keep your toys in good shape u have to be kind of rough, lol, as if roughly handling keeps everything tight and in place, except for the wing joint.

Don't forget to ask about the VF-5000, god thats a sexy beast

Um to my knowledge Graham this is the most requested stuff: Better QC Valks from other series, most wanted are vf-4, vf-11, vf-5000, yf-19 A two seater VF-1 but i believe you have already adress that issue a while back A english version for their site Some enemy mecha reissues of the super max and super millia ( i agree with that one) the reactive armor for the VF-0 better box art the SV-51 and just more valks of different colors and the chance of some Macross 7 valks somehow depsite the bandai stronghold. That should cover most of the recurring requests

hey i have always wondered are the legs sturdy in getter 2 mode? it looks like it may be very top heavy. Yeah i saw their gunbuster too but i heard the SOC one is better, and far cheaper

From what i have been told they are going to make Doom more like he is supposed to be in this movie. Yes doom is also in the movie, rumor has it he teams up with the surfer for a bit. Hopefully he will somehow use magic. Let say he uses the dark arts to transfer into a new body back at his home country. Then with his newly acquired skills he goes on a rampage and teams up with the surfer to take down the 4.

Oh trust me i have done my homework. The one i know i want is the revised perfect change getter robothat came out in 2005 i believe. The one with all the new improvements over their original model, but thanks again for all the info. I have been a huge getter fan ever since i saw starvengers (the american version) as a kid, so i can wait to get one of these babies. Later i will get the shin getter versions. But right now i just bought the gunbuster from soul of chogokin. God i have such a long wish list of toys i want to buy

I go with both the Hikaru vf-1j (because of my childhood) and the 1/60 yf-19. The 19 is my all time favorite valk design

i remember when i was a fresh noob in collecting. I started with a loose jetfire that was for sale at a specialty toy store. It didnt have any fastpacks, just the figure but i was so happy cause macross/robotech toys were the one toy i always wanted and never got as a kid. Then i bought the masterpiece vf-1j rick hunter and was happier. I never bought the 1/60 yamatos cause i didn't like the fact that they werent perfect transformation toys. Then the all mighty 1/48 series came out. My first was the vf-1s hikaru, and my life and wallet havent been the same since. But god has it been a great ride so far, and i cant wait for what comes out next.

Seeing as how the 19 is my favorite all time mech, and seeing as how i have one, and despite all the issues in love it and can't put it down i am going with the..........19 duh. I thinks its amazing and would gladly buy another, one for fighter one for battroid so i can keep them in both modes. And when i get a launch arm i will buy another for gerwalk mode. Its hard to keep it up without one cause its so front heavy

No it doesnt, but you know despite everything i wouldn't give this toy up for anything. Yes there are problems but damnis this a beautiful toy and i love it a lot. I would gladly buy another

its the side of the leg, the way it curves out. when you swing the wings past that part of the leg it weakens them

Yeah i knew that was why too so now you have to find a way to transform it without moving it past the bump so that doesn't happen.

Anyone know how to tighten the wing joint on the hip? My is a little loose now after transforming it a good couples of times, and so now the wing just flops down in battroid mode.

I am glad the thing wasnt cgi. CGI is way over done and many times unnecessary. Yes the Surfer has to be but not the thing. The rubber suit gave it a more realistic feel instead of that slick glossy look. The best CGI characters ever have been gollum and the hulk, but that had great special effects team working on those. WETA and ILM unfortunately cant do CGI for everyone though.
