  1. Here is my question, if Bandai has the Macross 7 license then shouldn't that mean this company needs their permission to make models or what have you? Or is there some loop hole i am not aware of? I ask because if they can make these models then Yamato should be able to make valks from that series too and maybe, with hope and prayer the VF-5000 that i so desperately want.
  2. Meh there has been talk about this movie for years and it still hasn't happened. Right now he is working on Avatar and then after that who knows. You figure with the filmmaking rep he has it shouldn't take forever and a day to make or even finance or whatever needs to be done for a film. He has always expressed interest in the Battle Angel stuff but has never really followed up on it. I will wait until more concrete information comes out.
  3. Oh okay i need to check that out when i go home later. Thanks
  4. Wait a minute, I could have sworn as just the figher it self if doesn't have gun pods. The gun pods were part of the fast pack so unless it is the VF-22 the gun pods wouldn't actually be stored on the normal fighter version of the craft. The main weapons in Battriod mode were the guns located right above the hands, but then i could be wrong but if you look at the Design Works book it clearly shows no gun pods on the figher.
  5. I agree with that as well. The whole removable limbs never really appealed to me and it is more things that could mess up the overall product. Most of you are custom geniuses and all of us can turn a screw driver so I think it would be just fine if they don't add that particular gimmick into the valk.
  6. The more i look at the toys i get excited for them. They seem to be one of the most accurate, as far as their cartoon counterparts are concerned, trans toys made. (save for the masterpiece collections). I had my doubts at first but i am coming around. If nothing else i will most definitly buy the toys except for maybe starscream which i don't like that much.
  7. Its a toy. It is the 12" Icons like toy that was released with the movie. I am a huge ghost rider fan, and despite how bad the movie was i loved it anyway. Yes the figure is awesome. Great detail and Marvel Legends articulation.
  8. Yepper bought it finally with my deployment monies lol. It can be a pain sometimes and gets loose a lot (but they included a small screwdriver for that luckily or rather smart thinking on their part) but i love it and getter 1 and 3 are my favorite combos, getter 2 is kind of hard to keep stable because it is so top heavy.
  9. Meh here you go. I have a few more valks mostly from Mac 7 and the origianl Mac+ ones but with all the new and better (so to speak) stuff coming out i opted to just display the really beautiful ones instead. Oh and some pics of other transformer and combining toys as well enjoy....
  10. Wooow you have to see the teaser footage shown at the SDCC. You can go to superherohype.com to get the link. It looks amazing, spot on so far and really funny too. Can't wait.
  11. As long as it has the fixes and what not I will be happy to finally have a VF-0S. I haven't bought a new valk since the 19 after hearing all the bad news about the shoulders on the VF-0S/ 0A. I will buy the SV-51 though because that is just such a pretty bird
  12. Sure it wasn't great but honestly what do you expect from a movie about a toyline made 20 years ago and directed by Michael Bay. If your expectations were high than that was dumb; but for what it was you have to admit it was enjoyable none the less. Yes it could be better but than what movie couldn't? There is no such thing as a perfect movie for there will always be someone there to criticise it, and it isn't like the movie was trying to be something it isn't like an academy award winning movie for best picture (although it may get best effects.) I enjoyed it and will see it again as well as Live Free or Die Hard. Except for Hot Fuzz, these movies have been the most fun i have ever had in the theater this year.
  13. Yeah i didn't feel any raping either. For the longest time i was a big opposer to the film but i knew i would see it anyway. I liked it, it was a lot better than i thought. I got over the designs. Honestly i don't know why we keep doing this to ourselves; we all know these movie adaptations will never be that close to the original material. We all cry bloody hell when we see design or character changes, (i admit i am at fault at that one a lot) but in the end we still accept the changes and like the movies. We need to just get used to the fact that things will never be like they should be and just appreciate them for what they are. Okay so Bumblebee wasn't a VW bug but the camaro was real nice to look at anyway. My true gripe was that not enough time was spent on the robot themselves, and the decepticons did take a huge back see in most of the film especially when you consider they were the first robots we saw for most of it. Also does anyone know when they got to earth or how long they have been here? I know Megatron was here for awhile but they never explain the others.
  14. Nah he said it but he was grunting while saying it. You can say it. look at be cool or the bourne identity the say the f word once in both movies and that is it.
  15. I too will admit i enjoyed it. If nothing else to see them run and transform or drive/fly and transform without stopping.
  16. Saw the movie and yes he does say it in the last five minutes. As i said a PG-13 movie is allowed one and only one in the film
  17. Oh i am sure he says it and the will be the only allowable F-word in the film. PG-13 movies are only allowed one, anything more than one whether it is two or three or more is an automatic rated R
  18. I have complete faith in christopher nolan's abilities as a direct as he has never dissappointed me and all his movies are amazing. I am sure this one is sure to surprise everyone just like the last one did. With his batman everything has a purpose so i am sure there is a great reason for this batpod in the film and i am sure that when we see it in action everyone one who had an issue will be like "oh wow um nevermind this thing is cool as all hell." I remember when people were b***in about the tumbler and now it is like the greatest thing ever.
  19. I too loved beast wars and thought that is was done well. It tied into the original mythos and was very enteraining to watch. So what they didn't have vehicles to transform into, there were no vehicles during that time so they used what they could animals. I loved it, and i loved all the revelations that came from the show.
  20. didn't watch all of it but i did like what i saw
  21. Wait seth green does neal? Really? i know he does chris but i didn't know he did neal too, i always thought it was one of the jerky boys that did that. Intersting as always my respect for seth green continues to grow.
  22. I read that Cillian Murphy has been spotted on the set over at superherohype.com
  23. Not to go to off topic but i have come across this as well. you know i don't like when Kid's WB does marvel comics shows, just stick to the DC stuff. Here it is the Spectacular Spider-man http://www.superherohype.com/news/spider-mannews.php?id=5894
  24. The tumbler is in this movie, they have already stated somewhere that they had made like 6 or 7 more for this movie.
  25. Maybe they figured waaaaay back when that a hero dressed in all black is just too dull so they added some colors in his costume.
