Also if you know anything about the history of TV or visual media then you would know that there has always been text or words that needed to be read. Seeing as how when moving pictures came about they didn't have audio with them. The story was told with title cards between the action of the flim. So basically people have been reading while watching films and TV ever since it was invented. So how about you actually know what you are talking about before you make an ignorant comment like that.

some um yeah i don't wish i was japanese but love watching subs. Honestly i prefer animeigo because it does have all the original sounds and voices which bring back a simplier era lol. And if tv were for watching the CNN, Fox, and most stations wouldn't have tickers running at the bottom of them, better yet there would never be any text of any kind on it at all. Just my two cents. oooohhhh that's fightin words there. Anywho as i have scolled through most of this i am inclined to lean with hurin for the fact that it is a franchise with established rules. I am a film freak and love movies. Now i do understand that they are also entertaiment and can do what ever they like. But with that said you shouldn't go and mess with stuff in established community, with if the corleone family was related to scarface or something how upset would people be by that. As for the sheer entertainment side well i love all the indy movies and hope it stays true to that, but if it just another fluff piece i will just watch shoot em up or snakes on a plane. Entertainment pieces with out history that can be seen for what they are. And as for that toy comment. Sure it is a toy but some of us want it to be as close to the shows we watched as possible. Now i am not as harsh or as strict as some are about accuracy but it still matters to me how well something is faithfully adapted. Especially now that toy engineering has come so far.

VF-0S with ghost combo is the second gen, and the safest bet. If you just get a regular VF-0S it is just the luck of the draw

yeah that was my point, someone asked why there arent there and i said it was because of that. Macross is the bread and butter of yamato and if they can't show off their flagship franchise then why go?

Oh i am sure but when yamato is there do they display there macross items? I know they have showed their garland and other stuff but i don't know if they show macross items. If they have before then never mind.

meh they don't do too many foriegn companies there. Yamato isn't that big plus with all the harmony gold fuss i don't know if they are allowed to show any of the macross toys even if they were there.

I definitely want the new animated line. Also i know i am late but i finally got the Movie Leader class optimus prime. It is the nightwatch version but still really cool. I want the premium version too for the right colors and the kickass sword. I like bots with swords. I really like the organic look of it although i wasn't the biggest fan at first. The movie has influenced me a lot. I have now a voyager Ironhide and have been debating the megatron one but that is my least favorite design. I would like to hear your opinions on it. I also finally have a masterpiece megatron on the way and a military Garland. It has been so long since i bought i toy i was going through withdrawals, but i am satisfied now until the YF-21 makes its debut.

Uh since when does a robot have a past. Her past would only be relevant in Firefly but in this show why? She a bot, she was made then sent into the past to save john nuff said. Having a past would mean that she should have emotion other wise it would just be a robot skeleton running around killing people.

To my knowledge he is very upset at how hollywood treated his last film the league of extraordinary gentlemen and has officially retired until things change so yes he is out.

Also it looks as if they took the backpack antenna away. I liked that thing, it was a cool neat feature and cool to show during gerwalk poses.

You know if you could some how pull out the heatshield in fighter mode you could recreat hikaru's flight back to earth since the leg wings moved up during that part. I always thought it was very cool to see the heat shield deployed while in fighter, especially the ones with the jolly roger on them. And honestly i could care less about the side covers. I never used them on the 1/48s so the few 1/60s i get it doesnt bother me that i doesnt have them. I find them a bit of a nuisance anyway.

Well the whole point was that the sith were already in control and someone had to rise up to oppose them and brinbg them down to bring balance to the force. Although real balance in anything requires some equality on both sides of the fence so having no sith isn't what i call a balance. In the NT the sith were hiding but when they made their presence known it was devastating. Like how Starscream stole the show in the pilot/ movie. Since we have all these autobots the decepticons will be more effective in the context of the show when they arrive. And even better since i mentioned a word with their name would be to actually see Devastator come up and cause all hell.

If there would ever be a reason for that it would be because they had to reshoot something and i am positive they don't Besides the whole face masking or painting like they did in Star Wars Eps III for Christopher Lee isn't all that great. CGI is not the cure all for everything despite what people think. But back on track this is a tragedy, i was actually upset because i did like him as an actor and saw that he had an amazing future. Yet another good one leaves us before they had the chance to truly shine.

I do believe all principal shooting was finished so he was already mostly done with the project so that will be his last role ever, as the Joker. sad and funny in a morbid sense.

You need a Max VF-1A to finish off the collection, just as i need the Kakizaki

I do want to see more decepticons but i like this way better. It is like the Sith in Star Wars, they were few are far between but when they came they took people out constantly.

Well here is the overall question, have they ever done anything like that before? Besides it is well known that Macross isn't as big in Japan as other properties so the studios may not care to spend the money to remake it. Sure you could say that with the new series it will reinvigorate interest but honestly they didn't do it for Gundam which has a bigger following than Macross. This is all just a dream wish, it is nice to have but in reality it will never happen. Well let me not say that because i said the same about the perfect 1/60 VF-1 and was wrong, but i am sure they would go back and do the first gundam than macross if they were to do something like that.

I watch it all the time and see things that yes do annoy me in the animation. But it is also one of the reasons that i love it. The main reason no one including myself don't want it to be remade or fixed or whatever is because no one has ever gone back to their original work and just touched it up like a tattoo or something. Look at Lucas he went back and completely changed and in effect ruined the original trilogy by updating it. We all know that if there were updates that it would some how change the greatness of the show. I don't want an update. If people can't except the original show on it's own merits than they shouldn't watch it anyway. I see tons of old movies that aren't up to pay with today's film as far as the way it looks or what have you but that doesn't mean that i want them to be remade or touched up. i hate films that were black and white and are now color because they think that's what people want. My girlfriend has a son who loves star wars, not the knew ones but the old ones. And he doesn't care if the effects are dated, the story and the package as a whole is what captures him. Same with Macross. The stor and the whole should be what people care about not the way the animation looks. If that is what they are concerned with then they shouldn't be watchin macross anyway.
