  1. Why does the fight mode have gaps? Sure it is just a prototype but damn the fighter should have a few gaps as humanly possible like all of yammies stuff
  2. more and more i am not liking this offering from bandai. it seems they are spending more time on the model then the figure. the figure is just fugly. damn why couldn't yamato tackle it? stupid bandai and their licenses. yamato has shown to be true masters of all things macross, sure the qc has had problems i won't deny but they do go back and fix said problems and offer great figures. while working so close to SK bandai should at least be on the same level if not better but i feel we are going to get more mac 7 type toys out them.
  3. lol it's amazing how small they are compared to more recent valks in the macross canon. i guess when they saw the size of enemy mecha they went bigger. I remember seeing miriya's vf-1j being rescued by basara's vf-19 and thinking that it was tiny. Well unfortunately i will eat my words a get a few vf-1 1/60 version for scale sake though i still love the 1/48. I love big toys. I wish i had the funds for a first release yf-21 but i never got my stimilus so that means it is going to be mailed to me on june 20th. i hope i can still procure one without having to pay a huge price from folks. I want one so bad. I need to have some dynamic isamu vs guld poses going on. I really want two one for fighter the other for battroid but i only have on 19 at the moment and the balance in my display would be off.
  4. That's the one i have now. Back on topic how much does a mint low vis ver 1 go for nowadays? I want one for chrismas
  5. As a matter of fact my Christmas present to myself is updating my collection by 4 or 5 valks since i haven't bought anything new since last year valk wise. I got back into TFs since they are cheaper and easier to come by, oh and a Garland finally as well which is equally as badass if you get the newer versions.
  6. Um i believe since 01 or 02. I have been hunting them down since 85 but it wasn't until then that i could afford it. Really it all comes down to money and how much ramen u intend on eating to get a big collection. My collection is decent but I normally don't display everything i have just my 1/48 yammies and the new 1/60 versions of stuff like the YF-19 and upcoming valks. Now if i actually become the filmmaker i want to be then i shall blow you all away as i buy everything, including some of your stuff mwahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
  7. I dont think it would ever properly work as a movie. Too much would be lost in translation as every movie based on a cartoon is. See Speed Racer, Transformers, and the new GI Joe
  8. That's all i was saying in my post as well. And from looking at the ad i am not impressed at all
  9. It says DX across the photo and the DX is 1/60
  10. In those pics it does say 1/72 but that is the color figure, the pics show that the gray figure is supposed to be the 1/60
  11. Well he did write for one but then the studio may have made him make drastic changes. After seeing his work I really don't think he himself would have purposely killed the franchise. He was working on it when he was an unknown and usually you have to listen to the studios when you have no clout in the industry. I am sure that if he had made it now it would have been a different and far better movie.
  12. Well he already said that after some change over in Fox management that he feels comfortable about having his new show with them. I have been reading about this for some time now and it sounds like it will be an amazing show. But then again ole Joss can't do no wrong in my book.
  13. Okay after looking at other pics yes the gray prototype is the 1/60 version. I hope that it is just for show and they plan on making a whole lot more improvements on it. If not then yes Yamato has them beat
  14. Cartoon Network just played Velocity with the first look at Blur
  15. Meh looks like something to play with while i wait for the 1/60 line to come
  16. That is just too funny, I miss Serpentor and Nemesis Enforcer
  17. I am sure you can track down a Marvel Legends hulk buster for a good price somewhere. All the new toys may be nice but i would rather stick with the Marvel Legends figures cause they usually have more articulation and cool accessories. I have had a War Machine figure for a while to stick on my wall of black superheroes. I also have the best Deadpool figure ever and it comes with two sword, three guns, and two sais. The War Machine came with all his usual stuff and some extra stuff to make it look like he is shooting missle, and the face of his helmet comes off. Marvel Legends figures are the way to go. Kind of off topic i know
  18. I am really feelin the show right now. I haven't been this amped for a show in a long time. Hopefully the keep up with how everything is flowing so far and not drop off and some point. That would be disappointing but then again as long as i see valks in action i am in heaven. (with the exception of Macross 7 lol)
  19. As long as they make all the various valks with their special items like the sniper rifle i could care less who makes what at this point just as long as it's an amazing product
  20. He eventually helps Tony by taking over as Iron Man while Tony fakes his death in the comics. He takes one of Tony's armors called War Machine and assists Tony as War Machine after they repair their friendship from Tony faking his death. War Machine is gray and black Iron Man armour with missiles and machine guns mounted on it.
  21. I love the new cartoon. Despite what some say i think it is great. The nods to the original and the movie are outstanding. Just saw the garbage in, garbage out episode featuring wreck-gar. Voiced by Weird Al the show was entertaining and he said that he Dared To Be Stupid and used the universal greeting!! Can't wait to see what else they throw in. Plus the actor doing the voice of Ultra Magnus does a great Robert Stack impersonation.
  22. Another blog from my Myspace page Part II: Speed Racer Today I dragged my self against various bad reviews to bring to you my review of Speed Racer. Well...um....it isn't great, or really good, but it isn't bad either. I would mark it at okay. Really after the start of the movie season with Iron Man this is a sad follow up. This really is a movie for kids with some adult language but not much with the word ass used repeatedly and at one time Speed saying, "Get that weak s##t off my track." That made me chuckle I won't lie. The movie is visually sickening. It is bright and color full as the previews show and it takes a good minute to get used to it. The plot moves slow at the beginning and why is he driving the Mach 6??? Everyone knows it was always about the Mach 5. I guess in official races they have to have a certain type of car that the Mach 6 qualifies as and the Mach 5 is basically the drive around town vehicle; though it does shine rather well during the cross country race. It does eventually also get all the tricks, bells and whistles that we all have come to love from the cartoon. The cast is okay but the movie is very corny way to much. There are some cool fight scenes but nothing spectacular. Really all you do while sitting there for two hours is wait for the racing scenes. Wow that was the best part of the movie. They went all out to make the racing scenes great and high octane yet very unrealistic but most of us don't go to movies for realism. The jump feature on all the cars are used every 5 minutes but in very innovative ways, and the end race was a lot of fun. All in all I would suggest to sit this one out for the DVD. If you feel you have to watch a movie go watch Iron Man again until Prince Caspian comes out.
  23. I beg to differ, The Boondocks is just as funny if not funnier than the Ventures. I rate them as equals honestly. But yes this is one of the best things they have created next to Space Ghost Coast 2 Coast.
