True, since I am getting the Rodimus Prime from Tak I may as well look at getting the US version so I can have a hot rod as well

So I was thinking about the Masterpiece Rodimus and how people are looking for a US release without the trailer. Now I completely understand from a price stand point but then you would only have Hot Rod (which I am completely happy with btw), but the whole growing into Rodimus becomes an unnecessary feature as you won't be able to attach his trailer. So if a US release is in order would they just do a slight retool to get rid of that if no trailer is coming with it? Granted this is all hypothetical since we don't even know for sure a US release is coming though it's kind of obvious since the only ones that haven't been released at TRU are Megatron for obvious toy law issues, and Ultra Magnus since he's just a prime repaint.

Honestly I agree with the list, only because it talks about the ICONIC mecha of anime, mostly for US audiences. Now as someone who doesn't know much about the others you guys have mentioned I do know about all the mechs listed. With the exception of Gunbuster I believe if you ask most ppl that watch anime what they feel are iconic mechs this entire list will be mentioned. Now does that mean that everything on the list is techinically a mech? No but it does mean if I asked someone who has a decent knowledge on anime on the street what mech is they will probably list the things here. I know a ton of people that watch anime and they always talk about these when talking about mechs. I am glad the Gunbuster did make the list though.

Back in the day when I was desparate for Macross based toys I remember when these came out. It was such a tease to me because they can't transform. Whats worse it's just a terrible toy all around

The trailer shows that it does indeed have the original voices on it. Yeah for the black power ranger....(for those who don't konw Vash is voiced by Johnny Young Bosch aka Adam the second Black Ranger from Power Rangers.)

I remember sometime last year they had mentioned it. That after season 4.5 there will be the season finally around Christmas this year, and then a season five later.

I believe they have all ready confirmed there will be a season 5, but don't quote me on that

Getting my first actual tranformering valkryie (though it was actually jetfire) at the age of 19. Then buying a PSP for the sole purpose of Macross Ace Frontier, and listneing to the Macross Frontier soundtrack constantly while driving around town and rocking both Sheryl and Ranka.

I had that gobot, loved the hell out of it too.

It is, the back it too big, and the canopy isn't big enough, but i will take that sacrifce, bot mode is gorgeous. Also I'm hoping he will have his saw blade, seeing how even the classics version has the saw blade and they pack the Masterpiece versions with whatever they can it would make since he will come with it, as well as the matrix.

Ok i don't want to search for an answer in previous pages, what are the chances of english subtitles on the blu-ray? because as great as all this is if it doesn't have subtitiles i'm skipping, i don't know japanese.

Rodimus wasn't that big though, just a little taller than Hot Rod, and his trailer is more like Optimus's as it comes out of no where and connects but it has been shown that he can go without his trailer in car mode on the show.
