At first i was interested in this but after seeing that video it looks terrible. Though i do want the figures of the pilots though.

I think it holds up. After all this time the animation is still good, and the music still rocks. If the questions is about that aspect yes it holds up, kind of like how DYRL still holds up. If the question is really is it just as enjoyable as it was 25 years ago well that's all a matter of opinion. I think the movie still holds up, still is awesome despite it's cringe worthy scenes (the giant dance party on planet junk) and I still love it to this day. Just as the G.I. Joe movie still holds up especially compared to the stuff that has come out since. But from a purely technical stand point I don't see how you couldn't say it doesn't hold up. Everything else is up to a person's opnion. Plus this was the first time I knew a cartoon could say a curse word. Also to say this movie was aimed for kids seriously needs to go watch it again. That being said it was the 80's, around the time the movie, comic, and other items meant for kids that came out everything was trying to be dark and gritty so whatever.

Wait wait wait....there's a version 2 of the VF-19???? But the first version just came out and was damn near perfect lol.

No Toynami is just a terrible company. Once they blew their load with the Masterpiece line of VF-1s and Alphas they just stopped caring. Other than Futurama what other line do they have that they actually keep up or care for? You would think they would've done more with the Voltron line than they did. I used to follow the company's site a lot looking for updates years ago until I realized they only update their site like twice a year with info about products that won't be released for a year or so afterwards. If you are a Futurama fan they are good, for all their other lines the consumer is just S.O.L.

AND when have they ever done that for the wings anyway? As I stated before all wings magically shrink in battroid, I mean look at the 19 series alone, there is no way those wings in battroid equal to the length and width in fighter. I think the CAD is amazing, and a great physical representation and can't way to see more prototype pics.

That trailer didn't seem to spoil much for me but it got me hyped since I haven't seen anything of the new movie. Now I am foaming at the mouth to watch it.

In all fairness though the luchador look wouldn't go to well in the Bat-Universe Nolan has created. As always I stand by his decisions as he has yet to fail me and I have been a fan of his since 2000 and all of his movies. This is a man that definitely knows what he is doing, and why he makes the changes he does. Too many people didn't like the look of Joker when they first saw him yet it was perfect for the film.

At the moment all my valks are in storage (bad year had to move) but after my gateway valk i have since acquired all my dream valks, including a TV vermillion squadron, TV Focker, Max and Miria, Yf-19 etc etc

Congrats man, mine was a hand me down Jetfire with no armor or gun in like 2000, then I was overjoyed to get the Toynami Masterpiece VF-1J when they first came out. Then i discovered this site and yamato and the 1/48s thus ruining my wallet for a decade now lol. But the first no matter the quality is always the sweetest, it's the next 30 you buy that sucks as you think about what food you don't want to eat, what bills you can forgo for a month, and selling your car so you can get the newest version of a VF-1, or in recent cases VF-25 lol. This valk is your gate way drug into Macross addiction. We all suffer from it lol.

Here's a question, will you be able to hook the gunpod on the side of the legs for knife combat? They happen to do that a few times in the show. It gets overlooked but would be cool. And have the dual seat feature like the VF-29? I'm rewatching Frontier and have noticed these things? Both of which can be seen in Ep. 12

I saw sunshine and had faith you would do just well. Chris is a good actor who just takes a lot bad roles at times, though to be fair he was the best thing about FF as his Johnny Storm was perfect and spot on. Chris seems to understand his comic characters more than more actors especially seeing as how he has done more comic movies than anyone else
